I contacted 6 or so contractors by email or their internet web page over the weekend to give me an estimate for a Mitsubishi Split-type Air Conditioner (Cooling and Heating unit) for my 3 car garage. Mike was the first to call me back at 8 AM the following Monday morning. We scheduled an appointment the same day and he showed up on time and gave me an estimate.
After later talking to another contractor I learned that the unit Mike quoted was not the exact one I had in mind, so I asked him to amend his bid so that I could compare apples-to-apples. Mike complied quickly and his price was a couple of hundred dollars better. I waited about a week to get the other bids, which turned out to be a waste of time. A couple of contractors tried to sell me gas only units over the phone, without even coming out, even though I was specific that I wanted the Mitsubishi unit because of recommendations I received and research I did. The others that came out and quoted on the same unit were all higher. One tried to up-sell me to a bigger model with more capacity than I needed.
So I scheduled the job with Motta Heating and Air Conditioning. I was asked for a 50% deposit, which I made via credit card so that they would order the unit. Within 2 weeks they called me to arrange the installation a couple of days later. The installers showed up right on time (7:15 AM), and were done by noon. They were friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. The installation went very smoothly, and the installers cleaned up completely. The installation was top-notch, and I am very pleased with the unit so far.
I would highly recommend (Mike) Motta Heating and Air Conditioning, and would certainly use him again.

Very professional. Completed the job in a timely fashion. Good Clean up. Very good at providing recommendations to economize on the heat and distribute the heat evenly throughout to accommodate the high ceilings.
