My call to D & D sounded like I was calling a family home rather than a business. Dominic then came promptly to look over the job and give us an estimate. He quoted us a price that was lower than the big company's price. We knew what to ask--like about the finish existing on the floor and the products he would use--from that other estimate. Dominic was willing to follow the directions of the homeowner whereas the big company took charge and told me how to go about doing the job. The start date was delayed because of mis-communication but then Dominic made up the time and finished when he said he would. He was thorough, polite, true to his word, and no frills. We are pleased with the results and with spending less to have our floors refinished.

Dominick is a great guy, who quoted us a very reasonable price, and did not waver from the estimate even when the job proved larger than he had originally thought. He was prompt in returning our calls, and even came out to Home Depot to meet us (late at night) when we had a question about moldings. The whole project took about a week and a half, mostly because, as I mentioned, the job was more of a process than he had thought.
