Nicklas Supply

I would like to recognize Sales Associate, Mr. Steve Vazquez at Nicklas Supply for his professionalism and expertise. His help for me today was amazing and extremely appreciated. I am indebted to him and very thankful, he solved my problem in five minutes what two Home Depots and many phones calls could not over three days. He should be employee of the YEAR! We arranged with a contractor to order shower and door. We chose Nicklas based on their suggestion. We went and ordered fiberglass shower unit and a sliding shower door. Being laymen in bathroom remodeling we expected advise and input from the people at Nicklas supply. They ordered a custom door- standard size only custom in glass and finish. ( non-returnable- they failed to have us initial that part - right on their receipt). Per the spec sheet for shower unit they did order an appropriate door. although a taller option was available and they didn't even suggest. Due to house issues shower unit didn't fit and we needed to return shower unit. I was given a difficult time by the salesman on phone but finally agreed to return. When my contractor returned shower unit he was given really hard time asking what was wrong how bad unit was damaged etc. Not only did I get poor treatment but so did my contractor until he showed him the shower unit was in perfect condition. When I started working with Nicklas supply on shower door and said contractor said it was wrong size The person we purchased door from was nasty at best, despite my effort to go in and try to work collaboratively to come to a resolution. The floor manager (I assume that was his title) finally came out as asked the salesperson with an attitude if he was one that didn't return my calls. They just stated special order and not returnable! Over the following three weeks I had to call them every time. I never received a call back. I talked to door company and they said if supplier would take back they would take with re-stocking fee. Yet the supplier never addressed this until I specifically addressed. The nutshell is: They were less than helpful when we ordered with options and choices They were rude and had strong attitude when I tried to explore alternatives They failed to return calls or follow up and call back as promised The only positive thing I can say is the floor manager is only person that talked professionally to us. Although he never called back as he committed to doing. We would never use this Nicklas supply or Basco doors again based on their lack of concern for the customer!!!!
