Highly recommend! John Gambino Electric rewired our 100+ year-old house, removing knob and tube, other outdated wiring and bringing every room and the garage up to code. House easily passed the required electrical inspection. The team of Bill H and Bill were reliable, extremely hard working, great problem solvers, and cared about the quality of their work. Bill H kept us apprised daily of progress and met all project deadlines. As a homeowner, itâ s hard to live in a house during such a big project but weâ re so grateful we did it with this team.

I called out for help Saturday, and the job is done before noon on Tuesday! Bill and Jim were here early, 2 exterior fixtures replaced efficiently and looking great! They took the time to explain the settings for the motion sensors, so we can adjust them as needed. So much YES!!! John called me back within one business day of my initial inquiry to give us a quote and explain the generator transfer switch install process. We set an appointment for which Bill showed up exactly on time. He was OUTSTANDING. He explained everything he was planning to do, answered our questions along the way, gave us status updates and even though our house wasnâ t the most cooperative, went above & beyond to put the transfer switch in a spot that was more challenging for him but more convenient for us. Top notch customer service. He walked us through how to work everything and simulated a power outage to ensure it was perfect. And it was. John Gambino Electric has new lifelong customers. Bill H. was communicative about his arrival time and our options for an outlet install. He was courteous and cleaned up well after he was done. He kept me updated as he worked, answered my questions, and also made an additional recommendation for a separate outlet with the option for him to complete the work while he was here. Hire this company! They replaced the knob and tube wiring in my house as well as other updates like adding overhead lights, outlets, smoke detectors, etc, basically everything to make the electric system and lighting in my house modern and safe. They were very thorough, efficient, and professional! Bill H. did the estimate. He explained things clearly and was very patient with a new homeowner with a lot of questions, The company was very easy to work with. Both Bill and John were very quick to respond by phone and email, and Bill called with regular updates as they were working on the house, and did several thorough walkthroughs to show me the progress. They even finished a day early and left everything very clean and well-patched! It was an expensive project, but they gave me the best price; because it was a big project, they offered much better prices on installing the lights, outlets, etc, than other companies I talked to (I got quotes from three companies). I very highly recommend them and would definitely hire them again!!

Let me preface by saying the work was completed great. I was never sent an invoice or figure so when I was quoted $500 on the phone then asked for $575 I was pretty upset. John basically said ?too bad? and showed a text he sent to his worker, not me. I value transparency and honesty over anything. Like I said, the fan was installed great, by a worker not John. If you?re looking for a bathroom fan, they?ll get it done, just be careful about price. $75 is what John valued over me ever using their company again.

Bill and Carmine arrived on time, gave me a very reasonable estimate before starting the projects, were very professional in their work and answering my questions, and cleaned the areas well afterward; I would hire them again in a heartbeat!

The electrician (Dave) did an excellent job installing new recessed lighting to replace our older 28 yr. old recessed lighting and add additional recessed lighting to our kitchen and dining area. He was very helpful in helping us decide the best way to distribute the new lighting. He covered the work area and his path in and out of the house during construction and cleaned-up after he was done. We love the new lighting and plan on using John Gambino Electric for future projects.
