Mackey Construction

I hired Mackie Construction to complete a construction job. I met with Rick Mackie and I signed a contract. I gave him half of the contracted price to order materials and start the job. That was Sept. 2014 and I have not heard from him since. He robbed me. He will not return my phone calls or texts. This company is a disgrace. He needs to lose his license! All around TERRIBLE!!!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!

Called them on Tuesday May 7th about fixing a leak in the roof. They asked if it would be ok to come out the next day and I said sure. He said he would call prior to arrival and never called or showed. I called 2 days later to see if they were still planning on coming out to look at the job and nobody ever returned our phone call.

I called them and left a message and the following day they called back. Explained the damage and he said that he should be able to make it on Monday (Nov. 5th) evening around 5ish. Guy said that he would call and let me know if he could or could not make it. Well, safe to say he never called.. he never called on Tuesday or Wednesday either. If he wasn't interested in doing the work he just has to say so... He could / should have called to let me know if he was or was not going to make it, since he said he would let us know. This is terrible customer service and terrible way to treat potential customers.
