They did a great job!  The dumpster arrived on Thursday and they did all of the work on Friday. They cleaned everything up and I didn't pay them until the job was over.  They had an inspector come out while the guys were working to make sure that it was done correctly. They were in contact with me to make sure that I was pleased with my experience.

"Thanks for taking the time to write. I want to take a moment to explain our first visit discount, so that you better understand our pricing and why it is structured in the fashion it is. The reason we're able to offer such a steep discount on the first visit is simply a matter of efficiencies. We visit hundreds of customers everyday. By offering our customers a steep discount for an agreement that evening, we effectively eliminate costs from the potential project. It is simply more cost-effective for us to come to an agreement on cost if our customers are ready to move forward. And if we can come to an agreement, we push those cost savings right on to the customer for their trust in our products and team. At the same time, we realize asking customers to make a commitment on a large project in one evening is not something everyone can do. Therefore, we believe we offer other cost-effective options that allow you to consider Power while you schedule additional estimates are sit on the quote until you are ready down the line. We are extremely confident in our products, warranties and level of service and while we are transparent that we are not the cheapest game in town, we feel our customers will ultimately choose quality over the lowest bid. If you'd like to discuss this further, please feel free to contact me directly. Yours in Service, Ray Lodato Customer Advocacy Manager Power Home Remodeling Group 610.874.5000 x 2260"

They came in and gave us a good refresher on the windows before anything; they just took a lot of time to show us what they had and what they do. The windows are guaranteed for two lifetimes, it pretty much means that it is guaranteed for life as long as we live here and it's guaranteed for the next home owner. So that's pretty good; broken windows, any damage to the windows, anything at all is covered free of charge. They were very professional and they had their own guys come back and survey the work that the contractors did to check if they put in the windows right.

I like their work, the cleanup was very very good and the only thing I wasn't happy with them was, because I have not heard from them, how much they are going to charge for cleaning up the clogged gutters, due to the trees all around, just a minor observation.

He inspected the roof from the outside from the ground from all angles.  He also went up into the attic to inspect it from the inside.  He then took measurements.  This took about 30 to 45 minutes.  He then spent another 1 1/2  hours with me talking about the company and the products the company uses, warrenties, etc.  I felt like this was too much time and the whole experience with a little to "sales pitchy" for me.  The last 15 minutes were spent quickly telling me about their windows - I had somewhere to go and had to rush him through as I only allotted a 2 hour window.  We never even touched on the siding.  At the end of the time he was here I found out that Power Home Remodeling group would not be able to do some of the reconstruction that needed to be done with our our back and front porch and that was the deciding factor to go with more of a general contractor.   I was impressed with the quality of their products and plan to use the information they gave me to make sure I'm getting a quality product from the contractor who will eventually do the work.

We love the windows; they're very nice. However, after we got the windows they tried to sell us a door that was priced at about $15K, then it went down to $11K! I paid $16K for all those windows; I wasn't going to pay that much for a door. However the sales person was very persistent & we went ahead & ordered it, but I had second thoughts & cancelled within 3 days. They didn't give me a hard time about it. I was just amazed at the price of it!
The price for the windows was reasonable considering though. The installers were wonderful. They put the windows in, cleaned up afterward & didn't leaving anything behind. The only reason I wouldn't use them again is because the sales pitch is over the top & I wouldn't want to go through it again.

The sales person gave a very thorough explanation of the work to be done. Scheduling was prompt and they showed up on time. Unfortunately rain prevented their working a full day. They did come back early the next day and continued. They kept coming every day until the job was done. The finished siding looks very neat and all odd edges are professionally trimmed.  They did shut off my external AC unit and unfortunately forgot to turn it back on and I panicked thinking my unit was on the fritz. Fortunately my HVAC provider gave me phone instructions to fix it.

Once the contract was signed, a PHRG Project Manager, Paul, was scheduled to come out and double-check all of Kyle's measurements and to scope out the work in more detail. Paul made a good suggestion, which also saved  me some money.
I had a large, 30-year old A/C unit built into the lower half of one of my dining room window spaces.  The A/C unit was framed in, with a small  half-sized window above it. Paul suggested removing the old A/C unit, and replacing the half-sized window with a full-sized one.  He reasoned that the full-sized window would give better insulation, as there was a lot of air leakage around & through the A/C unit during cold weather; and that I could always install a window unit in the new full-sized window for the hotter months. While the old A/C still worked, it 'was' on its last legs. Plus, I would be charged no more for the full-sized window, and would actually get a reduction in my bill since PHRG would no longer have to re-frame the old A/C unit.
The PHRG installers were then scheduled to replace my windows. Tony and Dominic were right on time, and completed all of the work in one day, They were neat, clean, and did a fine installation, with no damage to my permastone around the windows.  They even had a "Safe Work Practices Check Sheet and Cleaning Verification" list which they went over with me. About midway through the installation, I got a call from the PHRG Quality Assurance man, Steve, asking if he could meet with me later that afternoon.  Steve arrived, and while the installers were still there finishing up their cleaning, walked through each window installation with me checking that both he and I were satisfied with the work done.
In summary, I found all of the PHRG employees I dealt with to be prompt, courteous, informative and professional.  The cost of their window is at the high end, but in terms of quality,  I don't believe that they can be beat.

