Very well! Not only were Jack and Randy were an efficient and thorough team, Jack answered numerous questions about the repair and ultimate reconstruction process (we had never had such a significant amount of damage to our home before). They sawed off the broken joists and spliced new segments to temporarily stabilize the ceiling, pulled down anything hanging (insulation, ceiling board, etc.) and stabilized the skylight/skylight support structure. They covered the holes in the roof with fiberboard and, ultimately, a tarp to keep rain water out; the remaining skylight was covered and stabilized with adhesive tarp. Finally, they thoroughly cleaned all kitchen countertops and the floor, which were coated with pieces of skylight and shingle, wood, insulation, mud (from rain), oak leaves, etc. The work quality and professionalism of this team was absolutely outstanding.

We had lost power during the ice storm, when power was restored we discovered a burst pipe on the third floor. About half of the second floor had water damage and part of the third floor. We called this ServiceMaster after the Collegeville ServiceMaster didn't show up. I'm glad we used them.
They worked very closely with our insurance claims adjuster and over the course of 2 days got all the wet drywall and carpet up and had fans and water extraction equipment placed. They came back daily to check the progress and to determine when the water was all gone. One thing that impressed me was they didn't take advantage of the situation. They only took out the drywall that was wet and used meters and other equipment to determine what was necessary. The insurance adjuster looked at the bill and saw some things that should be removed and ServiceMaster agreed without a problem.
We also choose them to do the repair of the walls, ceiling and trim. First they were by far the best price, second they had been very professional during the remediation, third they could start immediately. Noel was easy to work with in the getting the bid just right. We used them to tear out the linoleum floor because Home Depot wanted too much to do it. They came when they said they would, it took exactly how long they told me it would. They were neat and clean during the work, and cleaned up every day before they left.
Overall the work was good, and any areas that I felt needed more attention or correction were taken care of without any problem.

I phoned on Wednesday February 5th asking for services. The lady on the phone informed me she would contact the on call guy and he would reach out to me. He did and he told me they would be out on Thursday to do the assessment. They didn't come and they didn't call. We were in the middle of a storm, so I understood the not coming, but thought I at least deserved a call. Regardless, I called back on Thursday to check the status. They remembered me and that I had a fire, but got and quot;caught upand quot; and didn't get to me. Ok, storm, got it. So we agreed to have Rodney come out on Friday and he would be there first thing. As of 10am, he hadn't arrived. I phoned again and spoke with Rodney. He said he left a message. I told him my understanding was me agreed on a time and I had someone there. He said the office shouldn't have told me I was and quot;first thingand quot; and he's very busy and can only give time windows of morning or afternoon. We agreed he would come out Friday afternoon.
Friday afternoon comes and goes with no visit. I call the office and Rodney tells me he tried and tried to get to my house but there were too many trees down and there was no way to get here. He also says he tried to call...you know, the same number that nobody answered in the morning and the one I told him wouldn't be answered because they don't live here!! From there, he told me the streets he was on and he was on the wrong side of the river. He continued to tell me this was and quot;not his faultand quot; and that his GPS was to blame. I asked if he could come out Saturday and he said and quot;not going to happen. Next week.and quot; I said I was upset because I was missed and not called, then today's mess, and I felt like I was getting the run around. I then said and quot;can I get a commitment from you to be at my house Monday morningand quot;. He again started with the GPS and the trees down. At this point I said and quot;we could debate this all night. I just drove home from work, as did my wife and we got home fine. You could have gotten here.and quot; At this point, he said and quot;I'm sorry, I couldn't get there, call someone else to do the workand quot; and he hung up the phone on me.
Very disappointing and upsetting. Expectations were set and not met by this vendor and I was the one who was to blame.

Several young men arrived on time and proceeded to bring items, rip up the molding and carpeting. Large fans and sump pumps were installed to dry and suck up water, then cleaned floor after it was all dried. When I pointed out missed areas they were very accommodating to do the work. Friendly and hard workers.

I came home before the job was finished and I was really happy with everything they had done. I thought they were really responsible and reasonable. Do not remember job cost.
