RDS PAVING & SEALCOATING

The work was satisfactory.

The crew arrived promptly on the date scheduled. They performed the required work after checking in with me. The sealcoating was performed in a prompt and efficient manner. There were no problems and departed after they taped off the area. Job well done.

When the crew arrived, the crew chief discovered a leak in my rain gutter that was causing moisture to collect in a large area near the house. He advised against sealing the driveway until the wetness could be eliminated. I took his advice, had the gutter replaced , and they returned soon after to do the job. All went smoothly, and I am happy with the job.

Went well, job looks beautiful, very neat application, no wasted motion or time once they started.
The ONLY complaint I have was that after the initial sales call and estimate was done by them on May 3 and the schedule was set for the work to be done late May/early June, and after I called them and accepted their bid on May 9, I never heard from them again. I waited patiently until I finally called them June 18, whereupon they scheduled the actual work for the coming Friday, 6/21, when it was done.

I can't say enough good things about RDS. The estimator was very accommodating when it came to scheduling a visit, was exceedingly polite and helpful in describing options for the project. They even came in as the lower of two bids that I had done.d
I wasn't there for the actual paving, but I understand they arrived early as promised ,and by the time I returned in the afternoon, the everything had been completed. It looked great!

Job was done at the start of the season so waiting for the asphalt plants to start up was an issue out of the contractors control. Once the job was started the crew arrived and was friendly and efficient. They removed the old driveway and expanded the foot print without any damage to surrounding areas. The new driveway was then installed and looks great. The contractor was very helpful in prepping a trench across the driveway to allow for a pipe to be installed for a sprinkler system.

BJ, one of the owners was very responsive to my questions and concerns. His staff took great care in making sure the job was done to my level of satisfaction. I highly reccommend their company to anyone in need of this service.

There were 2 things we wanted to change about our driveway. First, we wanted to add some parking since we don't have street parking available. Second, we needed some help handling rain. Our driveway slopes down towards the garage, so when it rains hard, the water runs into the garage. We had a couple of companies come out and give estimates in March for an addition and drain. BJ was able to come out within a day or two to take a look at what we wanted done. We decided to go with RDS paving and after I got the permit for the addition, I signed the contract and sent in a deposit. The one part of the experience that I don't think went as well was the scheduling. The deposit was sent in the middle of March, and as of that time I was told that if the weather cooperates, we might have the work done as early as April. I was warned that there was a lot of work to start the year so it might not be until May that the expansion is done. I know their entire schedule depends on weather, but I was disappointed that the work didn't start until almost mid-June. They cut out part of the old driveway, dug the area for the new expansion, installed the drain, and paved the new driveway. It did rain on one of the days they were going to work, so it took about a week to get everything done (I think they were here for 3 days).
As far as the quality of the work, we are very happy. It has been almost 3 months since the work was done, and it is nice having the extra parking. Even better, now when it rains hard the drain has worked very well so far. You can watch the water stream down the driveway and right into the drain. Overall, we are very happy with the work that was done and would use them again.

I need driveway repaved, as it was in bad shape and I was selling my house. Everything went like clockwork!

Responsive, punctual, and appeared professional; I was not home when sealing was completed. Only issue was some overspray resulting in unevenness and some color difference with rest of driveway; it appears only cosmetic. I did not mention issue to company, just not a problem I was worried to much about. Rest of driveway was done very well, with no overspray on house or concrete. Overall well worth the price.

They left a message on my home voicemail. I was making dinner and they showed up to my surprise. I informed them I wanted an appointment. They had already done the measuring and they said they send me a report in 3-4 days which I never got. I called back and they said there was a mix up and they'd' get it to me in a few days and I still haven't received it

The scheduler was very polite and prompt in returning my phone call. They arrived earlier then scheduled to begin work, they weeded and edged the driveway in preparation for the job. They also took the time to discuss the condition of the driveway with me and explained the procedure for filling in the cracks. I was extremely pleased with the quality of the work and would definitely recommend or use them again in the future.

Really nothing else to report. Did a good job.

y July 23, 2011 he left a message on my machine with a quote for the requested service along with an 800 number at which to contact him with any related questions. When I returned his phone call on Monday the 25th he was very polite and answered all of my questions professionally and immediately. When I asked about scheduling service he politely explained that to hold down costs he would reserve my price and contact me again when he was booking jobs in my vicinity. When I asked how long the wait might be he said probably within three to four weeks and not to worry about the Angie's list coupon expiring in July. I have agreed to the offered price and am waiting for a call informing me of when I am scheduled for service.

Vince was very professional and helpful with questions I had about the job. He was always prompt in returning emails and phone calls. The job was completed on time and looks fantastic, I am very pleased. I will have them back in the future to reseal.

It went wonderfully. They came the day we left for a vacation. We came back to a beautiful new-looking driveway! They left the bill in our mailbox that we could pay them upon our return.

The experience was very good. They kept me in the loop completely. I will have them back in two years for the next resealing.

The estimate was very fair on the initial visit. I was actually surprised with the price considering the cost of fuel today. They did not show up on the date scheduled, but in their defense they were behind schedule due to weather days before. Once they got here the professionalism was excellent. Everything went exactly as Shane describe when he arrived. He provided excellent information afterwards regarding the condition of the driveway before application and what to look for afterwards. I was extremely pleased. I would certainly use them again.
