They were spectacular! They were right on time, same day as I called. The repair was done quickly, correctly and for a very reasonable price. The Harner's provide awesome customer service and are a treasure trove of information regarding major appliances.

After they determined that it was the fan, they called to see if their supplier had one on hand. They did not. Karen said she would make some calls and get back to me within the hour to tell me if they could find a fan. If they were able to locate a fan, they would come the next morning and install it. They gave me a cost of the fan. Karen called back within 30 minutes to tell me they had located a fan and that they would be there the next morning between 10:30 and 11:00 am to install the fan. They came the next morning, installed the fan and turned on the freezer. Within two hours, I was able to put things back in the freezer. I am not back in business. They were great. I would recommend them to anyone who needs appliance repair.

Last summer we purchased a side by side refrigerator from a used appliance dealer that we located on Craig's list to replace our 17 year old refrigerator that had developed many problems. Well, we thought we got a good deal, but after a few days the refrigerator would turn off for no reason, then turn itself back on.The dealer who had sold it to us gave us a hand written warranty that guaranteed the refrigerator's function for 6 months from the date of purchase. When i called the number on the warranty, the man came out to the house, looked at it,then accused me of turning the temperature control dial, lectured me not to touch it, then left. When the refrigerator went off again in 48 hours i called agai9n, but this time the man refused to come out, and told me that there4 was nothi8ng wriong with my refrigerator...ikn the meantime I had all of my perishable items from the freezer in cooler bags on my kitchen floor awaiting the return of my freezer.I called the dealer yet again, and this time I got a very nasty answer telling me to "keep your hands off that dial and you'll be fine." Somehow I did not believe the man, so I phoned Harner's Appliance repair, and this was late on a Friday afternoon.Mrs.Harner answered my call, and asked us if it would be OK if they came within 30 minutes!!!!!!!! Wow, talk about fast response time!!!!!! The Harner's arrived within 30 minutes as promised, took a look at my refrigerator, and in 10 minutes diagnosed the problem., the thermostat was bad.They did not have the replacement part needed on their truck, so they asked me if it would be OK if they could bring it over early the next morning, which was a Saturday...there was no extra charge for coming back on the weekend! Next morning @ 9:45 a.m. received a call from the Harners explaining that they had the part and would be over in 15 minutes, they also reminded us of the fee, payable by cash, or check The Harners arrived on time,as promised, with the part.The repair took 10 minutes. I would recommend Kevin Harner Appliance Service to anyone who needs fast, honest, service. The only drawback to using this company is that they do not accept credit cards...that being said though, they are extremely fair priced.

This small business is one to keep on speed dial. They are extremely friendly on the phone and in person. I am a landlord and don't live at the property that they were coming to fix. So they gave me a two hour window, but they were nice enough to give me a call 20 minutes before they were going to be there, so I could meet them there instead of sit at my rental property for two hours waiting. They didn't have the part on hand (because it's a unique part to go bad in a dryer this new and they can't keep every part in their van), but they found the part that day and came back the very next day to install it at a time that fit me. They didn't even mention a payment the first day when the job wasn't done. It took them 12 minutes the first day to diagnose the issue and about 15 minutes to take the dryer apart and install the new part on the second day. I'm sold on small business owners verses the big guys. It cost $150 to fix, but $65 of that was for the part.

They determined the ice maker was corroded and was leaking into the freezer and refrigerator. They recommended replacement (for $200) or removal and use of ice trays. Our refrigerator is 10 years old, so we decided not to replace the ice maker. They also evaluated the gasket on the freezer door, because the door does not stay closed. They concluded the gasket is in good repair and recommended we shim the refrigerator so that it tilts back a bit more to help the door stay closed. We appreciated the options for the ice maker, the honesty about the gasket and the common sense recommendation to use shims. We will use them again if we need any appliance repaired, and recommend them highly.

