We were very pleased with the quality and attention to detail. Brett and his team came out 2 additional times after the install b/c the sizing was not exactly correct & had to reorder a couple of valences. They definitely made sure we were 100% satisfied.

When we moved into our home, some of the windows had Hunter Douglas blinds already installed. We recently had to replace a patio door and I've had the ultra glide blind sitting around for months. I called the original installer whose name was on the blinds, but they never scheduled a time to come out. They said we were too far for a minor repair/installation issue. I called Blind Builders and they scheduled to come out for the $75 service call fee. First, they called and asked if they could arrive 40 minutes EARLY. Awesome! Then they reinstalled the patio door blind, and repaired 2 broken pull cords on other blinds. And they did it all for the $75 fee. They were great!!!

Where do I start? I was so impressed with this business from start to finish. These guys are awesome.
I had seen a Hunter Douglas product in a friend's house a couple years ago and fell in love. I finally decided to take the plunge so I searched for blind companies on here that sold Hunter Douglas products. Based on their informative website and the positive reviews posted here, I decided to stop in and talk about my options.
First, the store is very clean and filled with lots of products (not just Hunter Douglas, but that was my focus). As nice as the Hunter Douglas website is, it's so hard to truly compare products; therefore, Blind Builders' gallery was so helpful. I was able to see how each worked and see the fabrics up close. During my first visit, I worked with Jen. She was extremely patient and knowledgeable. She listened to my many questions and concerns (desire for more light, but also more privacy). She walked me through the options that would best suit my needs and that's when we decided on the Silhouette. Before I left, she scheduled a free in-home consultation where they would measure my window and where I could compare fabrics in my home.
Andrew came out for the in-home consultation and was great. He helped explain the different levels of fabric and also answered my many questions. In addition to measuring my one window, I asked him about some other products for another room. Even though this visit was probably longer than anticipated, he was patient and did not rush me. He measured my other items and provided me with a quote (1 sliding door and 1 window) so that the measurements could stay on file if I should want to use them in the future (very helpful - no need for another visit unless I would want it).
It took 4 weeks for the Silhouette to arrive since it's custom and then they called promptly to make an appointment and I was able to schedule it within days. Also, I was happy that they have evening appointments - I work during the day so I appreciate the evening schedule. Andrew installed the unit in the exact time he quoted initially and also consulted me on the other request I made earlier - what fabric to use, installation, etc. As for the Silhouette, it is even better in person than I imagined - it fits in the window like a glove and looks stunning (I wish I could do my whole house!). In fact, I was so pleased with the product and the service, that I went back this weekend to order the other items (1 window-screen shade, 1 sliding door - Skyline).
When I returned this weekend, I worked with the owners Brett and Nikki who were absolutely amazing - helpful, pleasant and patient. I was not planning to invest in the other items so soon, but I was so incredibly impressed that I chose to order the others as well. It's so rare to find businesses today that provide quality products and outstanding service, but Blind Builders has both. Honestly, I can't say enough good things - I recommend them without hesitation (and already have sent friends over). When I need my next window treatments, I will definitely go here - they have gained a loyal customer. Thank you to the entire Blind Builders team for your professional, kind and reliable service! Now I just can't wait for my next order to arrive!

In home estimate and measurement for three woven ropp up shades. On time for appontment and delivery and installation as promised.

I had gotten a price a year or so ago from Home Depot - $1500 fro electric blinds and Lowe's said they do not sell electric blinds anymore. I stumbled across Blind Builders while Googling window treatments.
I loved the simplicity of the Hunter Douglas shades and that they hung straight and true and that various opacity levels were available. I needed the electric version as I have a number of huge old houseplants that winter over in the picture window thus making it difficult to pull the shades up and down manually.
The woman who answered the phone re my initial inquiry, Nikki, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They showed up for the appointment at my home on time and with a ton of samples, zillions of colors and textures and opacity levels.
The lead time was 5 weeks and they were installed then and again they were on time and very professional. The shades are fantastic and easy to operate with the remote and give the crisp, clean appearance I was hoping for. I could not be happier with the purchase.

On the recommendation of some friends, we visited the Blind Builder's showroom on Street Rd in Feasterville to select new window treatments. The staff were very helpful and patiently guided us through the various catalogs to the appropriate options. Once we selected the specific treatments, we were given an quote for the cost which was quite reasonable and included an Angie's List coupon discount and an additional 5% Bucks County Veteran's discount. A few days later, the manager came to our home and took exact measurements. The estimate we were given of 3-4 weeks for delivery of the materials was correct, although we had to delay the installation because of a trip. We made an appointment for the installation and the installer was very prompt. He completed the installation quickly and expertly as we had specified during the measurements.
What followed next earns big kudos for Blind Builders! After the installer left and we were able to take time to contemplate the installation, we concluded that we had made a poor decision on where we wanted the blinds hung relative to the window and door openings, specifically they were too far above the openings and should have been lower. We called the company and asked if the installer could return to discuss our situation. He returned the next day and without any difficulty repositioned the blinds which included trimming the bottom of the slats on the deck door unit. He completed the reinstallation in a half-hour and without any addition charge!
We are delighted with our purchase and enthusiastically recommend Blind Builders for their quality products and extraordinary service.

I needed window treatments for our family’s condo rehab project. I actually saw the company on Angie’s along with so many others but realized that I drive by their new store on Street Road daily. I stopped by the store after doing research at Lowes and HD. Maybe it was just time of day but at the big stores no one approached me to help. At Blind Builder’s, the employee was both friendly and helpful and I took up a lot of her time with questions that helped make me feel more knowledgeable to compare their products to other. She set up an appointment for a home visit, measurement and Brett; I believe the owner of the store came to the house. I liked the home visit and he helped me compare all my choices from shutters, verticals and blinds. Prices where comparable to the Home Depot and t it was so much easier to imagine the finished project standing in front of the windows with books of color and styles. Delivery was about a month and they worked around my tight time schedule. It was Brett again that installed the blinds and they look great. Full demonstration and instruction on the use was very helpful. No mess after insulation which I was very sensitive to as I have had to clean up after contractors, window installers and other work crews. All staff was very friendly and on time.
