"the customer . anted me to repair dryall damage from a storm she was having a tile floor put in also with the dryall repair she asked if the floor should go in first or the repair both myself and the floor cotractor suggerted she install the floor first . she decicided she wanted the walls done because the floor guy was a month out.long story short i doid the work,the peice of cearpet was for the kick plate on the bottom step , which needs to come out for the floor guy to onstall the floor i gut the piece put it in place and didnt glue because the floor needed to be butted up to the step and the floor guy would have to rip it out to do his job . this was explained to the customer but not understood . as the dirt . i did a good clean up job . but there ia always some residual dirt .( i only traveled between the front door and the basement door, close to the front door and had tarps down on the floor as also inside the basement door entrance , not the whole house). the customer at the time i finished up inspected the work was happy and gave me a check . she did want me to come back and glue in the carpet a wouldagreed to after the floor guy installed the floor . but she didnt want to hear it .i did a very good job . even though the customes at the estimate stated that if the estimate was over she wouldnt pay the difference so we agreed on a price . i lost time but gave hew a good value go figure"