Turns out it wasn't the dishwasher. They checked and ran some tests and all turned out well. They did however find the real culprit. The water line to the refrigerator was plastic and cracking. They put a temporary patch on to try to hold us over to a plumber's arrival, which was nice.

I told provided what I could see that was wrong with frig. Provider was able to diagnose problem and bring the correct part with them to repair it. They came out the day after I called. The date of service is approximate.

Dryer stopped working on Sunday. Called Harner's on Monday morning and they were here on Tuesday. Took the dryer apart and noted that the belt was broken. They replaced the belt, cleaned out the dryer and reminded us to clean out the vent pipe. He also showed my husband how to level out the coils on our electric stove. Now the eggs don't run to one side of the pan! They were here about 45 minutes. We were very pleased with the service they provided and the price. I will no longer use Sears for any appliance repair.

I recently had the Harner's over to repair my stove. They showed up on time and were able to quickly diagnose and fix the problem. The service was excellent and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing appliance repair.

I was very impressed with the response time after placing a service call. I received a phone call 15 minutes prior to them arriving. Most service companies give you a window and they just show up if your lucky in that time window without any call prior to arriving. They were quick to diagnose the problem and give me the choice of having them repair the problem or letting me order the part and do the work myself. I liked having the option of either choice to which I decided to have them replace the part. They were back the next business day and replaced the part quickly and ensured that not only did the water dispenser work, but also the ice dispenser. Again they called me 15 minutes prior to arriving. I will be happy to refer this company to anyone I know looking for a good, reliable appliance service company!

Replaced ice maker and part on door. Provided me the approximate cost prior to coming. They were prompt and professional. Warranty their work for a year. Would call them again.

When we phoned the Harners to make an appointment for service on our electric dryer, we asked them if they would also take time to assess an error code problem we've been having with our electric range. The husband/wife team arrived promptly on the next day we were available and focused on the dryer. The part they needed was on the truck and the repair was completed neatly and efficiently. The dryer works like new. At no extra charge, they diagnosed the faulty part in our 20 year-old range and offered to see if a replacement was still available. That evening, Karen Harner called to say that the MF no longer offered the part. She said it might be found online via the secondary market and offered their services to install it if we found one. We located the part but decided it was too expensive to invest in our old range. It is time to replace the range. It was so helpful to have a diagnosis and information from experts to help us make this decision after many months of dealing with an unpredictable error code. We are very appreciative, satisfied customers of this company.

I could not speak more highly of the Harners! They arrived on time, quickly diagnosed and repaired the problem, advised me on what to do to avoid future problems, thoroughly cleaned the area afterward, and charged a very fair and reasonable price for the part and their services. Plus, they were very friendly and it was a pleasure to have them in my home. I am very happy to know I have such reliable people to call on in the future. Look no further if you are in need of an appliance repair - I would give them an A++ across the board!

I called them THIS morning. They were able to come on the same day. They knew immediately what the problem was, showed me, and explained pricing before they proceeded. They were courteous and appeared trustworthy. I will recommend them to friends and neighbors too.

We really like them. They were wonderful, and very nice people. They replied to our phone calls on time. They showed up. They identified the problem really quick, went right to work, and did everything. The refrigerator is like 17 years old, so I guess the parts are wearing out, and they educated me about keeping the coils clean. They put the refrigerator back, cleaned up and went out. We really had a good experience with them. We will use them again.

Arrived on time.. same day as call ( within 2.0 hrs. of call ). Analyzed failing part. Tracked down part for 15 yr. old refrigerator. Picked up up replacment part. Verified that refigerator was working properly prior to leaving. Very courteous and professional. Very reasonable considering that several suspected parts had to be tested prior to discovering a failure that they had not previously encountered with an Amana refigerator.Highly recommend .

