Gary was very responsive to my initial phone call and throughout the entire process.( He personally answered his phone when I called him) After he evaluated the current state of my roof, he completely explained the entire process and what I could expect. He was extremely easy to deal with and I felt his proposal provided high quality product at a reasonable cost. The workmen worked very efficiently and kept the work site spotless. The roof looks great! I would give the highest recommendation to Ireland Construction, without any reservation.

Gary is incredibly responsive and a pleasure to work with.  A portion of the project was covered by the one-year home warranty and Gary went out of his way to speak with the insurer, which was certainly appreciated.



This was, on a relative basis, a fairly small project for him but he made it a priority and did a great job.  Gary's crew was at it first thing in the morning, was very nice to speak with and the yard was left spotless.  We will be looking to Gary here in the next few years when it is time re-do the entire roof.

Were timely and professional. Covered shrubs and plants to protect them. Cleaned up at end of day 1 and at at final conclusion of job on day 2. Barely took a lunch break, worked almost continuously to get job done in the estimated 2 days for the project. Very hard workers.

Supervisor stopped by periodically. Stopped by about 1.5 hrs before job was completed. I offered to give him a check for the job. He said he would come back again after the job was totally done and all cleanup was completed. He would not accept a check until everything was done to be sure I was satisfied.I was very impressed by that.

We would definitely recommend them to everyone. They did a great job!!

It took a while to match up the shingles and Gary had to make 2 trips.  We couldn't find the original information on the color and I believe it has been discontinued. 

Gary matched the colore perfectly and we are very happy with his work and best of all,  the roof doesn't leak now!

The roof looks great, and has been holding up under heavy rain, etc.  They were done with the job in 3 days.  The crew was excellent about cleaning up.  I had one issue with the leak repair for the porch still leaking a small amount, and they sent somebody out after one phone call.

Ireland came promptly the next day to review and repair the damage to our roof.  We called on a Wednesday and they were out to our house 8:00am the next day.  They were very professional and provided an estimate for a new roof when we required one in the future.  Left us with samples and information on the material and warranty on the products that they use.  We would use them again on future jobs and would refer them to others.

We had several people give us estimates for a new roof and quickly narrowed our choices down to two by price, perceived quality and communication then chose Ireland.   We debated between two colors.  Roman gave us addresses of houses that had those  colors on the roofs and we drove around looking at the two colors.  We are really pleased with the color we picked.  We've had some good rains and no problems.
The work took two days.  They were respectful of our property and the cleanup was good.  They put a truck in our driveway instead of a dumpster that might have damaged the driveway.
When it was time to pay them, I pulled an estimate (theirs) from our file and wrote a check.  Several days later, Gary, the owner, called and said that some work had not been done and they'd be by to finish it.   As it turned out, we had elected not to have that done and Roman stopped by and gave us a check for $1,000.  How's that for integrity?

Gary (owner) cam out promptly; he diagnosed and repaired the problem quickly using nails and caulking. He was fast, courteous, and efficient. He squeezed me in and came out when no one else in the area could be bothered with such a small job. I would recommend this company to friends and neighbors and use him again when the time comes.

I thought it was important to provide feedback on Ireland Contracting. The level of service that Roman and the guys provided was top notch. From day 1 Roman at Ireland took his job seriously and provided an unsurpassed level of service. He was prompt, timely and clear with all of his appointments and conversations. The started the job on the day they said they would and finished within the time they provided. The crew that did the work was professional, polite and very good at what they did. This was a big job for me and it was a very pleasant experience. Finally, the roof looks great and I am one happy customer. Thanks guys and gals at Ireland.

I noticed a roof leak following a recent storm.  Gary scheduled a time to stop out the following morning to assess the situation.  Gary was on-time and exteramly friendly while surveying the roof.  He patched 2 spots that were casuing issue and a week laterit appears to have fixed the problem.  He suggested that my roof is at the end of its useful life and likely needing to be replaced in the near future.  I will absolutely call him again when I'm ready to replace the roof.

Excellent job, I actually have 2 homes I had Ireland Contracting put new roofs on..

I would not hesitate to recommend or use the company again.

Friendly, excellent service and also did a great job on both homes...

The company has done several homes in my area so I had many references to

go by when I selected them.

I thought there was an issue at one of my houses and they were quick to respond.

Regarding the issue, it was my error and there was no issue at all but I appreciated

the fact they took the time to check it out.

Gary was very responsive. He quickly called me back and arranged to meet with me as he circled back toward his home at the end of the day. He arrived on time. We both went up to the roof and then inspected the attic. He cleared the roof as being fine, but noted that the chimney had some loose mortar which was likely causing the water leak.  Since this was a job I am capable of doing, no quote or work was involved. 
I was glad to have found Gary on Angie's List, as we had some difficulty finding roofing contractors that would take the time to return phone calls and show up for appointments. Based on my experience with Gary and reading over his reviews, I would indeed consider using him in the future and would recommend him.

It worked for a while and then it started leaking again. It wasn't suppose to be a permanent job, just a temporary fix.

The leak was on a low slope roof and we were not able to address the leak. The roof needed to be replaced. The home owner mentioned that they were repairing the leak because they were selling the home. Gary instructed them that the roof needed replaced. He also addressed the leak the best that he could in an attempt to stop the leak. The home owner was not charged for the service, given that we were unable to perform any. Thank you again for the feedback, and we hope that you were able to solve the issue without further complication Ireland contracting."

We called other roofers but they never showed up for appointments or kept canceling. He came on the day he said he would and was on time. He was friendly, polite and very professional. He gave us a quick estimate and when he could do the work.
We called him a few times with more questions and he answered them honestly.
We were concerned about the underlying roof and the need to replace some wood. He came back to look in the attic and assured us that the underlining wood structure was good.
One other quote we got was almost double his quote. His quote was more reasonable for a roof our size. We went with him.
He did a wonderful job. The yard was left clean and free of any debris. The roof looked great. There were no added charges to the bill. 
We would not hesitate to recommend him. We have had roofs replaced before and this one was easy, trouble free and unstressfull.

Gary Ireland was very helpful and listed to my explanation of the new leak.  He looked over the roof, sealed up a couple of areas where the leak may have originated. I was very happy with his service and asked him to provide me with an estimate for a new roof. I look forward to seeing him and his crew again soon with a truck-full of new shingles.
