The entire transaction went very well. I was quite pleased and would certainly contact them to bid on any roofing work (probably will in the near future since I live in a different house and the roof is certainly in its 'twilight years'.

Wohler never called back. quess it wasnt a big enough job .someone else got my 2500.00 for doing the job. they could have at least returned my call.

I had no problems at all. They were very professional and came when they said they would. They cleaned up very well. Their price was competitive.

I have used Wohler for roof work for more than a decade now. About 10 years ago, they replaced the roof on my house and did a great job. They really paid attention to detail and did a great job with copper flashing. Every time I have someone do work on my house, they ask who did the roof and then remark on what a nice job it is, and how the details are done right. Wohler has come to fix flashing issues that other people screwed up. For instance- I had an addition put on, and the contractor flashed it wrong, so it leaked. Wohler fixed the flashing, and it hasn't leaked since. They have also fixed leaks on another house we have, and seem to have done a good job. Most recently, they patched holes and reroofed a section of roof on my house that was damaged by a tree falling. They were patient with an insurance adjustor who really screwed up (I kept wondering why the estimate was so low, and then when I saw the adjustor's report, I found out why- the adjustor had measured wrong). Sometimes the wait time for jobs is a little long, but they are always willing to work small repairs into their schedule, which is good.

The owner of the company showed up when we were not home, and mailed us a bid, with practically a phone book of references (must have dated back 20 years). After reviewing the bid, he was over $5,000 more than the other 8 bids that we received on the same job, for the exact same scope of work. We called the owner to verify that he was quoting the same as the rest of the roofing contractors, and he immediately got offended and unprofessional. Wohler was more caught up in the brand of nails he was using and how many years he was in business as justification for his pricing. He also unprofessionally bashed other contractors in the area that have been in business the same amount of time as him.
