A year later, I still love the windows. It was a very good investment. So far they are wonderful.

The sales representative at Pella Window Store was outstanding. They were very knowledgeable and very nice. It was a great experience. It is the product I'm currently having issues with, not the sales staff. The guy came and apparently they sent me a replacement window person instead of a construction window person. He set up the materials and so when the other guy came everything was ready to go. When Bernie came, he gave me a lot of feedback on the project and making changes, things that the architect had missed for the windows so he really was a great help.

Paul from Pella came and measured and discussed options with us and provided an estimate.  It was a pleasant, professional meeting.  It was in no way a high pressure sale. After getting several estimates from local companies, we choose Pella.  Everything related to scheduling and payment was simple and went without a hitch.  The contactor Pella sent to do the actual work, Frank Murray, was fantastic.  He and his assistant were professional, efficient and did impeccable finish work.  When they were done, there was no trace of mess.  I would absolutely seek them out for work in the future.

I was very pleased with them because they brought out a salesman and a contractor that does the work for them. The contractor was very experienced.

They installed over 30 windows for us. The quality of the work was very, very poor. The quality of the product was good, but not the installation. They had to come out to the house three or four times for remedial work. They also left a lot of mess and didn’t treat our home the way we expected it to be treated. They completed the work a month ago, but some of the latches weren’t working. We had to wait about 6 weeks for the new latches to arrive, which was okay with us. There have been no leaks during any rains or storms. There was only one problem with the completed work; they left so much smudge with caulking materials and fingerprints on the windows. We spent many hours cleaning off the smudges. We could clean them from the inside, but it was very hard to clean them from the outside because of the height. The main problem we had was that they had to use scaffolding to install the picture windows because it is so high from the ground. We could not easily get to the outside windows to clean them. We had to ask window washers in our condos association to pay special attention to our new window and it took him quite a while to get it clean. Part of the contract did say that they were responsible for cleaning the windows after the installation was complete. We are not sure if the smudges came from the factory or the workers. I would advise others to be sure that the workers wear gloves and make sure the windows are clean before they finish the job. Overall, the work was very good and we would recommend their services.

Ed Kennedy came out to my house for an estimate to replace front windows. Although we did not get to the point of doing business together I'd like to thank him for his honesty and candor. His advice was most helpful and I would definitely choose Pella for a future job. Thank you

I got a really great door. It is fabulous; it is the best thing in my house. I probably paid too much, but it was okay. The people who came for the installation were great. I think the price was really too high, but they did do a really good job installing it.  The price was over $4000, I think it should have been about $2000. Pella was fabulous. I would definitely use them again in the future.

There is a ten year warranty on our house. One of the windows in rotting out. They are coming out to fix it, but I don't know what will happen. They have come out and fixed a locking mechanism. We have a lot of windows that have had repairs. The guys that come out are really good. I like the service but, I wouldn't recommend the windows to anybody.

The windows that they install do not have the '350 series' which is a triple pane window. He told me they would be and told me how amazing they were. It took him awhile to get them. I guess I just assumed the one they were installing was the '350 series' since that's all he told me about. It turns out they installed a lower quality window. I did not ask for a lower quality window, I wanted the ones that I paid for. They were not installed correctly, either. There is a small amount of air that comes through when they aren't locked, the blinds don't raise correctly. I am having all kinds of trouble. I have called them many times, and continue to get the run around. Maybe they are busy, but no one has even managed to reach out to me. I'm very disappointed in my experience with them.

Great help in the show room, even better input from Nick at sales visit.  Product is excellent and installation crew was top notch.
Highly recommend using the Pella contractor, as he knew exactly how to remove old window and door and install new, including cutting tile at entry for a perfect fit.

The installers were on time, professional, helpful in explaining what they were doing and why, asked me about what preferences I had during the installation when choices had to be made.  They carefully removed the existing doors, cleaned up, installed the new doors, cleaned up and showed me how they worked (such as closers on the screen/storm door, built in/hidden roll screen).

