Did what i needed them to do.

We had a complicated request in that the project we wanted done was the installation and setup of both a Solar Panel system and a Whole Home Generator. The project started in March 2022 with the owner, Nate, responding to my contact request for a quote along with two other firms all of whom came within a few dollars of one another. My initial dealing with Nate as well as his response to questions after meeting convinced me he was the best choice which proved to be correct. Nate provided very detailed quotes for both portions of the project that laid everything out clearly in black and white. We knew there would be delays at our end with securing a home equity loan and dealing with our HOA and Township and Nate was upfront about supply delays, mark before you dig delays (it was determined early our natural gas line was undersized and needed replaced and done at no charge by the utility), inspections and finally the interconnect to the grid. All of these where handled between us and Monyer and although a slow process as he had described it went smoothly. Even before the Generator had arrived they had us scheduled pending the delivery of the Generator so we had a locked in date. Shipping held up them receiving the Generator but they reached out as soon as they knew and we rescheduled the installation based on the new ETA and they where easy to work with scheduling when I could be home and not traveling for work. The day of installation came and the Generator was installed very professionally and neatly and I was given a very good training on what I needed to know. Shortly after the Generator Installation being completed the Solar Equipment was received by the Solar company Nate contracts with to do that specialized work and again they scheduled us when it worked for them around when I would be home for several days as it is a much more complicated installation both on the roof and at the meter but again everything went like butter and was done neatly and professionally. At this point we where actually up and running with the Solar Panels generating power and the Whole Home Generator ready to do its job in the event of a power outage but we still needed the final Township inspection and the replacement of the electric meter with a bidirectional meter. We knew from previous experience that our Township works in its own sweet time which they did but the work passed inspection with no problems and then with two weeks our electric utility had the new bidirectional meter installed completing the project in its entirety in mid-November 2022 at which point final payment was made. Throughout the entire process Nate or a member of his staff was always in contact with us keeping us informed as to how their side of the project was going and keeping up to date with the little we had to stay on top of as the home owners. It was the same for Monyers Solar contractor who was always in contact with us and responded to us quickly when we reached out to them. I cannot say enough good things about our dealings with Monyer Electric from before starting to the ultimate finish.

BEWARE, avoid this company at all costs. Scam artist extraordinaire. We contracted Nate Monyer in November of 2021 to install a Generac whole house generator. We were told by him that he had a unit in stock and could have it installed late February of 2022. Although I felt his price was high, I agreed because he had it in stock. I gave him a deposit in excess of $6,000 with the balance to be paid when completed. February got a call, delayed until March. April then May avoids emails calls, finally I was told that the Generator was not being delivered to them because of supply shortages. But wait, YOU said it was in stock. I requested a refund. They would send a refund but keep $500 for restocking fees! When I questioned what they were restocking, he changed his story to "it is for administrative fees" . Then he told me he would take the generator off his show room floor to install late June. That story then changed to he had one from another customer who wasn't in a hurry and I could have his (yeah right another poor guy who won't get his on time). Nate just kept fabricating excuses and apparently got lost in his own tales. Bottom line I finally gave up and did receive a refund minus $500. He took advantage of an elderly couple. Be smarter than I was, bad karma here.

The team that installed my generac was amazing. All three were very professional and each knew his part of the job perfectly, They did a beautiful installation of a 24kW whole house generator and auto transfer switch. Very aware and concerned about doing everything to code. When they finished they went over everything that i needed to know about the generator. Finally, the pre-installation communication was first rate. They kept me up to date as far as installation date, time, etc. If you are considering a. Generac whole house generator, Iâ d very highly recommend Monyer.

Great company to work with. They did an excellent job in spite of being hampered by all the challenges of dealing with supply chain and COVID-19 issues.

They over all did a good job of installing a new electric box and the service was well done. They could have been a little more careful when cutting out the drywall for the new box location.

The owner Nate came to our house and provided a quote. His team did an excellent job following-up to schedule the job, securing the township permits, and installing the generator. I highly recommend hiring Monyer Electric if you're looking for a back-up generator.

