Be very very careful in dealing with Phil-Allen and Kim Bachman. I believe she is a scam artist. In March, 2019, Ms. Bachman came to my property and we signed a contract for Phil-Allen to complete a porch repair for $2500. She took a deposit of $1250. Months went by with excuse after excuse as to why they could not complete the work. Finally in December 2019, after no work at all was completed, Ms. Bachman texted me to say my contract was canceled. I requested the return of my $1250 several times. I sent a demand letter. No response. I had my attorney send a demand letter. No response. I am currently in the process of suing Kim Bachman and Phil-Allen, which will cost more time and money. The Pennsylvania Attorney General has opened a fraud investigation against this company as Ms. Bachman apparently has a pattern of taking people's deposits, doing nothing, and refusing to return the deposits (check the reviews for Phil-Allen on the BBB's website). Do yourself a favor and stay far away and tell all your friends to stay away. It's a real shame that this long-time local company has been destroyed by a dishonest person.
