"As owner of Extreme Housecleaning, I am proud to have these two individuals representing my company. They have been described by other clients as outstanding, polite, courteous and professional. We were asked by this client to stop using our method of floor cleaning. When only a Swiffer is used, the result is not as thorough. Our manager contacted this client periodically to explain that she needed to pay for the time spent at her house. On the last day, both employees felt as if they were being belittled, which was the reason for terminating her service."
When we raised concern with quality of cleaning and not getting the service due, we were told that they can not meet our standard (which is average cleaning which you would expect for the amount paid).
I would NOT be going back to such service where there is no customer service.
1) floors not mopped
2) fridge not cleaned
3) stove partially cleaned
4) cabinets partially wiped.
5) all just surface clean and nothing was scrubbed.
However, bath tub and windows were acceptable.
Called Lisa the next day and she was very responsive and polite. She offered to re-clean the place. Since my tenant moved in that night, it is not possible. I will use the service one more time since Lisa and her team did an excellent job last time with another property.
Lesson learned: make sure you ask for the best team.
It went very badly.
The price they quoted was higher by $50 than what we were paying someone else so we scaled back the extent of the cleaning (taking rooms out) in order to get the price closer to $100. I thought it would be worth it because they would do a better job, but the cleaning was only ok so the exchange of price for quality was not there. I think what happened is that they found the house was taking longer to clean than Marina had predicted so they found themselves at the house too long/rushing in order to keep up their other cleaning appts. I wish Marina had called and told me this rather than to have the sighing, eye-rolling and unhappiness that her staff brought into the house. We ended the cleaning after three visits. I note that we had asked them to do two spare bathrooms rather than the living room and the dining room and they found this to be unacceptable. I noted to Marina that if this was an unacceptable change in the arrangement, all she had to do was call me rather than the unprofessionalism that was manifested by her staff at my house in front of my children. I wish I had never left my last provider and found that I wasted a lot of my personal time checking references and working things out with Marina all for not.Very pleasant staff and will definitely use them again.
We accepted Extreme Housecleaning because they were prompt in coming out to provide an estimate, and were able to begin work immediately. One big and quot;proand quot; was that the first cleaning, which took 4 hours, was only charged at the ongoing bi-weekly rate of $107 ($100 plus tax). Two people attend each cleaning, which allows them to generally be done with our house within 2 hours (thus, the rate is approximately $25 per person per hour).
They have since come every two weeks on Mondays. We would prefer a later day in the week since we often have events at our house on the weekends, but for now, we are not complaining. One and quot;conand quot; to this point is punctuality - they show up, but never on time. They were an hour late for the first big cleaning mentioned above, and blamed construction on our road, but we knew the construction only took 5 minutes to get through, so they were definitely behind. Since that time, they have generally been 30 minutes late (never arriving on time). We rank a clean house above the timing though, so we have not yet reached a point where punctuality is causing issues.
During our most recent cleaning, we noticed that a section of our hardwood floors had been mopped, but not dried, which left a film on the floor. Not a big deal, but we plan to mention something during the next cleaning.
Despite scoring a B overall, if they were a little more on time, we would bump them to an A
"Thank you for the feedback. It is helpful to us and we appreciate it. As much as we would love to give all of our clients an exact appointment time, the nature of our business makes that impossible. We aim to please and our crews give each and every home the attention that is necessary, even if it means going over the estimated timeframe. Many factors can occur that would make a home take longer than expected. We do ask each client to "do their part" by picking up clothes, toys, dishes, etc. in an effort to help us maintain that schedule. We try to accomodate our clients wishes when scheduling, but can only fit so many homes at the end of the week. When an opening becomes available we will switch the day. We also try to keep our employees' driving distance between homes to a minumum, given the current cost of gas, so the area in which you live could play a part in the day of the week we can offer at a given time. HOWEVER, schedule changes are almost ALWAYS honored when a client requests a specific date for a special occasion."
"Thank you for the review. We appreciate it!"
"Thanks so much for the review! Much appreciated!"
When I finally had had enough of the horrible job performed I confronted the owner...
I was told it's and quot;hit or missand quot; unquote... What?
Her attitude and lack of professionalism was unacceptable, bordering on nasty.
I would never recommend them to anyone.
The name of her company and quot;Extreme Housecleaningand quot; is anything BUT that!
Absolutely, the worst service I've ever had done in my home and I've had cleaning services all over the USA.
"It was Christmas year round at this adorable house! Every corner of every room was decorated TO THE MAX with cute, country style, hand-made craft items. To dust every single thing in the house would take 10?, 12? 15 hours?? So we came up with a plan to clean bathrooms, kitchen, major surfaces, and floors each week, and to "detail" dust one or two rooms each visit. I was a little confused when I started receiving calls that this wasn't dusted and that wasn't dusted, because wasn't that our arrangement??"
