Wood Genie

We had a complete kitchen remodel in 1997, where we replaced our kitchen cabinets, counters, appliances, floors and lighting.  At the time we opted for high quality solid wood cherry cabinets.  Over the past 18 years the day-to-day wear and tear had taken its toll on the appearance of the cabinets: water marks, dings, scratches, door that opened or closed hard...typical wear and tear.   
After hearing of friends' positive experience with Wood Genie we liked what they had to say and engaged them and scheduled them in for service.  We subsequently needed to change the service dates, and the owner, Kevin Pelligrini, was flexible and able to accommodate us.  They called before the scheduled service date to confirm with us, then arrived a few minutes early (quite a treat with what we've experienced with far too many service providers). Kevin and his assistant explained their plan of restoration, then took meticulous steps to prepare with drop cloths and map out their work.
In checking on their progress during the day and a half it took to complete the project, I always found them intently working and concentrating on getting all the little details perfect. No long breaks, personal phone calls, or texting...just 100% focus on the work.  In asking questions I learned that they spent several years mastering the art and science behind their craft, and that they only used the finest quality materials for completing the job right - no shortcuts.  
They arrived in similar timing the next day, despite travel delays due to inclement weather, which show me that they do what they say they will do.
My kitchen now looks BETTER than it did on the day it was installed 18 years ago.  The quality just jumps out at you!
Overall I give Wood Genie a perfect 100% grade, and A++, and my highest recommendation for future customers to engage their services.

He is a young guy. He is very clean. He is fine to have in your home. He just did a really nice job. His price was reasonable.
