Pat is extremely professional and does great quality work for the fairest possible prices. Wow. Just can not say enough good things about the number of different repairs and upgrades he can do in really challenging circumstances to an older home (circa 1928). And Pat is completely trustworthy, he never overstates what it will take to do a job, gives you a range of ideas and options for the work and confirms exactly what you want done and how before proceeding. This set of jobs (buyer requests based on home sale inspection), took 3 days total and came in under budget. Pat was great too about working around my schedule and making sure I suffered as few interruptions and inconvenience due to needed power outages. Whatever you need done - call Pat, you will be really happy with the results!

Patrick came to the house to check why the front lamp post was not working. This is his second trip for work at my house. After the first job, it was an easy call to have him back. A short time after arrival, the problem was found . Years back, before we bought the house, some nit-wit did a Micky Mouse amateur wiring job hooking the light up.The wire was about 3 inches deep and shorted out. Pat deemed it unsafe and dangerous, and disconnected the whole mess. After a short talk, a solar light was the least expensive option. The cost of trenching a new line underground was just not worth it to me. Patrick is very reliable and up front with honest information.

Mr Higgins was very polite, professional, and clean during the entire job. Also, the price was well within reason. I have another job that just popped up and wll not hesitate to contact him. A good find!

We were working with a general contractor to figure out options for a Master Bath remodel. The general contractor recommended and purchased the unit, but then left it to Pat Higgins to do the actual install. It was a beast of a job. But Pat was amazing, he got the fan located exactly where we wanted it. Got the three-way light switch in a perfect location for us. Everything was clean, pristine and working perfectly at the end of the job. And he was completely focused to get the job done as quickly and professionally as possible. At the end of the day, there was NO WAY he charged us everything he should have for his time and labor. The quality of his work and his integrity are both exceptional.

When we switched internet/cable providers, the phone jacks were not hooked up. I later discovered the needed to be active to be able to use a fax for work. It is 75 year old house, so can be quite challenging to figure out the best wiring options. Pat is amazing!!!!! He figured out the situation with a range of possible solutions. He provided options and recommended what would best meet my needs for the least cost. He had the work done quickly including the install of a brand new phone jack to be able to put the fax exactly it would be most useful. He went above and beyond getting all my systems up and running and making sure everything was completely working, usable, and clean before he left. His work and work ethic are so exemplary. Pat Higgins is my first call or e-mail with any "Can you . . " questions in this old house.
