TLC Drain, Sewer, and Water Cleanup

Excellent service.....prompt and honest. Would recommend these guys anytime.

It was a surprise. The site says free diagnostic, I was asked to pay $200 for a diagnosis and they "settled" for a side charge of $49. The supposed issue was a capacitor - $9.75 and minutes to replace. $390. The issue is not the capacitor. They should stick with feces.

We had a problem with a toilet leaking in our basement. We were referred to TLC Drain and Sewer and called them. They came out the next day and while they were able to find the cause of our original problem, ended up flooding our kitchen by not properly reinstalling pipes under our kitchen sink and then leaving the water running for a prolonged period to test, which then leaked down and saturated our newly finished basement as well. They did find the cause of our original problem, but then created many more problems for us and yet still charged us hundreds of dollars for their service despite creating thousands of dollars worth of damage to our home. I would never recommend them.

It went great. Mike/TLC responded almost immediately to my service call. It was later in the day and I was offered an appointment right away but I did not have an emergency so I requested the following morning. As promised, the service tech call the next morning letting me know he was about 20 minutes out. He showed up, reviewed my issue in the basement and began to clear out the clogged drain. The tech touched base with me a couple times during the job to let me know how it was going. Once the drain was cleared, I was asked to flush the toilet numerous times so he could assure the water was flowing properly in the pipe. When the work was finished, the job was reviewed with me and payment was handled on the I-pad on the front lawn. I would not hesitate to call TLC/Mike again if needed. I have also referred TLC several times over the past few months to family & friends.

Very good experience with TLC - their “pipe burst” technology worked great and saved a ton of landscaping cost. They handled any bumps in the road professionally and were terrific to work with.

Called on two separate occasions about an emergency issue with a sewage backup and they did not respond to my voicemails, or even follow up within the next few days. This is a shame because I had a very positive experience with them the first time I used them in October 2014.

Sewer water backed up into my basement, utility sink, washing machine. I was frantic. TLC was recommended to me by an Angies Plummer. I called at 4:45 and spoke to the owner. TLC arrived by 6:15. I was met by Bill and Bill. They were friendly, efficient and professional. My drain was flushed in no time. A huge relief. Bill made sure all drains were functioning properly and have me advice on how to clean up the mess.

Our only toilet is clogged and unusable. I was referred to this company by another plumber who knew he could not do the work today. When I initially called them at about 7:30 AM. I was given a scheduled arrival of between 1 and 3 PM, and was told if there were any problems in meeting that timeframe, I would receive a call.
By 2:50PM, when they had not arrived, I called back. The scheduler told me she would contact the technician to see what his timeframe for arrival was and call me back. One hour later, having not heard from her, I called again. She promised this time, at about 4PM, to get back to me in ten minutes. Thirty minutes later, still no call. I called again and now I got voice mail. Fifteen minutes later, another call, voice mail again and I cancelled the appointment. As I was finishing the call with another company to arrange service, TLC finally got back to me. She was apologetic, explaining the tech was on a major sewer collapse job and attempts to find another tech to get to me were unavailing.
Frankly, I find this all unacceptable. When I called at 3PM, they should have known that getting anyone to me today was going to be impossible. In fact, if they knew what kind of job was scheduled for the morning hours, they should have been able to determine that they couldn't possibly get to me today. The scheduler swore that this was a very unusual situation, etc., but that is simply not satisfactory.

I called TLC because my toilet overflowed from a clog and the first plumber said I'd need to call a sewer company because the clog was between my house and the sewer main. TLC arrived within the hour and Aaron was very prompt, kind, and courteous. He resolved the issue quickly and cleaned up after himself. He also to the time to explain what caused the clog and what I needed to do to keep it from happening again. He explained the other services TLC offered but was not pushy and didn't try to sell me on other items I didn't need. I would definitely use TLC again.
