I have been going to Jeff's for over a year now and every time I leave their shop my car is running excellent.
It is very difficult to find mechanics you can trust and who really pay attention to the quality of their work. My experience with Jeff's is that, yes, they are a higher priced, but they do excellent work and are trustworthy. You get what you pay for when it comes to mechanics.
The last time I was in the shop, I needed state inspection and my brakes were pulsating. I inquired about getting new brakes. (the previous time I had new brakes from another shop they were clicking, grinding, and super dusty. I knew they used cheap parts and re-used some of the old parts). Jeff's called me later in the morning and said the brake pads were fine and the rotors could be turned, which would save me a lot versus getting new brakes. They would recondition everything to be like new. OK with me. Later they called me again and said that when they were turning the rotors they found one of the steering knuckles was slightly bent. Instead of thinking they were just upselling, I knew they had finally figured out a problem I had for a long time with the car vibrating at around 60mph. I expected to spend around $100 for oil change and state inspection, and maybe more for brakes. The bill ended up way more than I expected, but the brakes are like new and the hub vibration is gone. They even loaned me a nice car for the day.
I recommend Jeff's if you want your car repaired right.

A pleasure as usual. The repair service at Jeffs is outstanding. Ive been going to Jeffs for about 2 years for service on my toyota highlander. Sometimes my finances are a little tight and the price for the service is a little higher then other shops but I trust the guys at Jeffs completely. At Jeffs you get everything you pay for and then some. They are experienced knowledgeable and trustworthy. From the moment I go in from beginning to end everyone there is informative respectful and friendly. Everytime i leave the shop my confidence in Jeffs builds. I dont hear any strange noises my vehicle feels right I'm confidant driving and if there would be something Im uncomfortable with they resolve it asap. It may seem very minimal to some but it has to be said Ive left my purse there so I could walk on the path while my vehicle was being serviced had a cold n been offered tissues had my water bottle filled for me etc. and thats to say the least. When it comes to auto repair AND service I truly cant say enough good things about them. Ive never been disappointed or had any issue unresolved. Its a great feeling when you KNOW youre being provided with the services you expect and some that you dont they go above and beyond. Thanks to all the guys especially Brett Ryan and Dave at Jeffs youre the best

We have been to Jeff's numerous times with two different vehicles. Frankly I was shocked to see the two comments here, they are diametrically opposed to our experiences with Jeff's.
We have had them do brake work, diagnostic work, suspension work and inspections. They have never quoted work that was un-neccessary and have always thoroughly diagnosed any issues that we have have brought to them. They do thoroughly inspect your vehicle and that will turn up issues that you are not aware of from time to time. Quality mechanics and repair work are not free, you get what you pay for.
But I have never had them insisted that something needed to be done or they wouldn't release my vehicle. I'd much rather rather have someone look at the whole car and tell me veerything that needed attention, rather than just band-aiding a small problem and leaving issues that will lead to a larger problem down the road.
My wife has twice gone in there with questions and they have put the car up on the lift and checked things out and not charged her. This last time she tore the rear bumper loose on a high curb. The damage went beyond a mechanical repair and they referred her to an excellent body shop in the area. The wired the bumper up so it was not flapping and again did not charge her.
This is a good reputable shop and will be well taken care of if you have your vehicle serviced there. We highly recommend them!!

-I decided to try Jeff's Automotive because someone I work with recommended them. They were able to pick up my car while I was at work free of charge so I gave them a shot.
-I told them I needed an oil change, to check my front tires for wear, and a wheel alignment because it was always pulling to the right.
-The guy picked up my car in the parking lot where I work and about halfway through the day called my work phone. First thing he said to me was that my rear wheel cylinders are heavily leaking brake fluid and need replacement. I told him that i havent seen any leaks in the driveway and he told me that I have no idea what I am talking about. He stated that the car IS NOT ALLOWED to leave because it is not road worthy. So i figure during his inspection, he broke it. I had them fix that...
-Next thing he said was that I needed a new serpentine belt because its cracked and will break any minute. I told him there is no way I am getting that kind of work done today and I did not even ask him to look at that in the first place. I did not get this fixed. I also got a second opinion on the belt 3 months later and they said there was no issue with it. This is now about 1 year later as I write this review, and I have not had any issues with my serpentine belt.
-He said I needed all new tires, and when I said that one of them is fairly new he was like and quot;Oh, sorry I missed thatand quot;. I got 2 new tires from him and they were a rip off...Worse! He did not even fix the issue with my car pulling to the right after doing an alignment because he sold me directional tires and did not tell me about it.
Bottom Line: Do not go here, find a nice place nearby rated A or B. This guy is looking for ways to fix your car where it was never even broken in the first place. Angies list is helpful, I wish I knew this existed a year ago.

I brought my vehicle to Jeff's because it was close and my brakes were not working properly. They held my vehicle and then came back with the estimate to do some work including emissions testing, etc. which admittedly I needed done. Wanted to charge me $1400. Another friend's mechanic shop came and got the vehicle and repaired it. The actual repairs needed, including an emissions and inspection was less than $300. Jeff's also charged me a fee for looking at my vehicle and wouldn't release it until I paid. I don't remember how much exactly - I estimate at around $50. I will not use them again. They were professional but still in good conscience....how are you going to charge those marked up rates on an older vehicle?
