Everlasting Fence Co

Called back to secure a top area that  was never secured and that had fallen inside  Everlasting later installed copper cap posts with trim that is now falling off. Trim was glued but never nailed to posts. Have hired carpenter to repair some trim and secure a second area of the fence that was pulling away from a support post. 
I expected more durability than what is occurring in this span of nine years. 

They arrived around 8 or 9 and got right to work and they were finished by about 2pm. I moved a lot of plants in advance but even the ones I left behind were in good shape. The work wasn't nearly as damaging to the garden as I was prepared for it to be and there was no mess left behind. I did not rate the price because I was lazy and only got one quote. 

The salesman, Erik, was efficient and pleasant, and gave the estimate on the spot.  After some emailed questions to clarify details about having the fence pre-stained before assembly, we sent the contract and deposit check, along with a confirming email and message through Angie's list.  We heard nothing back except a message through Angie's list that "Your order is being processes." I emailed again asking about scheduling, heard nothing.  Finally I called, 9 days after I mailed the check, and found that receipt of my check had not put our job on the schedule, we were starting from square one and it would be 3 weeks before they could do the work.  The man I spoke with wasn't very nice, acting as though it was ridiculous of me to think that them receiving a contract and check would mean that they would contact me to schedule the work.  It doesn't make you feel good about a company when someone acts like your business is an imposition instead of something they are pleased to get, but we went ahead and scheduled the work. 

Three weeks later a truck arrived with the fence sections.  They were not pre-stained, as stated in the contract.  The man said it was too late in the fall for staining, so they could put up the fence and then come back in the spring to stain it.  That wasn't what we had agreed on (having chosen them over another company partly because they said they could pre-stain), and we didn't want it to go through the winter unprotected, so we told him to cancel the order.  Eric arranged a prompt refund of our deposit.

These guys were professional, thorough and we are amazed with the results. We would use them again and several people walking by asked the for business cards.

It was alright. There were just some imperfections in it. They're very prompt and very polite. They were fine.

I called several companies and contractors to get estimates for installing this fence. Everlasting Fence was by far the most responsive and professional of the bunch. They were quick to answer my inquiry and made it easy to schedule the appointment. On the day of the appointment they arrived on the dot, immediately understood exactly what I wanted, proposed a few good solutions to the problem of working around the existing iron railing, and outlined my choices for the type of fence to install. Their website has photographs of all the different fence styles available, including capping and posts, which was incredibly helpful. They also brought a paper copy of the same portfolio when they met me to do the estimate. Why every company doesn't do this? It seems like an no-brainer. Their estimate was a bit higher than the others, but I chose them anyway simply because they were the most competent and trustworthy.
On the day of the installation, Everlasting was again right on time and did great work. There was a minor scare when it looked like the fence might not fit around a new downspout I had just put in, but they managed to solve that problem too. The final cost was exactly what they estimated. 
After they left, I noticed there was a thin (2" wide) strip of wood needed in the section where the fence changed heights from 6' to 4'. It wasn't a big deal, but it created a slight gap in the fence when looked at from a certain angle. I asked them to fix it, figuring it would probably be very, very low on their priority list, given that I'd already paid them in full. In fact, I wasn't sure they'd even bother. But they came by the next week and fixed it perfectly. I was very impressed. The fence looks fantastic and has gotten a lot of compliments from my neighbors. I would definitely recommend Everlasting.

The installation was completed quickly.  The men were extremely professional. 

Install went well.  Observed the workers meticulously checking layout lines and plumb of support posts while installing.  Posts sunk nice and deep, a very sturdy, quality installation performed as scheduled (discounting weather delay) and as expected.  Estimator missed a small section of fence, and although I emailed about it, he was confused and though I was referring to a different section when he agreed it was included.  When install time came, the confusion was discovered, but as it was obvious that area was intended to be fenced in, they installed at no additional charge.  Wouldn't hesitate to use again or recommend.

The installers made sure to install it close to the ground to keep out rabbits. They worked with me to have the gate open in the most
convenient way (I pretended to be carrying a lot of things in my left hand with my right hand free). They were very professional and very nice.

While they were not ultimately selected, they were extremely professional, courteous and helpful with our organization's project.  Ken showed up on a cold snowy Sunday afternoon at the baseball field (covered in snow!) to walk through what we wanted.  He responded quickly to emails and phone calls and was very professional.  I would definitely seek them out for future fencing needs.

Arrived on time ,removed old fence and poured concrete footers for new. Followed surveyors marks , secured neighbor's puppy while fence being replaced. Returned the next day to place fencing.

They came to the house to discuss the project.  They finished the fence within the time and price they estimated.  Initially the latch on the gate was not fitting properly, but when I called them they came right out and repaired it.

We got several quotes for a railing for the front steps of my elderly parents' house. I made sure I was at the house for all of the estimates, although I was out of town when the actual work was done. We chose Everlasting Fence, who came to us out of their Parkesburg, PA office. The man who came to make the estimate was also the man who would be doing the actual work. We liked him; he seemed mature and professional. So, even though they were not the cheapest of the estimates we received, we went with Everlasting. The work was done, I came home from my trip, and went over to my parents' house to inspect the new railing. I was astonished to find: places where the paint had been stripped away because of over-tightening of screws, scratches, gouges, other mars in the finish that had been crudely touched up with a different color of paint, and at least one place where sharp bits of metal were in danger of cutting someone badly depending on where they placed their hands on the railing. It seemed odd to me that they couldn't install their own product without ruining it! I called the office to complain, but mistakenly ended up calling the Glenside, PA office. There, I spoke with Eric, who was one of the managers or owners (not sure) of that office. Thank goodness I got him! Eric came out, inspected the work, and told us he was going to have it completely redone. The Glenside office came quickly, and did the work professionally and very well. So I'd have to say that my estimate is tempered by the Jekyll & Hyde nature of the work: Parkersburg branch of the company: not recommended. Glenside branch: highly recommended. I tried to balance my "Overall" and "Quality" scores to reflect that one office was very good while the other was average to fair.

Everlasting Fence was great.  The work was done by the owner and his son, both of whom worked in a cold, pouring rain to get the job done.  It wasn't a big job but it couldn't get done in one day.  The owner said his son would be back on Saturday to complete the work and he showed up and finished.  I would highly recommend Everlasting.  The fence is beautiful!

They did a great job. Not super fast but I wasn't paying by the hour so I didn't care. Neighbors all very impressed.

The sales rep came to the house and gave me a quote. The price was good, and I accepted the quote on the spot. I gave the sales rep a deposit check and he told me the job would be scheduled within two days. I didn't hear from anyone, so finally called the office number a week later. The office had no record of my quote or deposit. Instead of researching it, they told me to call the sale rep and follow up. It turned out he had never turned the paperwork in to the office. Once that was straightened out, the installation was scheduled for 10 days later.
The installers arrived as scheduled and the fence looks great.
