"I did communicate regularly with the client starting from the initial meeting; to several phone calls for researching numerous items at their request (those are the items they pulled from the sale when they realized they couldn't get prices they wanted; to emails back and forth with the client; to the actual day of the set up/staging of the items. I don't think I could have communicated more clearly or more regularly than I did. Initially, during he evaluation/first meeting, the client did have more than enough to sell. Unfortunately, when they realized that certain items would not bring in a high value, they pulled those items. At the time of the set-up/staging process, because of the removal of items that initially would have been part of sale, I explained that the sale could possibly fall into the minimum category. Had they not removed the items, the sale would have grossed more. In spite of that, the sale was successful and the client did net a good amount for their treasures."
"When my associate and I met with the client she was very upset and indicated that no one in her family was able to help her. She was a lovely elderly lady who had to deal with the entire process of packing and moving by herself. We were very informative. We discussed, in depth, what we do and how we do it, and also provided her with paperwork that described the process, which included the Contract, Check List of detailed information and Reference List. We walked throughout the home with her, listing items she said would be for sale. She then took us to the garage, which was outside of the home. When we tried to re-enter the home, the door was locked. The client did not have a key! Her friend did. We drove her to her friend's house, procured a key, and brought her back to her home. The trip took us a total of one hour. We couldn't have been any nicer in our effort to help her. I kept in touch with her throughout the entire process. It was not until 1-1/2 years after the completion of the sale that she wrote this on Angie's List. I spoke with her daughter, who was as stymied as I as to why her mother would say such a derogatory statement, and apologized for her mother's behavior. We were informative from the beginning. The sale was very successful, and I don't think we could have been more accommodating, pleasant or helpful."
