Description of Work: Russ hung two new light fixtures, fixed a grounded switch cover in bathroom by readjusting it so the cover was flush with the wall, changed out two old sockets in the basement, and changed a dimmer switch. Unfortunately the dimmer switch quickly stopped working in spite of the fact that it was brand new. I had another appointment scheduled for crown moulding with Russ but had to cancel due to my furnace breaking and being low on funds. I left a message canceling my crown moulding appointment and also mentioned that the dimmer switch was not working again, and that he would need to look at it again when he came back. I've not heard anything in reference to the broken light switch. I'm guessing he is waiting for me to reschedule, but that will take some time since I now need to recover from the holiday as well. Happy New Year!

Description of Work: Had a soft spot under a shingled roof repaired. Old shingles were removed, sheathing underneath was replaced, new icedamming was installed, and the old shingles were reused (they were not old). A gutter was cleaned out (very clogged) and repaired and chimney base flashing was installed (not present). All work exceeded expectations. Price was very very reasonable. Will use again.

 + -1 moreI called Russ late in the gutter cleaning season and he called me back right away. Although my geographic location was a reach he agreed to fit me in his busy schedule. He showed up as promised, did the job and really helped me out before ice back ups could potentially damage my roof.

 + -1 moreI noticed that my highest gutters were stopped up. I went up on the roof and I tried to reach them and I was unable. I call Modern Exteriors and they returned my call the same day. We set up a time when they would stop over to do the work. Russ was there as agreed, did the work and even showed me some areas of my gutters that need work. I said that I would get back to him about any more work and there was no on the spot pressure to make that decision right away.
Description of Work: Russ came out and cleaned gutters that were out of our reach. They were done as promised and the work was done well.

 + 0 moreWas great; price was exactly what was quoted. Did the work and left the bill in my mailbox. Even stated that he would have painted the metal flashing as well, if I had left the paint.
Description of Work: Had gutters cleaned out. Quoted price was the amount. No games. Also had some rotted wood on my front porch. He replaced the piece and installed metal flashing. On the main roof he installed a deflector to keep the rainwater from flowing out of the gutter. Lastly, he replaced a 10 foot section of galvanized drain spout that had cracked and was leaking.
