Twice over the last year I have contacted this company about plumbing repairs, and never received a return call either time.

Steve came out that afternoon. He was very accommodating. I was concerned about cutting a hole in the ceiling. I thought perhaps it was a leak around the toilet ring. He stated he didn't think so but was willing to check that first. He tried to come up with alternative to cutting the ceiling including going in from a bedroom wall. I had some pictures from when we built the house. He was able to find the picture where the pipe was. In the end it was necessary & less invasive to cut into the ceiling. He laid down a tarp under the ladder. Steve did an awesome job cutting the smallest hole possible. There were electrical wires in the ceiling which he was able to avoid. He immediately found the leak on a water line going to the bathtub. He was able to cut the pipe and refit a new piece. He then vacuumed and cleaned up under the hole. Awesome job. We were very pleased with quick response time, the professional job determining the cause of the leak, fixing it and cleaning up after the job. Perfect. Thank you, Steve

Steve always showed up on time and did a great job. I had to take 2 of the toilets I bought at Home Depot back because the tanks leaked and he had to come back and I learned I should have had them buy the toilet! I would use again in a heartbeat but sadly moved out of the area.

Espenshades came to my home to provide a cost estimate on the same day I contacted them, and arranged for quick installation so the work could be completed before an upcoming holiday. Price was significantly less than competitors for similar quality product (Rheem). The work was a fairly standard task. I was satisfied with all aspects of the work...timely response, quality hardware, proficiency of technicians, clean-up of work area.

The price included the bathtub, installation and patching of drywall. Ken is a very friendly and appears to work efficiently. The job was completed in ~7 hours and Ken returned ~3 days later to apply a second coat of drywall mud. I did the demolition and removal of the old tub prior to installation. Espensade's plumbing inspected the tub meticulously prior to installation to ensure no cosmetic or structural deviations. West Shore Bath quoted us $7000, and another local plumbing co quoted us $4200. We will continue to use Esphshades for everything an entry level DIY can't do.

All went well. It took longer than normal to get the work scheduled due to emergencies and jobs that needed immediate attention. Nothing we needed done was that important. When we have had an emergency in the past, they came immediately.

The leak was repaired properly. I can always rely on Espanshades to complete the job correctly.

Espenshades Plumbing and Heating is truly amazing. I called after hours and I received a call back the same night. They were out the next morning diagnosing the problem and working on a fix but the issue was more involved than what I realized when I alled them. They came back the next morning to finish up because they had to cut into the sewer line. The following morning we had another leak in our house and they came right out and fixed that one. The responsiveness to my messages was very fast, the service was very fast and as far as I am concerned their pricing is fabulous compared to other plumbers we have used at other houses we have owned. I was truly amazed. I had water dripping in my house and they took that very seriously and did not make we wait. I could not be more satisfied. I have already handed out their name to my old neighbor. No one should hesitate to call Espenshades Plumbing and Heating.

There had been an on-again-off-again sewer odor in the bathroom for several months now. The plumber from Espenshade's figured out the problem quickly. By removing the toilet, then replacing the seal where it connects to the outflow pipe, he solved the problem. We have used Espenshade's for many years now. They have always responded promptly and done a good job for a fair price. We'll continue using them.

