Erik's Clean Sweep

Erik returned my call in a timely manner, showed up on time, and did a great job.

I called Erik and he immediately answered my call. I call on a Thursday and was able to schedule cleaning and inspection of two chimneys for the following Sunday (Very quick scheduling despite being the start of the winter season). Erik arrived on time with an assistant. Both of them were very professional and considerate of our two year old's nap schedule. They laid runners down to protect the carpet and moved furniture as needed. They even placed pads on their ladders to protect our gutters from damage. They finished cleaning and inspection of both chimneys in about an hour and a half. Very efficient crew and I had confidence in their work. I paid the exact price I was quoted. I will not hesitate to use Erik's Clean Sweep next year.

They made a thorough inspection inside and out and made us feel very confident in going forward with using our fireplace. (We recently bought this home). We will use Erik again in a few years when it's time for another inspection.

Erik and Mike did a great job.  After getting no answer to a request for quote from three other companies, Erik called the next day after I completed the form on his website.  He gave me an approximate quote over the phone and when I mentioned the height of my chimney and roof he indicated that there might be an additional amount.  
Erik called a few days later as he was in the area and wanted to look at the height of the roof and chimney.
They arrived on a Saturday morning (11 a.m.) and started work.  They were both courteous and professional and did a great job covering the hearth and making sure things were kept tidy.
It was a great experience with Erik's Clean Sweep.  I am so happy to have gotten someone to come to the house and install a chimney cap to reduce any further potential birds, rain etc in the chimney.  Especially as tall as the chimney is on the property.

great - arrived on time - took care to minimize dust

Erik did a great job cleaning our chimney. He arrived on time and was extremely careful about keeping the family room clean and free from chimney dust. The damper was missing a part and he told me exactly what I needed. He even made a picture of the part which I was able to order off the internet. I would definitely recommend his services.

Two people showed up on time, kept the place clean and cleaned up when they were finished. I thought the rates were very reasonable give the amount of time that it took. I was pleased that I was able to get an appointment within 3 days, but remember this is not the peak of chimney sweeping season.

After cleaning and inspecting our chimney, Erik also took time to instruct us and give us advice on using the fireplace. He recommended a company for chimney repair and was very thorough with everything we talked about. Extremely knowledgeable. 

Erik and his associate called to let me know they were on their way and arrived at my house on time. Both were very professional, knowledgeable and polite. They brought drop cloths to protect my floor, my house stayed nice and clean, the whole job took less than an hour. I will definitely use Erik's Clean Sweep again.

He was fabulous, I would recommend him to anybody. They were very friendly, neat and they did a great job.

Erik and his assistant were extremely personable and very patient with all of my questions. They took great care in making sure that they left everything clean. They were considerate of keeping the noise level down since my daughter works night shift and was sleeping upstairs.
This is the second time they have cleaned our chimney and I would definitely not hesitate to use them again.

We had a rough start when Erik did not return my phone call or email since we were in a time crunch for house inspection. Erik did call on Monday and apologized for not returning my call and also not having an out of office message on his phone. Erik was able to come on short notice so we were grateful. Erik was very good at explaining the aspects of the fireplace and the condition of the interior. Erik was gracious enough to look at the chimney in the garage even though I hadn't mentioned it on the phone. Even thou we had a rocky start, I was very pleased with Erik's work and wouldn't hesitate to have him do more work for us.

Everything went great.  Erik is awesome.  He is very personable and overall a super nice guy.  He and a worker of his came to my house exactly on time.  They swept the Chimeny Flu's, showed me the buildup in my furnace, resealed my furnace pipe back into place, and used blankets over the living room floor, leaving everything cleaner than they found it.  I had filled the ash storage area under the fire place after years of service, I told Erik to let that go, but he insisted that it was part of the service and cleaned it out.  It was an excellent experience.

I was very pleased with Erik's Clean Sweep. I would defiantly recommend and will use them again in the future.

Erik and an assistant showed up on time and completed the cleaning as agreed upon. He also took the time to get on the roof and check out the chimney cap and the masonry work, unlike my last chimney sweep.
