They did a very good job. They came early in the morning when they said they would and they stayed all day. They were a nice group of fellows and did a wonderful job of cleaning up and hauling away all the brush.

Davey is really good. They did trim my tree for me as well and that ran about $250. The first time they did it, it was just breath taking. They did well getting the tree branch out of the neighbor's yard too. They are very professional and they do really good work. I have no problems at all recommending them.

These two trees were huge and the men that came out to do this job knew what they were doing. They had them down without a hitch and cleaned up as if they were never there in the first place. I am very impressed with the quality of their work and don t mind referring them to others in the slightest.

Davey came on July 24 and cut down all the bushes. The stump grinding was not done. After waiting several weeks, I called and asked when the stumps would be done. They said they didn't know. When the grinder came in late August, he noticed our stone wall and said he couldn't get the grinder up to the stumps without a ramp and left. About a week later, our stone pillar was knocked down and Davey left a note that they had damaged it and would pay to repair it (no comment on grinding). The stumps were still not ground. Since then we have called 5 companies for a repair estimate, only one said they could do the work. The estimate was for $1120. Davey said that was too high and they wouldn't pay it. We are trying to get another estimate. In the meantime, we received a past due notice for the $1290 for bush removal. I called and they put the invoice on hold. We have used Davey before and were pleased. This is a completely different experience.

They worked quickly, perhaps too much so. Not much care or aesthetic consideration given to given to pruning. We were told by the crew that the cherry tree should come down. When we scheduled an appointment for estimate we mentioned our displeasure with work in front. Ron was somewhat defensive but agreed to send crew back to redo work. Three weeks later this still hasn't happened. All of this was rather disappointing as we had used Davy for a number of years and had previously been quite happy with their work.

WHAT BOTHERED US WAS THAT WE WERE TOLD THAT THE TREES IN QUESTION DO NOT LIVE THAT LONG, WHICH WE BELIEVED TO BE A BUNCH OF EXCUSES.

Called them for an estimate, which they provided after stopping by to see the tree (took about 1 week to get the estimate after the initial call). After we called to let them know that we wanted to proceed, they mentioned that it would be about 3 weeks to schedule the work. About 3 weeks afterward, we called them to check on the status of the work--they mentioned that they were looking to do some jobs the next day (Saturday) and that they would come the next day. They arrived the next morning around 9:45 and completed the work by about 11:30. Work performed well and with care, a particular concern given that some of the tree branches were positioned above electric/cable/phone lines. They removed all traces of the tree save for a few leaves and cleaned up the site, including blowing off a deck which got a shower of wood debris.

The amount is for annual service on the lawn including air-ration, grub control and fertilization. When they remove trees or plant grass it's an extra charge. They do very good work and I have no complaints. I deal mostly with Dick Till who is very professional and is knowledgeable on is trade.

Took me out to pick out the trees I wanted. Expensive but very cooperative. I've used them several times and will use them again! Over the times I've used them, they've planted 12-15" feet trees, smaller shrubs, re-seeded my lawn, and many other things. I just call them and they come and do it. Their clean-up is excellent. When plant new trees, they add mulch around them. When you get a large tree, they remove all the burlap and metal bounding and spread the roots so it grows. They will do whatever you know to ask them to do. I wouldn't use anyone else.

Originally I wanted my Maple tree to be trimmed/shaped from Duquesne Light, severely cutting branches away from the electrical wires. Rob was accommodating to my schedule and met me at my house to review the work to be done. He was honest and helpful to educate me that the tree had outgrown its space in my small front yard & I would have issues with the wires every 3-4 years as the tree continued to grow. Rob suggested removing the tree since it was too large for the space and was north-facing (did not provide any shade for the house itself). I was hesitant about the tree removal cost and then planting a new one as well as disturbing the many plantings in the yard. Rob assured me that cost would be reasonable from the cost to trim the tree and be fair on a new tree. He would also make every effort to not disturb the plantings. Rob was true to his word! The cost was reasonable and the work done was clean, thorough and quick. The new tree looks great. I am very happy.

They couldn't have been nicer. They cleaned up very well. Their work was professional, they know what they are doing.

Very favorable. They were good men, and understood my needs, and discussed what would be the best procedure.

Rob came within a week of my phone call; provided a written estimate within a few days, and scheduled the work within a month. The work was done well, all debris removed, and the shrubs pruned and trimmed carefully to bring them under control without looking scalped.

I called Aborel and set up an appointment to get an estimate. They were punctual and gave me an estimate that was roughly $200 less than the next lowest. We scheduled the work, and again they were punctual. They completed the work of cutting down the trees and grinding the stumps in just a couple of hours. They cleaned up the area very well.

I've been satisfied with what they have done.

Robert from Arborel came and surveyed the work. He made detailed comments into a tape recorder about the work the entire time. He had an estimate mailed to us within a few days. Based on other tree yard work we've had done he was very reasonable. I sent back the work order with my signature. Robert called within a day or two to schedule the work. It did take over a month, I'm assuming that was his backlog. Very happy with the work and will use Arborel again without a doubt.

Robert returned my call same day and within a week came by to see the job and give us a quote. He mentioned during the call that the work would not be able to be done for 6 weeks from quote as they were so busy. He told us they had a minimum of $600. We verbally agreed to have them do the work when he gave us the quote. Mailed us a contract to be signed. I called a week later to make sure they received the contract and that we were on their calendar. He called back in 2 days with a date the work was to be done. 2 workers showed up around 8:30 am day of the job. Took the tree down mostly by hand saw just using the chainsaw at the end. We did not have the roots removed because of location on property, they cut it nearly flush to ground. All traces of the tree were chipped up and removed along with some other dead limbs on the ground nearby. No plants were disturbed in my garden. No leaves, twigs, branches anywhere on deck or garden. They were completely finished by 11:30am.

Service was excellent. I called Arborel after getting no response to email and no answers to phone calls to another highly rated firm. The owner was extremely responsive; he came to our house the same day I called and gave me a price. The work was done about three weeks later. Clean-up was immaculate.

Despite an intermittant start due to weather problems beyond Rob's control, his people completed the job in two partial days, including stump removal. We were impressed with the care they took dropping the trees, particularly one only a few feet from the house. They cleaned the work areas and removed all of the debris created when they had to drag the sections through our front yard to get to their chipper. We will definitely use Rob and his crew for any future tree removal work.

They did a great job. They were very courteous and professional. They had all of the appropriate equipment. They came back the second day to finish the clean-up. Their price was moderate.

Rob was very responsive and courteous. The cost estimate provided was within our expectations and was clear and concise as to the scope of work to be performed. Although we have decided not to have the tree pruned, it is because we are putting our house on the market and not in any way due to the service provided by Arborel

My neighbor's tree is hanging onto my property and about to fall over. The landlord is talking at taking care of it, so I got Arborel to come out and assess the situation. They were prompt, friendly, and their estimate seemed quite reasonable. If only the next door landlord were so reasonable! He's not yet willing to have the work done, so I'm hoping the tree doesn't fall onto my house. . . I don't know how helpful this review is, since I didn't have work done, but on the front end Arborel seemed like a wonderful company and I would use them anytime. If I end up having to pay for it myself, I will definitely call them.

The price was also discounted if our neighbors agreed to have their work done at the same time (they had also called for a quote at the same time we did). Arborel's crew did a nice job pruning the trees and cleaning the area. We are very satisfied with the service we received.

I asked that Davey do the estimate when I was home so I could ask questions but they were unable to do an estimate after 3pm. After two business days an estimate was left in an envelope on my side door.
