Company responded quickly to my email. They agreed to get the permit for us for a very small fee. We were too busy to do it ourselves.Once they received the permit ok, they came when scheduled. They did an excellent job of removing the old oil from the tank, removing the tank, and cleaning up after themselves. They worked well with the inspector who came by during the work.very professional, very easy to work with.in

The whole procedure went very smoothly. The two workers were polite and efficient. They cut the tank up, removed the oil and took the pieces to the truck. No spillage occurred and they swept up after the task was completed.

EMG was very easy to work with. Came out promptly for an estimate (in the evening) and completed the work on-time and at the quoted price. They were very informative about the potential risks associated with removing the tile. They explained that it was 'highly likely' that the tiles contained some small percentage of asbestos based on the type and age of the tiles, saving me at least $75 in testing costs up front. In addition, they provided the quote with follow-up air quality monitoring as on option. Based on the small area and low risk of exposure, we decided that we didn't really need the follow up monitoring. EMG was very professional and did exactly what we expected.

It turns out that Mr. Spiess only took care of the oil tank removal, but the men he subcontracted to remove the asbestos did a fine job and everything checked out ok according to air sample tests. The men he hired weren't extremely thorough, but I was able to find a couple of fittings they missed and everything worked out ok. After the work was done, I needed test results quickly in order to begin a renovation. Mr. Spiess rushed the samples to the lab asap, and called me sooner than expected (at the earliest possible time!) with the results. One problem that I had was having phone calls returned, but when we were finally in touch and scheduled the work, everything was fine.

It went very well. Ron is very informative, patiently explained all angles and aspects of the job to me. He was very reassuring over the phone that my asbestos was not going to kill me. He explained the worst case scenario and best case scenario. Then he told me that Steve from ACI-Tech would come by and take a look at what the problem was the next day. After the asbestos was removed, Ron came, tested the air, was very kind to talk to we chatted about anything and everything. He got the testing done very quickly and called me a few hours later to let me know that the asbestos lever were very very low, way below the problem level. I really appreciate that he got back to me so quickly.

In planning to grade and landscape our new back yard, we were faced with the disappointing discovery, that we had bought a house with (undisclosed!) significant hidden remnants of an inground concrete pool in the back yard. It was also established that up to 4 feet of earth laced, chock full with the pool debris and construction rubble had been piled onto the yard and pool remnants to hide it all, suffocating and threatening two 75 yr old oaks and two dogwoods, among several other trees. EMG Remediation Services made several site visits at no charge and helped us to craft a strategy and approach, to go in after all of this and clean it up and haul it out. They collaborated with our arborist to ensure the safety of the trees and to minimize impact through hand digging combined w/ the use of heavier equipment. What had been a nagging nightmare for us was solved and accomplished professionally with great attention to our needs and wishes and the safety of our yard environment.