Owner Nate Monyer came out to spec the job and walk us through the entire process. He answered all our questions during the presentation, as well as a few via email when we were making out decision. He was willing to work on price and there was no pressure to buy the generator or any add-on features. And Monyer doesn't pressure you with an expensive service contract. Overall a great experience. Our install was split over two visits, but everything was installed and cleaned up in a very professional manner. Monyer's master electrician, Alberto, told me our power would be out for about an hour and a half while he hooked up the panel. An hour and 15 minutes later and the power was back on. Now all we have to do is wait for a storm, but I know we'll be in good shape. Thanks Monyer!

The installers were very professional and mindful of our COVID-19 concerns. They finished in the time they had anticipated and left no mess behind. A great job!!

When installing a whole House Generator the most important aspect of the job is the installer, not necessarily the hardware. Of course your research will tell you which unit and manufacturer to buy, The experience when issues arise, either warranty or after install service work is crucial to a seamless customer experience. I purchased a 16kw new unit from Monyer, the team was exceptionally professional, courteous and clean doing the install, after several hours the unit was set to be tested, and no-go. Product did not start, so after troubleshooting they found that a bad part from the factory was put in, so the electrician went back to the office and explained the process for getting a replacement part. By the end of the day, David and Emmy the Customer Support team reached out to me and advised that an entire new unit would be exchanged for the old unit. That is customer service excellance'! When you purchase a large appliance like a Generator and Air Conditioner your relationship for anything correlated to problems, you deal directly with your installer....NOT THE MANUFACTURER! SO as I stated earlier the installers reputation and follow up is key to your successful installation and follow up. Highly recommend Monyer Electric and Generator installation, and I will reach out the net time I have an electrical related issue required. Great people, teamwork at its best and a pleasure to do business with....even through the pandemic that everone states "due to Covid we....." Not a word about it, they conducted business as one would expect!

Monyer Electric gets A rating. They came in much cheaper than all the other companies I talked with and their installation team was very knowledgeable and courteous....they kept me informed every step of the way and answered all of my questions. I would recommend them to anyone, in fact I already have recommend them to a friend.

They came when they said they would. They installed our new Generic in less then seven hours, including running new gas lines and installing the new electric panel. After they were finished cleaning up, they made sure we knew how the generator worked, how to open it up, and they also showed us the inside of the electric panel and suggested that we get a lock for the panel and were to put the key.

Monyer Electric deserves an A+. From the start to finish, the whole experience was great, beginning with my first meeting with Nate for the assessment and quotation all the way through the installation of the generator. They were very friendly and helpful every step of the way, taking care of all paperwork (permits, HOA paperwork, etc.) and I am extremely satisfied with the end product. You can't go wrong hiring these guys.

Simply unbelievable to find a contractor like Monyer Electric in these days and times. Super responsive in every way. Honest. Professionally friendly and obviously exceptional at what they do. In the office as well as in the field. With all of our questions we had and several trips to the site even before hiring them there was never a time where we were made to feel that we were annoying. Every issue from different options we had to save money or upgrade was addressed the same day if not within hours. Zero push for upgrades or up sales just suggestions on what would work best and what wouldn't be a good choice. I could go on and on but the point is we are fortunate to have crossed paths with Monyer and as long as they will "have us" we will continue to choose Monyer Electric for our personal needs as well as our neighborhood association's future projects. As a matter of fact we have already planned for Nate to come back and install a back up generator for our neighborhood water system. We have found a lifetime electrical contractor as well as a trusted friend. Even for future projects outside of his expertise Nate at Monyer Electric is who I will call hoping for a referral to another contractor. I would not consider using or recommending another electrical contractor. Monyer Electric's executive staff and technicians we're both courteous and professional in handling an emergency replacement of my previous generator. Once it was determined that my previous generator could not be repaired within reason, Moyner staff probably offered educated guidance and a fair quote for an expedited job. They were a pleasure to deal with and I wholeheartedly recommend their service for your generator requirements.

Monyer beat the competition in terms of pricing. The installers were respectful of me and my property. As far as I can tell so far, installation is all good. ...but it has only been 5 days and I have not had a power outage yet. So, full capabilities are yet to be seen.

It was amazing to see the whole installation process taken place and the excellent and professional job done by the Monyer Electric team. Not only was the generator setup exactly the way we had indicated, but they also installed it with all the protocols needed to keep us safe from the coronavirus. They completed our turn key installation of the generator along with the two propane tanks in one day. And then they ran a test for us along with a tutorial on how the unit automatically drops in when our mainline electricity drops out. Their team was very easy to talk with and they just did a fantastic job.
