 + -1 moreI had been thinking for years about how to transform my ugly patio into something I would actually want to use. The thought of such a project was daunting. When I met Jay from Irish Greens to discuss my thoughts, we hit it off right away. He seemed to know exactly what I was looking for and did not try to push me to expand my project beyond my comfort level. Jay had both creative and practical ideas that met my needs. It was a pleasure to work with Jay, Bill, Joan and the young men who came to help Jay with the install. The new walls, landscaping and pergola have made my patio a thing of beauty. I am proud of how it looks now and know I will enjoy it for years to come. I would not hesitate to give my next project to Irish Greens and to recommend them to friends and family.
Description of Work: Jay at Irish Greens worked with me to design and install improvements to a very ugly slab of concrete some would call a patio. They installed a Techo Bloc sitting wall and planter boxes around the patio, transplanted some existing trees and built a dry stack stone wall around them. Irish Greens also put in some pavers and a boulder wall. There was also accent lighting installed and some landscaping as well. I particularly like the fact that Jay chose to use existing trees and stone from my yard rather than try to sell me product that I did not need. Another part of the project which was subcontracted out was a large pergola. Even though the pergola was installed by another contractor, Jay assisted in choosing the layout of the pergola and kept in touch to make sure I was satisfied with the end result. The other contractor was a pleasure to work with as well.

 + -1 moreJay and his crew are extremely hardworking and do excellent work. Despite the rain and general bad weather, they completed our job only a few days late. They work harder than anyone we've ever seen and pay attention to all the details. Very professional and we will be using them again to finish up a bit of work that we've come up with since they left!