After 40 years of use, the main bathroom in our raised ranch house needed remodeling and a complete overhaul. Espenshades Plumbing had previously remodeled and upgraded the master bath in this house several years prior. Because of their excellent performance and track record, we contracted with them again and without fail they did another superb job. Overall, this project went smoothly without any major faults or delays; they were the first people in onsite and the last ones out when the project was completed. After the design plans were set, all selected material and new bathroom fixtures were ordered and received prior to the project start date. Espenshades Plumbing managed the entire project: assisted in design planning, ordered and purchased all the material and bath fixtures (faucets, shower unit assemblies, grab bars, glass doors, toilet etc.); They coordinated the work schedule for the painter and the tiling workmen company so that there were no gaps in the daily work schedule. On site they performed all the plumbing readiness tasks, did electrical work and installed all the new bathroom fixtures and new lighting we wanted. Workmanship was superior; carpets in the main part of the house were covered to avoid tracking dirt from outside the house, work area was clean and organized each day at quitting time, curtain was hung in bathroom door way to minimize dirt/dust extending to other part of the house. The old fiber glass shower stall was taken out and the area was converted to a walk-in shower stall. The floor, walls and ceiling were framed and made ready for ceramic tile. Their master plumber began by taking out the old shower stall and fixtures, cutting/installing the cement board for tiling, built the frame for the shower door threshold, installed the lining for the floor drain, built the frame for the shower bench seat, upgraded the drain plumbing to 2 inch PCV pipe to the main outlet in the basement, added wall studs support beams for grab bars. Espenshades installed eyeball lights in the shower ceiling and wiring which connected to separate dimmer switches; previous work they installed a bathroom exhaust fan. The above phase one took approx. four days to complete. Once this work was completed the shower and bathroom area was ready for phase two; that being, ceramic tile installation for the shower walls, floor and ceiling of the shower area and tiling the four bathroom walls for the tiling company workmen to perform their work. Once the tile and floor covering work was completed, Espenshades master plumber returned for phase three; to install and connect plumbing fixtures, install internal shelves, grab bars, the shower glass door frame needed to complete the project and ready the shower for daily use. I would highly recommend Espensahes to anyone who needs plumbing related services big or small, especially bathroom remakes and upgrades. More impressive is that they help with design ideas an procure fixtures on your behalf. They provide a project estimate in sufficient detail to know the total coast of labor, and materials. When the project is complete they provided a invoice that includes a detailed list of all on site man hours involved and a itemized list of all materials and supplies that were used in the project work for your review and compare to the approved estimate. Project price which included cost of selected bathroom fixtures and projected man hours was acceptable, indeed very reasonable for the high quality of work and the superior workmanship. You will certainly be pleased and totally satisfied when you select Espenshade's for your plumbing needs.

I was given a start date and the men were there on time and ready to work. They laid tarps and runners and were very conscientious about keeping the dirt and dust confined to the work area. Jim Dodson, the estimator, checked in several times and explained any problems or concerns with the job. The walls around the area where the tub was removed and the area behind the old mirror had to be skim coated and you cannot tell where this repair work occured. I had problems with a toilet in a second bath and they took care of that while working on the bath remodel. I am very pleased with my new bathroom and will recommend Espenshades to friends and family.

Work was performed on time and final result was very satisfactory. They cleaned everything up after the work was completed, and the work was done correctly and neatly.

Espenshade's was recommended to us by our neighbor. I called two companies for estimates. Espenshade's called me back within 2 hours of leaving a message. It took the other company over a week to return my call. An appointment was scheduled for 7:00 AM the following day for the owner to come out and assess the problem (they accommodated my work schedule). He arrived promptly at 7:00 and my big dogs didn't seem to bother him. He came in and took a look at what we had. The first thing he told me was the unit we had was old and needed to be replace because of the noise it made when running. It sounded like a whale call. In addition, it wasn't the correct size, we needed a bigger unit. He also made some recommendations with how the plumbing should have been installed to the unit and how our ultra violet light plumbing should be changed as not to damage the casing when changing the bulb, which if broken would cost more money. An appointment was scheduled for that Friday for the work to be completed by his son and an helper. They came Friday on time and proceeded to complete the work. They were very thorough and very clean. They performed everything that was discussed and then some. They even changed the plumbing to our filter. They tested our water several times to make sure our pH level was were it needed to be. No more green stains in our sinks or toilets! I would definitely recommend them and will have them come back on a yearly basis to service my equipment.

Excellent. Espenshade is 1) local, 2) small and 3) family-run. All things I look for in a contractor. Options presented and estimating process were right on the mark. They were timely, polite and good at what they do. When a post-installation issue arose with water flow, they returned promtly, disgnosed the problem as some sort of installation residue in the valve, and flushed out the obstruction quickly. We love our new shower! Should have done it years ago.

They are regular plumbers, and they do very good work. They provide good service. They are also responsive and trustworthy.

They are very good at what they do. They are reasonably priced also. We had a quote from someone else before they came out and they were almost twice the more. Our overall experience with them has been good.

Although they were unable to help with my electrical problem, they were very friendly and gave me the name of another person who would be able to do the job. I appreciated that.
