I called to request an estimate. Brian called me back and arranged a time to stop by. I gave him my list and he looked around the property. Then he used his smart phone to complete the estimate and email that to me. I had it right away. Every contractor should have this app. And the email included his liability and worker's comp insurance certificates. Brian then scheduled a date for the work. He called the day before and gave me a time. That morning he called again to say the crew was finishing up another job and would be delayed. That is no problem, but great to know. The crew of three showed up and went right to work. I came out and they asked me for comments. They took a lunch break and then back at it. They completed everything on the list and then did a through clean-up. I talked to them again and they asked if anything else needed to be done. I pointed out one branch to remove and it was gone. Great service and thanks Brian for being so professional.

Brian at Boot Road Tree Service was very responsive to our inquiry -- came out to look things over and gave an estimate later that day. Then, he basically followed through and everything went as he promised. Ours was not a large job, and we were flexible with scheduling, so we were expecting to wait a while, but he got to us just a few days later, and this included one rain delay. Because of the size of the trees, they subcontracted a crane to help with the removal and removed each tree in sections. You could tell they had worked together before. The whole process seemed well coordinated. All but the trunks and largest limbs were shredded on site and hauled away. The largest pieces were stacked by the driveway. The crane is very heavy, and the crew did an outstanding job to take it across the lawn with minimal damage. The crew cleaned up all the debris before leaving. It took about 7 hours in total. We had the stumps ground down, which was priced separately. This was done the next day, and the areas filled with topsoil, seeded and covered with straw. At the same time, they did the same with the small amount of damage done to the lawn by the crane. This took about 2 hours. I was pleased at the professionalism of the crew. They greeted each other warmly and bantered a bit. Obviously an experienced crew who knows what's happening and always aware of the risks involved. Except for the crane operator and the guy up in the tree roping off and then cutting off sections, no one seemed to have a set job. They each did whatever was necessary at the time. They really worked as a well coordinated team, like what they're doing, and take pride in their work. The only negative is the crane put a dent in one part of our driveway, but we do not blame them for that -- the rest of the driveway was okay -- so we figure it was a failure of our driveway.

It's great to know there are contractors out there who truly care about the job they do. Brian and his crew were awesome!! In one day the removed six very large trees and ground the stumps!! They laid material to try and minimize any damage to our yard from their machinery. Out of several quotes I had gotten to do this work, they were the most reasonable and best priced. I would instantly hire them again for any future work.

They took down the storm damaged tree, and left all the firewood stacked neatly in our parking area. Everything else was chipped and the area was left immaculate. We could even tell that something had happened there. There were bushes and a garden to the left and right of the tree that were untouched too. Excellent work!

Brian and his crew did an excellent job. The beech tree was in a precarious location near a light pole and surrounded by a stone wall. Nothing was damaged. They cleaned up the area so well, you couldn't even tell they had been there. Then they suggested where to prune my other trees and, more importantly, allowed me to add my thoughts. Again, they removed all of the debris and raked the area. They were wonderful to work with. Very pleasant and accommodating. Their pricing was right in line with two other quotes I had gotten. I used them because of their high rating on Angie's List.

BRTS gave a quick and accurate on site estimate, met their appointment, called before they came, had the work done within 15 minutes, and didn't leave one trace that they had been there other than the tree and shrub were gone. They were happy to take on a small job. There was a brief delay with receiving email communications from their website.

Excellent job, was done while on vacation and when we returned there was no evidence of lawn damage and no evidence of the trees!

Brian was very responsive after another tree service company didn't show up for the estimate, we called Boot Road Tree Service in a pinch, and they exceeded all expectations.  They fit us in to work within our tight timeframe.  His team is fantastic.  Very friendly, they have expertise, take pride and enjoy their work, it was a pleasure to have them for the day.  Extremely communicative, Brian checked in with us throughout the job.  We cannot recommend this company more.  

I could not have asked for a better experience. Not only was their quote by far the best that I got, I added an additional tree on the day of which was no problem. They then also asked about/suggested 3 other very small trees (to the point where I could have taken them down on my own if I had the tools), and some branch trimming, and it was done for free. I can't recommend them enough. Don't hesitate!

We have always been impressed with the thoroughness of their tree removal.  Our yard looks cleaner when they are done than before.  I don't believe they have ever left so much as a twig behind.  We feel they are reasonably priced and the men all work hard and efficiently.  We live in Chester County and this past winter was quite harsh on the trees.  We did have some difficulty getting hold of them because they were so very busy, but once we did, they were able to squeeze us in and get the job done in a week.

Company personnel are hard working professionals. Prompt, efficient, polite workers. No damage from use of large tools like crane and log carrier. All debris chipped and removed as promised. Brian, owner, is positive and flexible on the job. Would recommend this company to any customer with serious tree/brush removal work. This is the second time I have used this company for tree removal service. They have met my expectations for quality work at a fair price each time.

They were quick in provided an estimate and had the best price out of the other companies I called.  They were on time and came with the right equipment and right number of people.  They all worked together as a team  with safety in mind.  While they were working, another company came to pick up a dumpster that we had in the driveway.  The Boot Road Tree guys stopped and moved their equipment to accommodate the other driver.  I let the tree guys know that it was unexpected for them to come pick up the dumpster at that time, but they said it was no problem. 
They removed everything as planned and cleaned up after themselves.  They worked very efficiently.  If I remember correctly, the owner decided to grind down the stumps at no cost when he saw how unattractive it would have been to leave them there.  Very please with the job.  My neighbor even asked them about a couple trees on his property.  The owner gave him an estimate on the spot and they were removed right while they were there.

Although they showed up unannounced , they performed the job quickly at were very thorough in their clean-up.

Brian was doing work for my neighbor, we asked if he'd grind down a stump for us while he was there.
He said no problem. He's a really nice guy, and did a great job.

Best tree service I have had in West Chester in over 20 years here...

This is not my usual review style. I am very demanding/critical with service companies. Boot Road impressed me with the job they did.
