They are reliable in an emergency but, check your prices. The price can be hit or miss.

I was recommended to them by a friend who had used them before.  They provide good service and answered all my questions that I asked them.  They were knowledgeable and knew what they were talking about.

They are a little expensive. But they come out and do what they say they are going to do. They are very reliable and on time. They will do extra work if they see something that needs to be tended to without raising the price. They do not charge for the extra time if it is a reasonable small service that needs to be done.

Overall, despite being prompt and courteous, cost us much money, cold, aggravation and uncertainty for a brand new, expensive furnace.

Water Heater Repair, very price with the service. The component they installed is less than 50 bucks but got charged in very high doallrs for 1 11/2 hr of overall trouble shoot and part replacement. They initially suggested to replace the entite water heater without thoroughly looking what the problem is. I would recommend some one else due to he price point but overall it works and they know what they are doing. Probably that's what the premium is for.

They came out the next day after we called.  They were very courteous and clean.  They were concerned with tracking things in the house.  They came in, checked it out, quoted us a reasonable price, and had the work done in an hour.

My A/C inside unit was leaking...I thought it was a clogged drain.  I finally called E.Stipe, and they came that same day to check it out.  The technician was very friendly and professional.  He gave me bad news that the problem was an expensive part had corroded beyond repair (evaporator coils) and the only thing to be done was to replace the entire coil unit and outside unit to match.  I searched forums and concluded his assessment was accurate.  It just sucked because it would be an unexpected $6K expense...my research showed me that $2K/ton (I needed 3 tons) was typical.  They came the next week and did all the work in the morning.  They were friendly, quick, and efficient.  The quality of the install is superb...I have confidence I wont have any problems with this in the future.  These guys are pros...I would use them again

Service was excellent. Technician advised replacing lavatory faucet - gave price. General information for servicing other pieces.

Great vendor. Called before they arrived, and arrived on time. Did all that we asked and more. Explained what they did every step of the way. Would highly recommend them to other homeowners.

I was wondering if the early bird special was a way to get in and charge for 'extra's, but that was not the case. There were no additional charges at all. The advertised price was the full price.  Communication was great. The person who booked my appointment was friendly and helpful. I received a call the day before (on Sunday) to confirm my appointment and another call about 30 minutes prior to his arrival to let me know he was on the way.  The tech arrived on time and wearing disposable shoe covers so as not to track any dirt into my house. The tech spent about an hour going over the system inside and out, checking voltage, amp draw, tolerances, etc. He answered every question I had. He went over what he did and explained things to look out for,like what could happen if filters are not changed. The tech was appeared to be very thorough and knowledgeable. I have nothing by good things to say and would all them back for anything I needed. 

His work was good. There were some discrepancies. When I had spoken with them to do the quote they said that they would cut it level to the floor, and when they actually came they did not cut it level to the floor. They cut it as much as they could go with the tool that they had. The tool that they had could cut the pipes but it wasn?t level with the floor the way that he explained it would be. They just said that they didn?t have the right tool to do that, so my husband was very upset about that. He feels that we should get more money off from the price because they didn?t do what they quoted. He was supposed to call them and work that out with them which he hasn?t yet done. So it?s his own fault. The price was good. I might use their services again in the future if they fix up everything the right away.

Edwin Stipe Inc was very good. They are very honest. I got a few different quotes and they were the best I had gotten. I could actually speak with them. They all spoke English. They seemed to know their stuff and their prices were really fair.

Service has been excellent from start to finish. They were immediately responsive to phone call(2 other companies were not) and despite not being familiar with the model on which I had done research, found out all about it and installed it quickly and cleanly. Explained everything, including financing, etc. Free service the first year. Called and they responded immediately. The techs are very professional and while here, the office called to verify they were here and if any problems.

I had a good experience with this company. They came out and they did good work and a very good installation and did the work at a fair price and were able to help us get financing the only problem is that now we cant find the permit for their work.

Not much to tell, they showed up on time (called to say they were on their way) replaced the old hot water heater with a new model and offered me additional advice on getting the best performance and longevity out of this appliance. When they finished they reviewed the job with me, cleaned up the work area and were on their way. They were both dressed in clean company uniforms, had picture ID clipped to their shirts and were very friendly and knowledgeable.

He did good work. I signed up for one of their special plans. I'm happy with what they have been doing.

A different technician from the original person first brought a part that was incorrect, but returned to his shop and brought back the right part. It was installed quickly and the boiler unit was checked to be sure it was operating properly. Because of the difficult circumstances surrounding this situation the company extended a discount to us and a company official called to offer an apology. It ended on a much better note than we anticipated, although our entire Labor Day weekend - and planned day trip - were ruined.