* * UNFORTUNATELY, I HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY * * We really liked this couple when setting up the appointment and during the in-home repair of our gas dryer (which totaled $180.20). Our gas dryer worked, but the drum stopped turning. They disassembled the entire dryer and fixed the problem. Yea!!! However, the repair work went a little south the first time we used it the night of the repair . . . In the end, everything would have turned out fine if it weren't for the negative, defensive, and accusing response I got when I called to discuss the problem that cropped up after the repair: Something must have come loose in the disassemble-and-reassemble process that caused the timer to stop turning. The dryer would run continually because the timer wouldn't count down after the repair. I called that same night and left a message. When Mrs. Harner returned the call, she told my wife there was nothing they did that would cause the timer to stop working, and that it would likely be at least $170 to fix. To ease the pain, she offered to buy back the parts at $85 so we could just buy a new dryer. I called to discuss it with them, and got a very negative reaction from Mrs. Harner. She would not even remotely entertain the idea that they could have caused the timer problem while repairing the drum, even though they disassembled the ENTIRE dryer, including the timer control panel. I asserted that the problem was very likely caused when taking apart the dryer. I wanted it fixed or my money back for the labor (not the parts; I would pay for the parts). After much arguing and defensive statements, Mrs. Harner went on to say that she doesn't know if we?re trying to scam them to fix a problem that already existed. They finally agreed to come out and look at the dryer at no additional charge (which I think they intended to do from the beginning, but their defensiveness and suggestions that we just need to buy a new dryer set the stage for a bad experience and a 20-minute argument; they should have just said they?ll come out and take a look, THEN give the worst-case scenario and defend their work ethics). At any rate, they came out today, and it turns out the problem was their fault. They found that the circuit board connected to the timer did come loose during the disassemble-and-reassemble process. According to my wife, they apologized profusely and said they weren't aware those things could come loose. That?s great, but for me, the damage is already done. I won?t be using this company again, and when someone asks me for a recommendation, I will suggest they steer clear of Kevin Harner Appliance Services Company.

Loved the professionalism and service provided. They took my call, on a Monday, and by Tuesday morning, were at my house and my washer problem was fixed in 15 minutes. I highly recommend them to anyone needing appliance repairs.

Today around 11am I tried a failed at cleaning the lint out of my dryer myself. In the process I knocked two of the legs off of my dryer. I called Keven Harner Appliance Services Co because of their excellent rating on Angieslist. When I called they said they were on their way to another call but would be there as soon as they could. By 1230pm they were at my home fixing and cleaning my dryer. When they arrived I was very happy to find that Kevin Harner Appliance Services Co is a husband and wife team! I am a stay at mother of an infant and am often weary about having service men come into my home when my husband is not home. They were friendly and quickly completed the requested work. They appeared to be very honest and gave me tips on how to prevent damage to my clothes washer so that I could avoid having to have it be repaired. They also took a look at my dishwasher for free. I am very satisfied with my experience and will be calling them again in the future for my appliance related needs.

They arrived on time and worked very efficiently. They had the necessary parts with them when they arrived. They tested the washer before they left and ensured that it was working properly.

My call was answered promptly by Karen, and an appointment set for the next morning (I was really pleased to be scheduled so quickly. They arrived promptly and fixed the refrigerator leak very quickly. Then assessed the dishwasher cleaned out the traps, changed a pump gasket and cleaned the dishwasher. They were conscious of the age of my appliances, I didn't want to spend much on them, but I wanted to get at least another year or two of use from them. I thought the amount charged was extremely reasonable. I would not hesitate to use their service again, and to recommend them to friends

I called Kevin Harner Appliance Co. and spoke to Karen Harner; I explained my situation with my washing machine, Karen was awesome over the phone, she made an appointment the next day for her and her husband to come and see the problem. Kevin and Karen arrived to my house time, very friendly couple. Kevin and Karen were quick and professional and explained exactly what was wrong with my washing machine, along with how they fixed it , they were straight to the point, which I love. I will definitely contact them again should I have any problems with my washer or dryer and I will definitely refer them to my family and friends.
