We started off with a mini-snafu which caused a slight delay in scheduling, but that just was due to a lack of communication within the company.  After that, everything went smoothly.  The price of the service was very reasonable and I would use this company again.

I bought one of their Big Deals.  The arborist came to the house and we walked the property and talked about the work that needed to be done.  I have some rather uncommon trees and bushes and he knew them all - I was impressed with his knowledge.  He had forgotten that I had purchased a big deal and the initial price he quoted did not take the Deal into account.  Once reminded, he was more accommodating.  The work was delayed a bit due to bad weather.  The work was done just as I had hoped.  I have some trees that need to be trimmed and I will probably use them for the job.

Savatree informed me by phone that they did not service my area. They said that they would submit my refund to Angies list

I already reviewed this and I'm supposed to get a starbucks card!

I had to request a refund because AFTER buying the deal and my cc being charged I was told (after numerous phone calls and voice mails) I was "out of the area"- This should not have happened- The area that it covered should have been mentioned in the deal- It was a waste of my time.

They arrived early and used a big machine to grind a large tree stump. They were careful to avoid close objects, but ground the stump and the spines that ran outside the initial atump.

All was done quickly and left very clean.

I gave this entity C's because their customer service is below average. I paid a bill by credit card, my card was charged and they had no record of it. My first e-mail about the issue went unanswered. After reaching a local rep., I was told she would need to contact accounting directly. That took two weeks, and I received a response only after I followed up. Their website is unfriendly - the payment engine is limited and awkward and also you cannot view your account information.

My experience to them was fine. They were on time, they removed the trees and cleaned it up; they did a great job!

It was good.  The payment was a little messed up but it all worked out in the end.  We only wanted to spend the amount that we did with the big deal and we didn’t want to go over that but then they recommended a lot of services that we couldn’t afford.  We asked them to do what could they do for that amount and they agreed to do that but we kept getting emails saying that we owed them more money.  I replied saying ‘no we didn’t’ and they said sorry, they rechecked the paper work and it was all cleared up.  Then they did it again and we went through the same thing again but they didn’t push it any more than that.  The guys that came out were nice and everything.  It was all good expect the billing thing in the end.  The price was good because of the big deal.

We were contacted by the company after purchasing an online coupon for tree work, and scheduled a visit through the company for an arborist to visit and discuss details at our home.  We received a request to reschedule the visit, and were able to do without problems.  The arborist that visited our home had done work for us in the past, as we used this same company for tree and lawn care a few years ago.  The work requested was quoted above the cost of the coupon, but we decided to proceed since we felt the tree work needed to be done.  A crew came out and completed the care of the trees as discussed, and we were satisfied with both the quality of the work as well as the cleanliness of the area afterward.  The bill we received did not include the coupon, but a new invoice was requested and is due to be sent reflecting this discount.  We anticipate using this company again for tree care in the future.

I called Save a Tree for an estimate after seeing the Angie's list deal online ($140 for $300 of work).  They were able to come out within a day or two and when they came out they told me that $300 was the smallest job they would do.  If the angie's list deal wasn't available, I don't know that I would have paid that much just to get the top of the shrub cut off (seems a little pricey for the small job I was looking for, but as they mentioned that is their minimum charge).  They scheduled me for the following week, but didn't show.  When I called there was apparently a mix up and they rescheduled me for the following week.  They didn't show that week either and I had to get rescheduled again.  They finally made it out after about 3-4 weeks and several times of being reschedule. 
I had talked to them prior to the work being done and they told me that they had the Angie's list deal that I purchased and that it covered the whole cost; nothing left to do on my end.  I continued to receive invoices in my email for the next month and a half though telling me I still owed a balance (of $140 - what I paid for the Angie's lsit big deal) and then finance charges because I hadn't paid.  When I last called they did apologize and told me that it would be taken care of and that I didn't owe anything.  Haven't heard anything since 6/24, so thinking everything got cleared up at this point.

The tree is going to die eventually as we may have waited too long to have service done. The guy came out as discussed. He was professional and helpful.

They are a good company, it went well.
