They did a great job when I used them before. They would've done a great job for my recent service now I'm sure. They were very polite & left a free estimate. The only reason I didn't use them was because I found a cheaper price.

We were very pleased with the service provided. Arborel was quick to respond to our request for estimate. Their price was a bit high relative to some of our other quotes but they were by far the most professional and I believed they had the best intentions for our trees. We had 2 Ash trees taken down. One very large. We had a Birch, Linden, and Crabapple trimmed. It took them a full day to complete the work. Other than the missing trees there was little trace of Arborel having been at our house. The only complaint was that I did have to call them after a few weeks to make sure we were on the schedule. After that call they were out in a few days.

They not only cut down the trees but cleared out all the weeds and hauled everything away for a pretty reasonable price. They were effective at communicating in a timely manner and there were no problems whatsoever. Good experience!

We hadn't had rain in weeks, but it was pouring down rain on the day they were scheduled to come. The crew arrived a little later than expected because they had been working late the previous night due to the storms. Once they arrived, they got right to work in spite of the downpour. With all of the rain, the yard was very wet and I was concerned, but they were extremely careful not to damage the lawn. We have many trees in our yard, and I was amazed that they didn't damage any of the trees nearby. The crew are aerial climbers who use ropes to climb up the tree and cut off the branches from top to bottom and lower them down with ropes. My only complaint is a communication issue on the pruning of the trees overhanging the house. I had discussed how much I wanted them cut back with one of the crew members. I wanted them trimmed so they didn't overhang the house by about 5-7 feet. He understood and began the trimming. A second crew arrived a little later and apparently didn't understand how I wanted them trimmed. Before I noticed it, they had cut the trees back much further than I wanted. They will grow back, but we needed to relocate our bird feeders to other trees. Overall we were very pleased with the work. We had seen our neighbors have trees cut down and their lawn ended up with damage from the trucks, the chipper and logs being pulled through the grass. Arborel kept the truck and the chipper on the driveway and they carried the logs to the chipper, so our lawn wasn't damaged.

They came out one month ago and gave us a free consult. They gave us two prices. The first price was a flat price and the second price was @ $200.00/hour. They were not sure how long the job would take but insisted it would not go above the flat price. We had the trees cut down, NO stump removal and they left the logs there for our fire place (we will use a log splitter for the logs.) The job took only 2.5 hours so they charge us the hourly rate. They are GREAT to work with.

Arborel came out and gave us an estimate just a few days after we contacted them. Their estimate was smack in the middle of the others we received, but we were impressed by their professionalism, so we hired them for the job. Getting onto their busy schedule did take a few weeks, but we didn't really have any time constraints, so that was fine by us. Of course, on our scheduled service date the late July thunderstorms began to roll in, and they were only able to complete about half the work. About a week later they returned and were again delayed by bad storms. Finally they were able to finish on the third visit. A few days later we received the bill, which matched the estimate. I give Arborel a lot of credit for not increasing the invoice after the one-day job turned into a three-day ordeal. The trees are gone, the experience was painless, and we would do it again.

I called a couple of tree services and was most impressed by Arborel. I had 2 very large spruce trees that were dying and several fruit trees that needed to be trimmed. We set up a day for the estimate and I asked to be called when they were close because I work nearby. They were very accommodating and did so. The price they gave me was quite a bit lower than the others I had received. We set a date for service and they were right on time. My son-in-law wanted the trunks to burn in his fire pit and came by to tell them where to leave them so he could come back and take them. The crew did everything he wanted and cut the trunks up for him to haul away. All of the fruit trees were cleared of the dead wood as I asked and now look great. This company is not as local as the others I had contacted but they traveled to my house with no complaints about the distance. I have told everyone I talk to that Arborel was great and would use them again if the need arose.

I called and later he called me back, and talked to me. Asked if it hit the house, he said if it did not hit anything that I would not make any money from it.

They were reasonably priced. They cleaned up after they were done. They came when they were supposed to.

They do a good job. They are very professional. Timely on their appointments and always meet or exceeds our requirements.

Robert came by our house on May 31st. was very polite and professonal, looked over the work and gave us a bid and we sceduled the work. The crew came by on June 19th at approx. 9:00 and started work. By 1:30 all work was done, the yard and alley by our house cleaned up. there was no mess left behind. overall we were quite pleased with the work ,and the people . If we have any need for that type of work again we will definatly call them again.

I would recommend them. Everything has turned out good. I don’t know how to compare on price.

Ken from Arborel was very courteous and professional. When he first came to give me an estimate he pointed out a split in the trunk of one of my trees. I did not want to remove it so he had a cable installed to hold it in place. After the trimming work was done you couldn't tell they were there. My trees look the best that they have in years.

They did a lot of digging up but they put everything back about where it should be. I was happy with them.

The estimate showed knowledge of trees. The work is done with an outstanding understanding of trees, trimming and pruning.They are a busy company, but keep you informed when they can come. And show up on the appointed day on time. Excellent experience.The work was done in Pittsburgh, Squirrel Hill.

They are very professional. They come when they say they are coming. They do everything they claim they are going to do. It is great. We have had good success with them.

This company is professional and very knowledgeable about trees and shrubs. They have certified arborists that can diagnose problems before they become life threatening to the plant depending on how quickly the homeowner has a consultation. I have been a client for over 20 years.

There was a miscommunication of what work I wanted done and what was done. Overall I requested a tree to be cut down and a stump grinded out. I wanted to keep the wood. However I thought or assumed that when they cut the wood, it would be in some piles and manageable to cut and it wasn't. It was all over the backyard, Took me about two weeks to clean up. After about 2 weeks, they came back to cut some of the larger pieces into smaller manageable pieces and grinded the stump. Overall the company did a great job of grinding out the stump and not damaging my deck. Also scheduling took a few calls to get a date which I needed due to I was getting a roof installed and I wanted the tree cut first.

Prompt, reasonable, and neat. I have had a lot of tree work done over the years and the pricing is good, and on this job they took all debris with them, left no mess, no tracks, nicely done!

We called several tree services for pruning our magnolia back from the house. Davey provided the best price and responded quickly. Since both of us work, they agreed to do the pruning, and leave an invoice in our box -- if we weren't satisfied, they would come back. They did a good job, and much less than the last company we hired for the same work.

I use The Davey Tree Expert every year. They have certified tree experts who are very knowledgeable. I have always been very satisfied with the service they provide and the price. I will definitely give them an "A" on everything.

When I first called, they let me know they would call back with a date and time they could stop by to give an estimate. I received a call back within a week. Rob came by, looked at the work requested, and gave several suggestion on what should be done and other items that were not necessary. Once we finalized what work to do, he printed out the estimate and gave me a copy. I faxed it back to his office the next day, and received a call they would be by in 3-4 weeks to do the job. They called one day about a month later and said they would be in the area to do the job the next day. They came by and did the work without anyone needing to be at home. The work was done and cleaned up completely ... top notch. It's great to have a no hassle experience of people you can trust.
