Fine. The associate did his job. We have used Scott Air Conditioning Co for 38 years.

After the service I had a leak I did not have before the service and the heat would not go on. They came back and got the furnace to work and said the leak could only be fixed by installing a new pump. They were focused on selling me a new boiler, but never sent me a proposal in spite of numerous requests.

They were able to send someone right away and they fixed it properly.

Their technician checked my Heat pump and identified the broken module. They didn't call back the next day. That is OK, I called them two day later they told me the estimate is $1700 + !!! They refused giving me the price of the parts and being very rude to drop my call!!! We have previous owner's records showed both the motor and module replaced on November 2009, both parts (motor and module) cost about $650. This time only need to replace the module. Even replace both motor and module together, I can't imagine the parts cost over $1500 now. I used them because they claimed themselves 99.99% satisfactory from TRANE's dealer list. Please don't get fooled by that. With such unprofessional behavior, I will give them an "F".

They were great; they rushed out on a Sunday to figure out what was going on and could not fix it as they did not have the parts but they are coming back today with the correct parts to get the leak corrected.

Professional, reliable. Never a problem

I had to write another review for this company because they're just that good. My dad had just had a triple bypass recently, the day of the first snow storm of the season, so it wasn't a good day for me. When I got home from the hospital, my house was cold enough for the first time this season to turn on the heat (until then, my fireplace was sufficient). No heat. I always try to troubleshoot problems like this myself first, before calling for service, but this was beyond the scope of my ability. The stack fan wasn't running as it should, and the pilot lights were out and would not restart. Since Scott A/C had stepped up the last time I needed them, also on an emergent basis, I called again, and once again they were out within the hour, even during the storm, and found and fixed the problem quickly (a problem that I could not have known how to fix, being a layperson). So, yet again, Scott Air Conditioning has won me over, and they have a customer for as long as I live within their service area! :)

Curt came to our house and went over a variety of replacement options. We did our due diligence and checked other local Contractors. Scott offered the best all around deal for the Trane system we went with. They were able to schedule our install quickly and did a great job - couldn't have went any smoother. We were very happy with the entire experience and would highly recommend Scott for heating and a/c work.

They came out right away and were professional and timely. They figured out the problem right away and fixed it immediately.

They usually have someone out within 36 hours of calling. They check the filters and all of the electrical. They clean the air filter and were very thorough. They cleaned the condenser on the air conditioning unit. They also will come back in the fall, when you convert to heat and repeat the same services.

We have had a service contract with them over the past six years. They are okay. At one point, we negotiated a hot water heater installation and they charged me a bit more than I thought that they should. We had agreed on an amount and the amount came out to be more. They said that it was for the parts but the parts did not cost that much. I was not happy that they charged me more than what we had talked about and it was a negative experience. It cost $75 more than what I had expected. Their price is fair.

They’re wonderful to work with. They’re prompt, courteous, and honest. I’d definitely recommend them others.

I don?t have any complaints about their work but I found a company that does a better job. A was a customer of theirs for some time but they gave me the runaround when I asked to have someone come out. They have a lot of business and they thanked me for finding someone else; I thought that was odd. I don't think they care as much as the company that I use now.

We dealt directly with the owner, Curt. He was very helpful in teaching us what our options were. They customized the system to our personal needs. We would certainly use them again.

This company is not looking for new business. They don't return phone calls, they verbally outline their service contract benefits, but when they send you the service contract to sign, most of what they verbally tell you is missing from the contract. When questioned about it, they become annoyed and state they don't make any changes to contracts. The owner, Curt, has an attitude, something, I've never experienced before. Why anyone would want to do business with Scott Air, is beyond my scope of reasoning. Their business motto appears to be, 'We're take your money, but don't question anything'

I thought that he did a thorough review of my heating and air conditioning system. He was very pleasant and seemed very knowledgeable. The only thing that I didn't care for with him, was that in the interview he didn't speak very nicely of other companies, which I don't think is very professional, and that kind of threw me off a little bit.

Any time we have ever needed them, they have been quick to come out. They have the same rep that comes out most of the time. They are professional and honest. We have never had a bad experience with them and we would highly recommend them.

THEY WERE VERY HONEST WITH WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE WITH THE A/C. OTHER COMPANIES WERE NOT GOING TO REPLACE THE A/C UNIT AND THE DUCT WORK, TO KEEP THE COST OF THE JOB LOW. BUT IN THE LONG RUN, WE DO NOT HAVE TO WORRYING ABOUT ANYTHING IN THE UNIT.
