THE NEW START DATE THE CREW WAS THERE AT 7:00AM AND READY TO GO...MY HEAD IS STILL SPINNING ON HOW FAST THEY MOVED. I HAVE A 2500 SQ FT HOUSE WITH PRETTY STEEP DROP OFF. THESE GUYS TORE THE OLD ROOF OFF, REPLACED 22 SHEETS OF PLYWOOD AND COMPLETELY SHINGLED THE HOUSE IN 1 DAY. i'VE BEEN TRYING TO SEE IF THEY MISSED SOMETHING, BUT HAVEN'T FOUND ANYTHING WRONG YET.
DID I MENTION THEY REPLACED 4 WINDOWS ALSO.
A GOOD JOB DONE AND DONE RIGHT. JOE CAME THROUGH ON EVERYTHING HE SAID WOULD HAPPEN, BUT IT TOOK 2 DAYS LESS THAN WHAT HE SAID. I'M VERY IMPRESSED WITH LEMUS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY.
After receiving the estimate a rep contacted me a few times to follow up.
We chose them and were given a time frame of when the work would be done. The time frame was accurate. The workers were professional..they cleaned up the property well.
I would HIGHLY recommend them.
Work start was somewhat delayed due to wet weather. All work and cleanup, except for final inspection, was completed within three days, which quite frankly amazed us. Installation started at 7 AM and stopped at 7 PM. Contractor had up 7 workers on roof at times, who were all courteous. Cleanup was meticulous. Dumpster was removed on 4th day. We had requested the dumpster to be placed in street rather than on recently repaved driveway; this was done without any issue. Final inspection yielded some flashing that needed more caulk, which was done without issue. Billing was 1/3 at contract signing, 1/3 at start and final payment upon final inspection (two weeks later).
Only suggestion to do different by others would be to confirm all first floor windows would be protected during old roof removal. Most windows were covered, but we had some old shingle particles being thrown from roof fly back towards house which cause some minor damage to window frames.
Bottom line: all said this was one of the best contractor experiences that my wife and I have had.

Contract signed in mid January but due to weather, the work was not started until mid March. The company kept me informed and once scheduled, showed up promptly. they had to move the start date to accomodate the township building inspector. The company took care of all items including arranging building permit and getting a roll-off. The work was scheduled to be done on Thursday through Saturday, with tear off and start of replacement on Thursday. Completed installation of roofing main roofing materials and skylight on Friday. Ridge vent work, gutters, soffit, trim work and site cleanup completed on Saturday. The roll-off was taken away on Saturday before the contractor left the site.
The existing wood on the overhang of the garage was old and ugly. The soffit replacement job in this area was extremely well done. All joints were sealed up with caulk. The trim pieces were finely installed. The area looks so much better than it had. In all other areas where the aluminum was cut and bent the joints were neatly sealed up with caulk.
The gutter installation was well done. There are a lot support pieces in the gutter runs. The back of the house gutter has a very long run. The guys angled it nicely from the middle down to either end. It should drain well. They also use wide gutters and downspouts.
I called this morning about two questions I had about the skylight and the ridge vent. During that call, they made arrangements to come out this afternoon to meet with me. the project manager showed up exactly as scheduled, answered my questions and was very respectful.

I also had a complete roof installed on my other apartment. They did a fantastic job. Worked clean and had no issues repairing slight ceiling damage which occurred in the process that was not really their fault. I can't say enough about them. Their prices are very fair too. You cannot go wrong. Wish I could find other contractors as good as this one.
