IT TOOK TWO HOURS FOR THE WORK TO BE COMPLETED. THEY RESEALED ALL OF THE DOORS AND STOPPED A LEAK FROM THE PREVIOUS OLD DOOR. THEY ORDERED THE DOOR AND IT WAS DELIVERED AND INSTALLED ON TIME.

Overall I was a little disappointed with the experience with Matus. It took a little long to get all the supplies in before they could do the work and then we scheduled the work three weeks out from there. On the day the work was to be performed, I had to call the office. It turns out we were not put on the scheduled. the good part of this is that they do not use sub-contractors and they had a team in the area that they were able to send over right away. All that being said, the day of the work the men who came were professional and polite and cleaned up great! I will use Matus to finish the job.

Alex responded and came quickly to provide an estimate (email and hard copy), and revised the estimate to accomodate changes promptly. The doors are custom manufactured, so lead time was about 6 wks, and they were more expensive than what you find in Home Depot, etc. The installer came and installed with no problems.

Company is listed as being approx. 14+ miles from my home. No notation was evident that they do not perform work in this area. When I called to ask about a visit, I received a rather curt, irritated reply from the woman who answered the phone that my home was too far away for them. Strike one for customer relations. Matus should make clear what their service radius is--and then send their receptionist to a PR/customer relations training course. Business must be exceptionally good for such arrogance.

WE DO TAKE YOUR COMMENTS SERIOUSLY AND WILL ENDEAVER TO DO A BETTER JOB OF PROVIDING CUSTOMER SERVICE WITH INITIAL PHONE CALLS. OUR RECEPTIONIST HAS BEEN INSTRUCTED TO REFER CALLS SIMILAR TO YOURS TO ALEX MATUS OR ONE OF THE ESTIMATORS."

I am extremely happy with the doors, both in function and appearance. They were expensive but very solid, and I was able to choose 3 different styles and colors for the 3 doors. The salesman arranged for one of the doors to be made a little bit different from the model. It took 3 months from the day the salesman came to measure to delivery and installation. The installer was meticulous in making a tight fit for each of the doors.

ALTHOUGH I LIKED MATTUS' PROMPT RESPONSE, I GAVE THE JOB TO ANOTHER COMPANY FOR A COUPLE OF REASONS: (1)THEY BROUGHT A WINDOW TO SHOW ME AND EXPLAINED ITS VARIOUS FEATURES, AND (2)THEY GAVE A LIFETIME TRANSFERABLE WARRANTY ON MATERIALS AND LABOR.
