Hair Salons/Barbers
Been going here since it was a tiny place at the Cheyney Road location. Over the course of 5 years, my stylest went from $35/cut to $65/cut. All the color services' prices climbed as well. I felt I was clearly paying for the overhead- the big fancy building, the chic feel, ste. While all these things can add to the salon experience, it was difficult for me to reconcile that the same stylest had doubled in price. So long, Joseph Anthony!

Hair Salons/Barbers
I am new to the area, and decided to give Josepha Anthony a try. The first visit for a cut and color was okay. All staff I encountered were attentive, but I was a bit put off by the crowded and rushed atmosphere.
I returned for my second visit recently - a hair color touch up just before a business trip. My appointment was on a random Thursday evening, not near a special or busy holiday/event that I would have expected to find terribly busy. I arrived to find parking absolutely impossible. The lot was full, and the and quot;overflowand quot; parking area was extremely muddy. I waited 10 minutes to find parking, and was glad I had arrived early to my appointment. Again, all staff I encountered were attentive - but all seemed overwhelmed and rushed.
The and quot;coloring roomand quot; was clearly overbooked for the evening. I had to move THREE times while waiting for my hair to set so that room could be made for other customers. This also happened to many other obviously annoyed customers, especially when some staff were less than friendly about relocating people.
I'm not sure if the busy environment was to blame, but I left to find that a completely different color had been used on my hair than requested. My roots were several, obvious shades lighter than the rest of my hair. In addition, I arrived home to find literally GOBS of dye left in and around my ears. The lighting in the shampoo room is dark to create a and quot;relaxingand quot; atmosphere. I'm not sure if the poor lighting was to blame, but the shampoo girl was obviously under pressure to get me out of that chair and the next customer in as quickly as possible.
I do not mind busy salons, and any reputable salon should be busy with customers. However, there is a big difference between and quot;busyand quot; and and quot;rushed.and quot; The business at Joseph Anthony has clearly grown more quickly than the staff can handle. I understand that they are and quot;workingand quot; to expand the salon and the parking lot to accommodate customers, but I'm not sure of the time line. It seems like the logical solution would be to limit the number of appointments booked so that each customer can be accommodated. Instead, it seems like the priority is to book as many appointments as possible at the expense of quality service and treatment of customers. The salon looks nice on the outside, but it's not worth venturing in for the poor service and hurried atmosphere.

Hair Salons/Barbers
They are very attentive and very efficient in the set up of the place. They have separate rooms for every treatment they make like the wash rooms are separate from the rooms where they cut and style the hair. They make sure customers are very well taken cared of like they would offer me a drink. They also make sure that customers are comfortable. They got anything that I needed. I would use them again in the future.

They have a range of pricing, different levels for different stylists. They have good availability of hours and good service.

THE SALON IS A BEAUTIFUL TOP-OF-THE-LINE SALON. THEY ARE PRETTY COSTLY FOR THE AVERAGE PERSON, BUT THEY DO AN EXCELLENT JOB.
