The estimator told me I had no case after having been in my home less than 5 minuted. But I did have one, a big one.

Rick came by inspected my house for water damage, even though we didn't proceed with the claim his advice was very helpful and honest. I would definitely call him again for any problems I'll have in the future and also highly recommend him to anybody that needs help in these situations.

Spoke to Rick Kinney of Advocate Public Adjustment on the phone and made an appointment for him to come out and look at the house damage. Rick kept the appointment, came out on time, took one look at the property damage, and immediately voiced his disagreement with the insurance company's determination. Rick sent out a restoration company immediately to tarp the exposed and damaged area. The insurance company denied Rick's claim and I thought that I would have to pay out of pocket for repairs. Rick went the extra mile and retained an appraiser. By the time all was said and done (May/June 2016), the insurance company approved an amount for much more than they originally stated. I hired the contractor who Rick suggested, my home is repaired (August 2016), and I am extremely happy with the work. I cannot say enough about Rick Kinney. He knows his business, he will give you a straight answer, and he will fight for you. Thank you for everything Rick. :)

Took a little bit of time because of home owners insurance but in the end.......excellent.

VERY helpful and informative. Once I explained my situation it was rendered that he may not be able to help me due to the extreme likelihood that my insurance company would rule the problem as an existing condition. He could have ended the conversation but he gave me very valued advise and courses of action to take. He also provided me with his email address so I may foward my policy for his review and he'd let me know exactly what they cover (since my insurance company is of absolutely no help) with this being my first home and first major issue although he may not be able to help it was awesome having someone give me the hard truth and multiple routes I can take to have the issue resolved. I highly recommend Advocate because in this day and age its hard to find someone that is genuinely interested in helping you and not just offering meaningless info and trying to collect a check!

Rick Kinney come aboard as my insurance appraiser to help determine and negotiate a scope of loss after a major fire destroyed our home. What was a very stressful time for us dealing with our insurance adjustor(s), Mr. Kinney stepped in, handled and managed our insurance adjustor(s). We did not have to do anything at all! His professionalism, knowledge and genuine advocacy for us was greatly appreciated. He never gave up until our carrier provided exactly what our policy would allow for such a loss - water damaged hardwood floors. Well done! Rick answered my questions and even though he could not take the job, he gave me great advise. He even offered to contact him in the future if I had any issues in the future.

1. Rick immediately came to the property and evaluated the cost of the damage and presented to us a detailed claim. His fees were very reasonable. 2. Rick then contacted the insurance adjuster and presented to him the claim. he negotiated with the insurance company and brought the insurance adjuster several times to the property. He is a true consumer advocate with patience and highest level of integrity. 3. After the insurance refused to pay, Rick advised us to go to umpire or referee to decide the case since this is the way it goes in Pennsylvania.. 4. The referee awarded us 10 time (yes ten time what the insurance offered us initially .we are forever grateful to him for distinguished service, honesty and endless patience in very complicated case. I recommend him to represent any one who need a fighter on his or her side. He wins!

After reviewing our insurance policy, he declined to accept the job because his fees would not have been in our best interest. Instead he instructed us on how to handle the situation to our best advantage. Offered to help us if we had any complications with the insurance company. But his instructions were dead on and we were able to settle the insurance claim ourselves. Rick is a very honest man! Knows what he is doing.

Rick is a very nice guy and very dependable.
