On August 26,2008 I paid Salaske's Mobile Home Service LLC to coat my mobile home roof. I noticed on January 31, 2009 that my ceiling on the mobile home was leaking, I called and left a message explaining what the problem was I did not hear back from the company. I called again on February 2, 2009 at 9.30 a.m. and I explained to Mrs. Salaske, who answered the phone, what was wrong. She told me that he would get back to me. I didn t hear back from him until 6.30 pm that evening. I explained to him that my roof was leaking in the living room and he said he wasn t sure why it was leaking and that he would not be able to come out until February 4, 2009. On the day that he came out I showed him where the ceiling was leaking in the living room and he stated to me that he was not sure why it was leaking and that maybe it was from a leaf, twig or maybe a branch. When he looked at the ceiling he stated that was old damage because the ceiling was painted. We went outside so he could look at the roof and he also stated to me that my mobile home was the oldest in the park and that also could be the problem. He was only here for 5 minutes then stated he would come back in the spring. Then he left with out even going on the roof to see what the problem was. Since then I have seen him in the trailer park at least 4 times and he never stopped to see what the problem was and I now have noticed that the roof is leaking in the laundry room. I did call my insurance company and had a adjuster come out here to look at the problem and was advised that the roof that I paid him to coat was done improperly and was also told that the damage to the ceiling in the living room was not old damage as he claimed. The insurance company sent a roofing company out here and they are the ones that put a tarp on the roof to try and stop it from causing more damage. I was advised that I needed to have the whole roof redone over again and was advised of the cost of the damage done to ceiling. My insurance company sent out a letter that explains all that needs to be done and the cost. I sent a registered letter to Salaske s Mobile Home Service LLC to advise him of what the insurance company told me and to request payment for the work to be done by someone else since he was unable to due the work right the first time and for the money that I have paid him.