Installation occurred over several weeks. They came to install multiple doors, but rain prevented them from installing one of the doors. They explained in detail why they could not install the one door in the rain which made it easy for me to understand why they had to come back another day to finish the job. Had they gone ahead and installed the door when it was raining, they could not have sealed it properly and neither I nor they would have been happy with the result.

The doors look great, it is clear there will be no drafts around them, the main doors are insulated and will help save energy; I'm very pleased and would go the same route again.

I tried to go through the Pella outlet in Montgomeryville but they were just so awkward to deal with that I went to another Pella outlet in Jenkintown. They seemed a little more sensible there. They came out and took measurements and I agreed with the contract. The strange part of their contract was that they wanted about 90 percent of the cost upfront. I signed the contract and they told me that it would be 5-6 weeks but they finally came out about thirteen and a half weeks later. It was the coldest day of the year. They did not do as good an installation as they should have because of the weather. They installed a door with the wrong color. The first door they put in was warped while the second door was the wrong color. The third door they brought was almost similar in color to what we wanted but we just so frustrated by that time that we decided to accept it. It was absolutely atrocious in terms of their handling the time commitment. It was very awkward to wait for them for almost two months after the due date. They had told me that they would have the job done by installers trained by Pella. I don't know what they meant by that but they just had some local contractor come out and install the door, which I could have done myself. I could have found a contractor to do the job myself. I asked the guys and they said that they did not get any special Pella training. The door is of decent quality and has been functioning well but I just could not recommend dealing with that company again. I thought that the price was extremely high. I thought that I was getting a quality door but it really wasn't a quality door.

Was looking for a top of the line window that had a classic look to fit with our house.  Also important that the window had real wood in the interior.  Pella Architect Series windows fit the bill. Pella came to the house to give estimate. Arrived on time and very professional.  Cost is in line with other top window makers.  Once contract signed it took about six weeks for window to arrive.  Installed in one day.  Very professional crew.  Placed drop cloths and did a great job of cleaning up after work was completed.  Communication throughout the process was very good.  Able to reach Pella and get a response in the same day.  Will have back again

They ended up giving us fiberglass windows instead of what we originally thought we wanted because the fiberglass was better quality saved us a lot of money as wel.  They came out, and the salesman, John, was great and professional.  He actually installed everything, and his crew and he had them all in in 2 days.  They were neat and clean, bent over backwards to make sure everything was as it should be, and we're very happy, and the windows are air-tight.

They were great. The salesman was very good. He knew his product and explained everything about it. They came at the correct time to put the window in and did a perfect job. They cleaned up after themselves. I have nothing but good to say about them. Pella windows are very expensive but they are very good. You don't have any trouble with them once they are installed. The product comes along with a warranty. What stood out about them were the promptness and the professionalism that they used in installing the window.

They were too expensive.  They did not charge us anything to do the estimate.  The sales person was very professional and that’s a plus.  The experience was good with them.  When I called one of their branches, they didn’t get back to me.  So I had to call another branch and they responded to me and they were good.  I will not consider using their services again in the future.

They were very good. My feeling was that if I was going to have somebody cut one third of my room out of my house I wanted somebody that really knew what they were doing. Doing the installation was just like clockwork. It happened to be one of the few days that it wasn't snowing. They did a beautiful job and worked around the snow. The employees were very nice. The windows are excellent and they were very professional. It turned out that it was more expensive than I thought it was going to be which was a disappointment. I don't think the salesman led me on, he was excellent but I was hoping it wasn't going to be that expensive. I really don't know how to compare the price. They did call to confirm the appointment but it was all static and I would advise them that they could work on that. I will shop around for a better price for any other windows.

The job went very smoothly. After the initial visit/consultation, we were given a date when the work was to be completed. 4 men worked on the project of taking out the old windows, and replacing them with the new ones. The job was completed on the same day. There were 2 finishing items that had to be completed, and we were given 2 dates when those items were to be attended to. Everything has been completed and we are very satisfied with the final product. The crew were very neat and did an excellent job of cleaning after themselves.
