After they did the roof, they told me they could not complete the rest of the contract. They wanted me to pay for the roof and renegotiate for the windows and sidings, essentially a bait and switch.

On this particular Friday afternoon a salesperson from Power came to our door.  He said  they were doing work in our neighborhood.   I usually ignore cold-call salespeople, but I knew the neighbors whose roof was being replaced, and I trust their opinion.   Since we need a new roof in the next few months, I asked them to do a free estimate.    The salesperson
then called his supervisor, who said they had an opening that night.   I would have been just fine waiting until the following
week, but I agreed.   In the intervening 4 hours Power called both my home phone and my cell phone to confirm the
appointment.
The estimator/salesperson arrived early to the evening appointment.   He did seem thorough and went up into the attic
to check for any wood damage there.   We sat through the presentation with props and a binder full of info.
Power does seem to use high-quality products and installs only 50-year roofs, which is what we wanted.
The whole process took about 2 hours, and there was definitely pressure to sign a contact right then.  The price
would be $8000 higher if we did not sign that evening.     Even that lower price seemed very high, and we hadn't had other estimates yet, so we declined.

It went great. They arrived at 9 AM and left at 7:30 PM. Neat, clean, nice and professional. The saleman was very nice and the project manager was very nice. The windows were a bit expensive but at the completion of the job and with the lifetime warranty, I am very satisfied and happy that I went with Power Windows.

They were exceptional in service. The crew of people who installed the windows took off the sticker which was on the window sill and stuck it on the wall, and that left a mark on the wall. That removed some of the paint. So the two people who were the installers called their people and took the hatch with them. They bought some paint and hatched the wall. They put on three coats of paint which was a perfect match. They did the other parts of the wall which were bad and for which they were not responsible for. They still did the other parts of the wall as well, so that the wall looked good. I would use their services again in the future.

I absolutely love them! They were true perfectionist. I didn’t have to pay 1 penny until I was completely satisfied with the job. No down payment, nothing. I was amazed! It was such a hot period of time and they crew worked long every day. They made sure I was completely happy with aspects of the project. It was absolutely perfect before I paid 1 cent. They framed it beautifully and matched the color of the other siding to a T. Most people can’t believe it’s the same house! The project manager, John was very easy to get ahold of as well. He would return calls right away and even provided his home number!

Power Windows and Siding came to our home to give us an estimate on windows at 6pm on a Friday evening.  The representative was nice but would not stop explaining, comparing, demonstrating, etc. for another four hours.  We finally signed a contract after being assured we could cancel it within three days.  The next morning we came to our senses and checked reports at the BBB.  We decided to cancel the contract, called the company, then drove the cancellation papers to the company offices to be sure they received them in time.  But that was not enough.  A supervisor had to come to our house, give another speech, tell us how the original representative must have done a bad job, etc.  We finally got the contract cancelled, but this was an ordeal I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy.  This was hard sell at its worst.

The actual job went perfectly fine, but we had an issue with the salesperson. He stayed at our home far too long, which was a little annoying.

So far, so good. The work was expensive, but my roof is a combination of flat and peak.

The windows are very nice, but I wasn’t pleased with the company. The initial salesman and serviceman didn’t make us aware off all of our options. Also, I felt they used high pressured sales tactics.

Their efficiency really struck me. At the same time, they were very professional and careful in their work. Everything was finished in one day.

Power windows put in windows in a neighbors house and pressured us to get service too. The salesman came over to our house and we could not get him to leave. It was a very uncomfortable experience and they tried to pressure us to sign a contract before they left. Not a pleasant experience...I'm glad we did not sign with them.

They came to my house that same night.  They stayed for over four hours pushing their roof.  The price was ridiculous.  They started at $36,000 and went down to $21,000, if I signed right then and there.  Still an over-the-top price.  I subsequently hired another roofer who did my roof for $8500 and gave me a beautiful guaranteed roof.  Their price and their sales tactics are very unprofessional and time consuming.  I would never contact this company for any type of home improvement.

Cutting the ridge vent produced considerable debris in attic.  Also when the old attic fan was removed, resulted in a blown circuit.  Had to have an electrician come and repair.  Power remodeling deducted cost of electrician from final bill.  Also sent someone to clean up attic after power there was restored.  Work was done in three segments, roof, soffits and gutters.  good cleanup and work was done quickly.  Will probably have them back to do some doors. 

These guys are not in Newark, DE any longer and they're not Power Windows and Siding.  They're called the Power Home Remodeling Group and I think they're in PA now.  We got an estimate from them on our windows and they were great - On time, professional, thorough.  They're not the cheapest, but their products are excellent, extremely efficient and perform as advertised (I'm going on the opinions of a couple of friends that have had work done by Power).  We ended up having the work done by a cousin of my wife who came out of the woodwork and assured us he could knock it out and of course, do it cheaper.  I relented, but I would have preferred to spend the extra money for the customer service and support that a large company like Power would have provided.  If "Cousin Billy's" work fails, who do I call?

We are relatively satisfied with them. The windows were very high quality. We haven’t seen a return on the investment we were promised in terms of utility bills.

I though the were really good. They were efficient. They brought enough people to do the job rather quickly. They installed eleven windows in four or five hours. They did it right and well. They are very clean and efficient. They knew what they were doing.

That turned out good. They came in, they did the work and they got out. They knew what they were doing.

The estimate was high. The salesmen were very aggressive. He was very polite. I did sign a contract. It was a pain in the neck to cancel even though by law I had three days. I had to send it to them in writing. I couldn't just call and cancel.

It went very well. I am very pleased with the windows. I got about seven or eight estimates and they were the cheapest. The windows are extraordinary. They did a good job. They convinced us by hammering a nail into a 2x4 with the window. They go over any questions you have. They have reduced the heat loss in my house. Also the stink bugs that we have in the area do not come in the windows. They were here when they said they would be and they did what the said they would do.

It was very good. It was a professional installation.

They did a good job. They are diligent. When you have an issue, they come out right away.
