Brad R. runs this company and is an exceptional painter. He takes a professional approach, sets up pricing and timeframe and lives up to it. He and his team painted my 3400 square foot home with very high ceilings, combining paint colors to make an exceptional new color that looked so beautiful. He has also painted my townhome and recently painted my new french patio doors. He is exceptionally talented, suggesting areas for improvement. He treats his clients really well, and is friendly and nice. Watching him is interesting in how he perfectly ensures that paint is properly applied, and is not getting on anything - he doesn't miss any area. He has taught me a lot about painting. His pricing is good and he deserves that and more. I've passed his name to others and they really enjoy the beauty he creates in their home. This is Brad phone number 6102024165

For the most part, the job started out well and as expected.  Our house was empty as we had just purchased it, making things easier.   We also had asked Brad if we could delay the painting of the kitchen, dining room and two bedrooms so we could finalize our paint color selection.  He agreed and we assured him we would make that decision rather quickly.
The quality of the closet, ceiling and painting in the hallways, living room and main bedroom overall was good.  The paint job for the exterior of the door however was sloppy with noticeable paint on most of the window panes.  When we pointed that out to Brad, he rather gruffly dismissed us and said 'that's how painting is done' to prevent future chipping.  (This statement was roundly dismissed by another painter we contacted afterwards).  The crew also did not paint the sidelights and when we pointed that out, with a very unprofessional attitude, said that the crew would 'eat' the cost of doing it when they finished the job.
We paid (in cash) for the work that was done in 'phase 1.'  We thought the amount we paid for this first phase was in excess of the percentage of the job completed, but we paid it since he assured us that the remainder of the job as detailed in the estimate would be covered by the final payment.
One week later, after deciding on our paint colors, we tried to contact Brad but after an initial text indicating he would get back in touch with the dates for finishing the job, he never did.  Despite multiple phone calls and text messages over nearly three weeks, he did not get back in touch and essentially abandoned the job and his commitment to complete it.  In the end, with the help of family members, we finished the job ourselves.  What was particularly frustrating and disappointing about this experience is that we were unable to unpack our belongings in multiple rooms of the house, making it particularly challenging with our two year old.  My wife, who is pregnant, also ended up having to paint a fair bit and deal with hours of paint fumes.
In the end, this is more a reflection of the unprofessionalism of Brad and the company than the crew who actually did the painting.

Brad Rankin and his team painted the entire 3500 sq. feet of our house plus the Garage. They were very professional. Brad's wife was extremely good at making color suggestions and did an amazing job on faux painting our powder room.
Brad went above and beyond and put stripes in our kids room and was also very courteous in managing workflow to minimize inconvenience during the whole operation.

Brad is very friendly and trustworthy. I don't hesitate to leave them alone in the house to do their work. I have done this a number of times. Brad is always on time. He comes out and gives an estimate before doing the work. His whole crew is nice and polite, and clean up after themselves very well.

I paid for two coats of paint and received only one.  Sloppy, paint spilled on carpet, fixtures, floor and not cleaned up.  Did not use tape for trim.  Used tape in corners and painted over it.  Did not handle nail pops properly.  Painted over hooks and nails in the wall from previous owner.  Never finished the job - left my garage half-painted and one wall in my third bedroom half-finished.  Horrible Horrible.  Do not trust them. I called about the mistakes and Brad said he would come back and finish the job; he never did because he already had my money.
