The 3 gentlemen from Crouse arrived right on time. They were very friendly, very polite, hard-working, VERY CAREFUL with Mom's furniture. They were such a good team, working well together, and listening to us as we explained how we wanted items placed in the storage unit. We stood by shrugging our shoulders with nothing to do as these guys took care of everything! We will most definitely use them again.

This is the second time I used Crouse. I didn't even bother getting any other estimates. My move was small and ended up taking about 3 and 1/2 hours. The guys were on time, friendly and easy to work with. I am glad I used Crouse again. As with the first time, my move was easy because of them.

I can't say enough about what a great experience we just had with Crouse Moving. They worked tirelessly yesterday and today to move my family out of one house and into another. From the original phone and email conversations, to the estimate (which was spot on), to the moving, everyone we have dealt with has been professional and personable. The moving crew was careful, quick, and efficient; when I was tired and hot from just watching, they just kept moving. I highly recommend them.

Crouse showed up on time, and came ready to work. They got started right away after we said our hello's and worked nonstop, without complaining the entire time. Getting furniture out of my townhouse is difficult as you have to go down a long hall way and down two flights of stairs to get to the outside, where you then have to walk a little farther to get to the parking lot where the truck was parked. I was surprised that two people would even be able to complete the work with all the heavy lifting required, but they did. They packed all my stuff into a 16' truck which is amazing. We took a 1 hour drive to the new location and they immediately unpacked, politely declined any offers for breaks / drinks etc in order to get done as soon as possible. Nothing was broken or damaged in the move. I would highly recommend Crouse moving to anyone looking for guys that know what they are doing and are professional, and nice to talk to as well. Price was fair especially compared to some of the competition and the travel costs that some charge.

They made themselves available at short notice, showed up as promised, moved fast without dilly dallying, boxed files, brought their own boxes at no extra charge, and returned two days later to finish after it started to rain late in the day. I was surprised it cost so little in comparison to other service providers involved in the move. For instance, it cost less than half as much to move my office files and furniture, including heavy desks to a second floor office (no elevator), than it cost to move weightless digital data to a new network. This was by far the best bang for my buck.

I have used other movers in the past and there was always hidden costs. Either the moving trucks were not large enough so the workers wasted time packing like a puzzle, or they took too many smoking breaks on my dime.

Not this outfit. They were fast, punctual and very reasonably priced.

When it came time to move in with my fiancee I was debating hiring professionals or going the old route of asking friends and family with pickup trucks. We knew that since this was a relatively small job we might have a hard time finding movers that were motivated to take the job and with the other companies that was exactly what we found. We had an extremely hard time even getting other companies to call us back. Crouse was different than everyone else though, they were more than happy to come out, look at my stuff and give me a written estimate. The woman I spoke with who coordinated everything (can't remember her name at the moment) was phenomenal; 8AM or 8PM she answered every email and phone call I sent her, was quick, knowledgeable and extremely flexible with move dates and even followed up when I didn't respond to an email she sent me. The movers where friendly and professional, showed up on time the day of the move, disassembled and reassembled furniture, wrapped everything in plastic and set down blankets on the carpet when it started to rain and completed everything within the estimated time.
Overall I was very pleased and extremely happy I hired Crouse, they made moving as painless as possible and I've already recommended them to my neighbor!

I provided a list of my possessions to the estimator and she responded with an estimate. Normally they travel to the location, but since I lived two hours away that was not practical. We exchanged emails and talked on the phone. The process was easy. We ended up agreeing on a flat rate for convenience sake for both of us.
Crouse was flexible as far as date, since I wasn't sure exactly when I would be moving. When the date I wanted was not available they moved me on a Sunday for no extra charge.
The two movers showed up right on time and carefully but efficiently moved all of my belongings. They were friendly, professional, and respectful of my property. Anything that needed to be taken apart, they took apart. Anything that needed wrapping for protection, they wrapped.
They put everything where I wanted, and even tightened the legs on my desk (without my asking.) They also put my bed together for me. When I decided I wanted a piece of furniture moved to a different location, they did it without complaining and then agreed it looked better in the new place. (I am sure they were humoring me.)
The entire move, including driving between locations, took about 5 hours. Factor in another 2 hours to drive from the Main Line to my old location.
I know it is very hard to find good movers, so that is why I am taking the time to point these folks out. Crouse generally focuses on the Main Line area, but if you are willing to pay for the travel time, they will come out to other parts of the state.
