 + 0 moreMaria was EXCELLENT! She toured our property with us and listened to our ideas. We don't have a big property and we don't have green thumbs. She then made suggestions and recommendations. Our biggest concerns she was able to address. We wanted a very low maintenance garden, privacy, and year round color or greenary. We are in our first year of having our new garden and it's better than expected. Thanks Maria! John+ Monica
Description of Work: Drafted a set of plans for our landscape (trees, shrubs, flowers, etc)) and hardscape (patio, stepping stones & fence). She also provided us with a 3-ring binder which contained an annual maintenance plan for each and every plant, a description & picture of the plant, and watering guide.

 + -1 moreOwner Maria Hasenecz was on site at least part of the time every day that work took place on my garden. She spent a great deal of time on the design of the garden; her design took into account the vagaries of our front yard and our tastes in plants and garden styles. The plan included a detailed sketch, photographs and scientific names of all the plants, and thorough descriptions of the work to be done. The finished garden is breathtaking--neighbors are constantly stopping by to tell us how beautiful it is. She left extensive instructions on how to take care of the garden.
Description of Work: Livable Landscapes dug a pond in my irregularly-shaped, shady front yard, installing a pump, filtration system, waterfall, and a variety of waterplants and koi. They also put in a variety of shade-loving plants and miniature trees and ornamental grasses, turning a weedy, uninteresting yard into a restful oasis.
