It was good. The payment was a little messed up but it all worked out in the end. We only wanted to spend the amount that we did with the big deal and we didn’t want to go over that but then they recommended a lot of services that we couldn’t afford. We asked them to do what could they do for that amount and they agreed to do that but we kept getting emails saying that we owed them more money. I replied saying ‘no we didn’t’ and they said sorry, they rechecked the paper work and it was all cleared up. Then they did it again and we went through the same thing again but they didn’t push it any more than that. The guys that came out were nice and everything. It was all good expect the billing thing in the end. The price was good because of the big deal.

We were contacted by the company after purchasing an online coupon for tree work, and scheduled a visit through the company for an arborist to visit and discuss details at our home. We received a request to reschedule the visit, and were able to do without problems. The arborist that visited our home had done work for us in the past, as we used this same company for tree and lawn care a few years ago. The work requested was quoted above the cost of the coupon, but we decided to proceed since we felt the tree work needed to be done. A crew came out and completed the care of the trees as discussed, and we were satisfied with both the quality of the work as well as the cleanliness of the area afterward. The bill we received did not include the coupon, but a new invoice was requested and is due to be sent reflecting this discount. We anticipate using this company again for tree care in the future.

I called Save a Tree for an estimate after seeing the Angie's list deal online ($140 for $300 of work). They were able to come out within a day or two and when they came out they told me that $300 was the smallest job they would do. If the angie's list deal wasn't available, I don't know that I would have paid that much just to get the top of the shrub cut off (seems a little pricey for the small job I was looking for, but as they mentioned that is their minimum charge). They scheduled me for the following week, but didn't show. When I called there was apparently a mix up and they rescheduled me for the following week. They didn't show that week either and I had to get rescheduled again. They finally made it out after about 3-4 weeks and several times of being reschedule. I had talked to them prior to the work being done and they told me that they had the Angie's list deal that I purchased and that it covered the whole cost; nothing left to do on my end. I continued to receive invoices in my email for the next month and a half though telling me I still owed a balance (of $140 - what I paid for the Angie's lsit big deal) and then finance charges because I hadn't paid. When I last called they did apologize and told me that it would be taken care of and that I didn't owe anything. Haven't heard anything since 6/24, so thinking everything got cleared up at this point.

The tree is going to die eventually as we may have waited too long to have service done. The guy came out as discussed. He was professional and helpful.

Tim Marino, did the estimate, and scoped the job... He was very professional, made a number of helpful suggestions... Was there when the his workers started the job to go over all of the details... The 3 gentleman that were on the job to perform the tasks were on time, professional, and cleaned up after themselves... Tim returned to expect the job following its completion... He was terrific from start to finish... Would refer him and Save a Tree without hesitation...

When I ordered the Big Deal the company said I was in their service area, when I came back to schedule an appointment the company changed their mind and started to tell me they did not service my area when they are just down the street. I ended up finding a new and much better provider to help me.

Overall the job went well. I combined the job with a neighbor who had some work to do as well. They were hoping to get to all of it in one day, but had to come back on a second day to do my work. Even with that I was told that they would hold to the original quote, which is refreshing to hear. The workers were friendly and worked hard to complete the job quickly. I used an Angie's List coupon and am pleased with all the results on a job that really needed to be done.

The Sav-A-Tree estimator arrived punctually and provided a detailed description of the work needed to trim several large trees away from the sides and roof of the house we purchased last year. The previous owners had neglected the trees for many years, so there was quite a bit that needed to be done. At the same time, we were offered a price on removing a dead wild cherry tree and dead azalea bush. Their estimate was within a few dollars of the other two we had aquired, but Sav-A-Tree offered a coupon on Angie's List as well as having better reviews. We left with our dogs before the work was to be completed to minimize stress--on the dogs, not the crew! We arrived home just as they were finishing up. One of the trees being trimmed is a very large pin oak, and an arborist was up in the tree, cutting out deadwood and opening up the crown. The other two crew members were hauling and chipping the removed wood. All of it was completed perfectly, and we are delighted by the result. An added benefit was allowing much more sunlight into our yard, which is great for our gardens. Cleanup was flawless. We are very happy with Sav-A-Tree.

After we paid for the "Big Deal" service, they said that they had just decided to no longer support our area. We called for a refund, and they promised it would be done quickly. It still has not come. We called Angies List for help, but that has not helped either. Draw your own conclusions about using this service.

I used Sav A Tree last year and was happy with their responsive service and competitive pricing. My tree needed pruning again and I received a quick quote and they worked with me to make sure the pricing was reasonable with some flexibility with my schedule. I was not in a major rush so it was not a problem. Very responsive via email with both the office staff as well as the arborist who performed the work. I would definitely recommend Sav A Tree and I would use them again.

He dud exactly what he said he would do for the price he charged.

They were very nice and professional. I'm sure that if I would have had them do the work they would have done a great job. But it was just to pricey for me. I'm not sure if they were charging extra because I had a Big Deal or if tree trimming is just that expensive.

The described what the trees needed, what they were going to do and how much it was going to cost in easy to understand terms; they were very straightforward. I would suggest that anyone considering using them should definitely give them a call and have them look at their property. It was a little bit pricey but I did not price-shop this service. My trees are doing well.

We received a quote for the work on a Friday, and the crew of three arrived the following Monday at exactly the appointed time. While we thought that the small specimen tree would have to be cut down, the arborist convinced us that it could be straightened and saved. This work and the pruning was performed in a professional manner. All cuttings were removed and chipped. Clean-up was thorough. We are very satisfied with the quality of the work.

After promptly responding to my initial phone call, the company found a place in its schedule for the service without a long wait. The service person appeared at my home at the appointed time and was cheerful and professional. I showed him the plants of to be treated, and he arranged for his technicians to come out. During the time that he examined the plants, he demonstrated that he was a highly skilled botanist. I was impressed that he could explain in great detail the condition of the shrubs and trees and also offered valuable advice as to how one should proceed in caring for them after the scheduled treatments. I am using their services again this spring because it is clear after some time has passed that the plants were revived and are now quite healthy and thriving as a result. I highly recommend them.

We cancelled the overseeding due to the fact that the time line for optimal germination passed. Really truly awful punctuality. They did honor a big list deal that was offered in NJ and SE PA that they said did not apply to us. Felt that their honoring the discount offered to the rest of the area allowed them to send us to the bottom of the waiting list. Simple communication might have avoided this.

Company performe.d services as expected. I would use them again.
