We came back from vacation and our A/C was not working so we called for a technician to come look at our unit. He charged us 300 dollars and told us our motor was bad. The fuse was blown but he refused to change that out to see if that was just the problem so he said they would order a new motor on Monday (this was Friday night). After he left my husband ran to lowes and bought a new fuse to see if that would fix the problem. It did. The motor is completely fine, it was just a blown fuse, which we later found out there was a storm the night before so that may have been what blew it. We tried getting all or even part of our 300 dollars back since the technician did nothing and misdiagnosed the problem but they will not refund us a cent. Do not use this company if you want an honest person to do any work for you!

The technicians came out on short notice, diagnosed the problem, and resolved it very quickly. The cost was somewhat higher than I expected, but they did a thorough job and the problem was resolved to my satisfaction. They also explained the cost to me before getting started so there were no surprises. The technicians were polite and professional, and took ample cautions to reduce contact and coronavirus risk.

I highly recommend HB McClure. Today Elwood came and did routine maintenance to our water conditioning system and flushed the sediment out of our water heater. He also installed a new kitchen faucet. He was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. A year ago we had a pipe leak in our hand-dug well. The first plumbing company I called (not HB McClure) would not repair the leak, and he recommended that I have a new well installed! Thankfully I called HB McClure and they came very promptly (on a weekend) to repair the leak. Dwight & Nate repaired the pipe in our hand-dug well. Then they installed a water conditioning system. I think HB McClure could service any plumbing need that you have.

Purchase options were plentiful, which allowed us to buy softener that was perfect for our needs and home size. Once the purchase agreement was signed we were contacted within a couple days to scheduled installation. The tech, Eric, arrived on time and went over everything that he will do to install the unit. He took time to answer my questions, and ensured he didn't leave a mess behind. Very, very professional company and respectful of the homeowner. Highly recommend HB McClure to everyone in the Central PA region.

HB McClure responded to our Home Depot's work order within a couple hours of our request. i agreed to have them visit our home on a particular date and time in order to assess the situation and provide a quote. Upon my acceptance to this arrangement, they sent me confirmation via email. The day before their visit to our home, we received a phone call confirming the upcoming visit to us by Nick. On the day of our visit, Nick arrived very promptly, reviewed our work request, gave us a very reasonable quote, and performed the work. At the end of the service call, Nick informed me of McClure's other services. Nick was extremely professional. We now feel confident about having electrical and plumbing work done in the future and will definitely ask HB McClure to help us.

Service tech did a thorough job getting rid of soot buildup and replacing burner nozzle. Recommended I look into a more efficient unit. Rep will call me. Also gave me name of person to clean the outside chimney stack. Had service plan in place, didn't cost me anything.
