We had a tree that was decaying and leaning toward our home. Rob came and gave me an estimate on taking it down, inspected my other trees and recommended some additional measures. The work was scheduled in a timely manner. The crew arrived as scheduled and completed the work. They cleared and chipped debris and cleaned up the area. One fellow even re-hung my bird feeders and raked up some of the leaves in my yard while he was waiting for the other guys to finish up.

They did a fine job and the price was reasonable. They also cleared all debris from my yard.

Davey was very responsive, sent someone out to do the estimate right away. They told me that there would be a 4-6 week wait because of the time of year. After about four weeks, someone came and took down the trees, cleaned up and left the stumps. About 10 days later, the stump grinder came and finished the job. Overall it was a positive experience.

Rob was very helpful. We contacted him and he responded very quickly to see what we needed. He suggested we have a plan before we had the property cleared. He was able to recommend someone to help us with that and we couldn't be happier with the result.

Very nice to work with -- they gave me an estimate approximately a week after I had called them initially and then scheduled/performed the job 3 weeks after that. Estimate emailed to me as a .PDF file. It is in your best interest to arrange to be present at home when they show up for the job on the scheduled date. The on-site folks were pretty good -- the only caveat is that you need to do a walk-through with them at least an hour before they are supposedly finished to make sure all your trees are done to your satisfaction. I had to point out things that they had missed and they had no hesitation in taking care of those for me.

The service was performed in two stages. The first was the tree pruning and removal. This service was performed quickly and as requested. The service men were courteous and respectful. The second stage was the stump removal which was performed the next day. The technician that performed the stump removal was very accommodating and made sure that a wide area that contained multiple little roots was removed cleanly. A 5% discount was granted for mentioning Angie's List.

Rob was very knowledgeable and personable. His quote seemed fair and he was willing to negotiate. Everyone that I dealt with at Arborel were professional and polite. They did a fantastic job of the actual work and the cleanup as well. I would highly recommend this company.

Did a great job. Unknown to us or Arborel, the trunk had been filled with concrete/rebar which complicated things a bit and required the crew to come back 2 additional days to completely remove the trunk before the stump could be ground out. In spite of this, they got the job done in a timely manner and without any damage to our house or property. Stayed true to the original estimate. Polite and professional. Cleaned up. Less than one-half the price of another estimate and about the same as a third estimate. They carried insurance that our insurance carrier said was appropriate for the type of work they were doing on our property. Would hire them again.

There were a few minor scheduling difficulties. The job was rescheduled 3 times, once for weather. Once because they didn't bring the right equipment. Miscommunication between the quote guy and the guy who cut the tree down, for safety reasons they needed a bucket, which was totally acceptable, and the other, I am not sure, I think the office help was not on the ball that week. But we all have moments like that. The overall work was great. They got the job done quickly, and they cleaned up wonderfully. Overall it was a good experience.

Arborel's estimates came in at 1/2 the price of the 3 other estimates that I obtained. They were very professional and left the premises very clean. In fact, they even cleared some extra debris for me that I had been meaning to clean up when they came to remove the maple. They responded quickly to my call for estimates and scheduled me quickly as well. I have been very pleased with the professionalism of all the guys who came to do work and with the quality of the job that had been done. I will definitely call them again for future work and highly recommend them to others.

Arborel returned my call the same day, came later that week to discuss the work I wanted done and spent time offering advice on other trees, sent a written estimate within days, and performed the work two weeks later. Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. The work was done quickly (two guys, less than 2 hours), and they cleaned up all debris. I am exceptionally pleased with their responsiveness and their work.

I was not at home when the service was done, so I was uneasy that the work would not be done to my expectations. The driveway and lawn were spotless - you would never have known a tree was pruned. Also, they took out my neighbor's tree - we had tried to find a business that would do both and perhaps give us a bit of a discount. Arborel did just that. Then when I realized a few branches that I had wanted removed over my driveway had not been removed, so I called. Within 2 days, the guys came back, cut those back at the same price on the estimate. I have asked that they come every year to trim back the tree where needed and do general maintenance. I recommend them without reservation.

They're very reliable. They were thorough about getting us information for their bid. They were a pleasure to work with. Their fee was dramatically different from another service provider's.

Mr. Kruljac came out to provide me with an estimate. He provided a verbal estimate next day and followed up with an email contract. His crew of 3 came out the next week and pruned two large oak trees. They explained what they were going to do and worked very efficiently to get the job done. They were very pleasant, worked well together and did a terrific job of cleaning up. If you didn't see the slimmed down trees, you wouldn't have known they were here. They did a fantastic job.

They come every 3 months or so to fertilize our shrubs and trees. They always show up on time. Our shrubs are doing great except for a rhododendron which they told us was too close to the house to thrive.

THEY QUICKLY CAME OUT TO GIVE AN ESTIMATE AND QUICKLY EMAILED ESTIMATE TO ME BUT THE PRICE WAS TO HIGH. $3750. FOR A 100-125FT ELM TREE. I GOT PRICES IN THE $2000.-$2500. RANGE.

