It was excellent. They were different people and everything was different, but the workers are very trained. The service is excellent, but they were quoting me the same price as the rest of the companies I had contacted to give me estimates. I said no, that doesn't work. I got a better price after two months. They were different people (than the ones who earlier had installed another unit at my house), but they were still very good.

The whole thing is the salesperson is trying to get his commission higher than they were .Because of that any ordinary person would not be happy with them, but fortunately for me I do my homework, I checked with 10 people so I talked with the boss and told them I did not want any stories and told them the last price I could give. I was talking directly with Horizon headquarters and they said yes. They said they would send somebody and I am very happy with that. The whole thing cost about $8,500 and there was a $2,000 rebate. Their work is very beautiful and they don't make stories because it is a huge company. They just do their job and use the proper materials to make the situation right. They don't cut corners or try to tag you for everything small thing they do. They check out the situation of your house. I got higher quotes from a number of other companies. They gave very good, professional service.Out of the four I had they were the best price. It took them one day to get it installed. The communication and interaction were very good. They went above and beyond to make sure all of the piping was done to my satisfaction.

I had one put in and have to keep it on contract with them. The guy came out, he was friendly and cleaned up after himself. He came to me with a thorough inspection. I wish they could have serviced me back in June. Price is kind of high. If you have a problem they will come right away. This was an appointment, I never expected them to be that busy that I had to wait. The come on time.

They explained the units they just installed or me and gave me what the difference was between the new ones and the old ones. Price, I don't know what other ones, I guess it would be average. When they came to put in the new units, they made sure to haul out the old units.

Drain Cleaning

The parts would've cost between $20-$40 at Home Depot. Horizon was going to charge us $379 (they waived an additional $49.50 for just showing up) to do work that took the service provider about 30 minutes to do. I called a supervisor as the work was being done and he admitted to me that they receive several calls about extraordinarily high fees for their work. Both the supervisor and the service provider pointed out I am paying for gas in the truck, the electricity in the office, having 24-hour service, etc. The supervisor finally offered a coupon for $92.50 off their charge. I still feel overcharged for a simple service they provided. I feel that any other plumber would charge less for this job.

We have a contract with them. They're very expensive. It took about 2 days. They took the whole unit out and put the new units in.

Everything went very well. It was only a minor thing that I had, they put in a new furnace, and in doing do, I have furnaces side by side, they cut a drain pipe and did not notice it. so I disovering some water coming down from the air conditioning that didn't do any damage. I called them and they were very responsive. I don't think I would mark them down because the furnaces were very close toegther and there were 3 people working, I don't know that in cutting the line that they knew it. They did a nice installation. I would use them again in the future.

They come twice a year to inspect and provide maintenance services. They come once in the winter for the heating and once in the summer for the A/C. They put in a new unit last year. They are extremely good. We have had one problem with them that they corrected very quickly. One time when they came, they managed to knock a few things down and did not bother cleaning up. I think they were just in a rush. To me it is not how badly you screw up, it is how you recover and they did recover quickly thought. We have a maintenance contract to cover that and a discount for any parts that they give us. If they have to come out, we do not get charged but we do get a discount on any parts. It is a good deal. It is not the cheapest by a long shot but we have tried several and we settled on them years ago. The value is good but the price is high.

I was surprised because the sell about them is high priced but for the special it was $99. The one drain did have an issue  and they came back out with in 30 days like they guarantee with no charge very prompt i needed it done like yesterday one of those type deals. They were right on it. I was very impressed with they're timely-ness and they're professional put little booties on. I thought they were good. Again this was a special related to that the price was excellent, but that was a predetermined special. I've heard in other areas they can be extremely expensive. But for me, again I was very pleased. I wish I could give them 2 A's for responsiveness. They had people out that day. They ask you they have a team of drain cleaners. The dispatch, they were there that day. That was impressive.