CREW WAS VERY POLITE AND PLEASANT. WENT RIGHT TO WORK WHEN ARRIVED AND WORKED ALL DAY (ABOUT 10-4). CREW SEEMED VERY EXPERIENCED AND KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING. EXCELLENT CLEAN-UP WHEN FINISHED. SLIGHTLY LATE. A FEW SMALL WIRE CABLE PIECES LEFT ON GROUND. EXCELLENT SERVICE AND GREAT JOB. WOULD USE AGAIN.

ROB & ARBOREL DID A FANTASTIC JOB OF ASSESSING THE PROBLEMS WITH OUR WOODED AREAS, WHICH HAD THEIR GROWTH CHOKED OFF BY A MULTITUDE OF VINES, ALONG WITH ELM DISEASE AND OTHER PROBLEMS. THEY PROVIDED ADVICE AND SERVICE REMOVING THE PROBLEMS, AND WORK A FULL DAY FOR A FLAT RATE, WORKING HARD FROM START TO FINISH. WE'RE VERY PLEASED WITH ARBOREL'S PROFESSIONALISM AND ROB'S KNOWLEDGE AS A CERTIFIED ARBORIST.

WE HAVE BEEN USING DAVEY TREE SERVICE FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS TO PROVIDE FERTILIZER FOR OUR FRONT AND BACK LAWNS. WE HAVE TWO SMALL YARDS AND DAVEY HAS ALWAYS TAKEN THE TIME TO APPLY THE FERTILIZER AND WEED KILLER EVEN THOUGH I'M SURE THEY HAVE BIGGER ACCOUNTS THAT MAKE THEM MORE MONEY. THEY ALWAYS LEAVE A NOTE TO SAY THAT THE WORK WAS PERFORMED AND LETS US KNOW WHAT WE NEED TO DO, IF ANYTHING, TO ACTIVATE THE FERTILIZER. WE DON'T ALWAYS SEE THE WORK BEING DONE, BUT ON THE TIMES WE'VE BEEN HOME WHEN THEY CAME AROUND THE WORKERS WERE PROFESSIONAL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE.

DAVEY DID A MEDIUM TRIMMING ON TWO VERY LARGE PLANE TREES IN OUR FRONT YARD BORDERING THE STREET. THE WORK WAS QUICK AND PROFESSIONAL AND EXACTLY AS THEY SAID IT WOULD BE. WE HAD USED DAVEY SEVERAL YEARS EARLIER AS WELL TO TRIM THESE TREES AND WE GOT A DISCOUNT WHEN WE BROUGHT SEVERAL OF OUR NEIGHBORS AND THEIR TREES INTO THE WORK AS WELL. DAVEY HAS ALSO REMOVED A HUGE BRANCH FROM OUR CHINESE ELM IN THE BACKYARD IN PREPARATION FOR US TO BUILD AN EXTENSION ON OUR HOUSE. ON THIS TREE DAVEY HAD VERY PROFESSIONALLY AND DISCRETELY ADDED A STRENGTHENING WIRE TO HOLD TWO LARGE HANGING OPPOSING BRANCHES IN CLOSER TO THE TRUNK. DAVEY'S ARBORIST IS EXCELLENT, NEVER PUSHING MORE THAN NEEDED. HE IS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND SEEMS TO HAVE THE TREE'S BEST INTEREST IN MIND.

ROB AND ALL OF THE FOLKS AT ARBOREL THAT WE WORKED WITH WERE TOP-NOTCH PROFESSIONALS. COURTEOUS, KNOWLEDGEABLE, PROMPT AND EFFICIENT, THEY ARRIVED AT THEIR SCHEDULED TIMES, PERFORMED THEIR WORK IN A PROFESSIONAL AND TIMELY MANNER AND LEFT THE PREMISES IN PRISTINE CONDITION UPON THEIR DEPARTURE. OUR TREES ARE HEALTHIER THAN THEY'VE BEEN SINCE WE MOVED TO OUR HOME AND THE NEW TREE THAT THEY PLANTED FOR US HAS DONE WELL, DESPITE AN UNUSUALLY DRY SUMMER. THE RECOMMENDATIONS THEY GAVE RELATED TO THE TYPE OF TREE WAS MOST HELPFUL AND THE TIME THAT THEY TOOK IN HELPING US TO LEARN MORE ABOUT THE TYPES OF EXISTING TREES THAT WE HAVE IN OUR YARD WAS MOST INFORMATIVE AND USEFUL. THESE ARE NOT JUST "TREE CUTTERS", BUT KNOWLEDGABLE, ARTICULATE PROFESSIONALS WHO TAKE A GREAT DEAL OF PRIDE IN THE WORK THAT THEY PERFORM. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE AND WE WILL PLAN TO UTILIZE THEIR SERVICES AGAIN IN THE FUTURE. AS A TREE LOVER, IT WAS GREAT TO WORK WITH PEOPLE WHO LOVE THEIR WORK WITH TREES!

PRICE WAS TERRIFIC. THEY WERE HELPFUL, PROMPT AND GOOD. THEY CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES.

I contacted Angie's List for service providers and ended up using this one because they were the only ones who called me back. They didn't show up or call to tell me they couldn't come on the day we decided upon. It was very unprofessional and I didn't appreciate the way they did business. They did a sloppy job when they did come and left wood chips in my mulch. They will be receiving a nasty letter from me about this situation.