I got a ring at my door the other night at 7pm!  It was some young guy flashing a worthless Power Windows badge at me saying, I'm from Power windows.  Okay, so why are you bothering me and my family (2 sleeping kids)  at this time of night?   Have you even looked at my house?  Do you see I have beautiful new Andersen Windows and Doors, and brand new Hardie Plank Fiber Cement Siding and a new GAF Timberline roof?  Quality building products, not a cheap $100. vinyl window youi're gonna try to sell for $1000.  as i've heard from a source. I can buy a real Andersen, Pella or Marvin window and have it installed for hundreds less, thousands on an entire house!
I'm not even sure if this "blanket the area" style of soliciting is even legal.   Get lost.

"Member, While I apologize for one of our representatives bothering you at a time you find inappropriate, understand that Power holds itself to the highest standard in the quality of our products and services. You noted that you have a roof installed using top notch GAF Timberline products - the roofing products we sell are produced by GAF as well. You can learn all about our complete roofing system (a roof is so much more than shingles) by visiting the roofing section on our website, but I can assure you it's second to none and backed by a 50-year transferable warranty. As far as our windows, we sell a specific line of windows manufactured exclusively for Power - you won't be able to find the exact windows we sell anywhere else. Why not? It's because the quality we demand in our products is not easily met. If you're interested in learning more about the intelligent design used in our windows' state-of-the-art manufacturing process, check out this short video - it'll show you all you need to know: powerhrg.com/windows/superior-technology If you'd like to contact me and discuss this further, please do not hesitate to. Complete Roof Tear down on house  - 4 layers of ashpalt shingles and cedar shakes,  replaced with architectural lifetime
(50year)  shingles and ridge vent.  My understanding is Power Home Remolding Group will warranty the job for 50 years.  Once Power Home Remolding Group registers the job with the shingle company (GAF),  the manufacturer will also warranty the job for the 50 years.  My two-car garage roof  (1 layer) of shingles were taken off along with cutting out the edges of rotted plywood and replacing it with cdx. A ridge vent and two sets of leaders and gutters was also installed on the garage.
The job was completed in 4 days in the coldest week of January.  These guys worked 12 hour days in the freezing cold.
(Tough Breed)
When the job was complete you couldn't tell any work was done in or around the house.  They cleaned up really good.  Not even a trace that anything was done.  Even the dumpster was taken away immediately after completion.
PS: The cost of the job was a little extra than the other estimates I received and well worth the extra money.

On Saturday morning, a gentlemen named Caleb rang our doorbell and told us they were doing work in our neighborhood and wanted to know if we would be interested in an estimate on having our windows replaced. My wife and I have only owned our home for 8 months, but we have several windows not working right and we have a bad draft coming off of all the windows. We agreed on having the estimate. At 1:30 Ryan showed up at our door and did the presentation which lasted well over an hour before he took measurements for the estimate. The presentation spend allot of time showing you why their product and services are so much better than everyone else's.After taking measurements, Ryan places all the information in his computer and gives us an estimate. One price is based on us signing the contract today, (about $3,000.00 less) and includes a monthly finance rate about $253.00. The other price is a price guaranteed for one year, but the monthly finance rate is more than three times the sign today rate. Ryan waits outside while we discuss. We agree to sign today. We do all the paperwork and four hours later, Ryan leaves the house. When he left he took our copy of the paperwork which included the paperwork to send in within three business days if we want to cancel.
I did several hours of research after Ryan left. The estimate that I received from PHRG is much more expensive than many other companies. Once a realized that the estimate was about double the industry standard, I looked for my  copy of the contract so I could cancel. As noted above, Ryan left with the contract. I called on Sunday and left a message. I called on Monday and was transferred to Teresa's voice mail and left a message. I also left a message on their website.
I sent by overnight mail a letter requesting that they cancel the contract. It will arrive well before the third business day of 30 January.
These folks do a great job of pressure sales. They say there is no obligation, and they don't push. However, their techniques are clearly designed to get you to sign. Beware of them and know that you can negotiate a much lower price with them or you can find a cheaper price elsewhere.

They were great! They cleaned up their mess. We had a leak afterwards that was not their fault and was only from around the chimney. They came right back and completed the repair. Whenever we needed them to come back to make any adjustments, they came back quickly and got the repairs done. The roof is more expensive, but they have the guarantee on it. Their guarantees look very good and are guaranteed by the company who makes that roof. They did a professional job.

Everyone who has helped us has been very professional and punctual. You can definitely tell that alot of what they do is marketing but they are not pushy. They cleaned everything after the jobs where done and they were concious of the noise with my 1 year old son. I felt at ease with them in the household. They worked quickly and we only had to wait 2 weeks to get the job done, and that was after I had to reschedule due to a family emergency. They only thing I wish they would do is wear those disposable booties to cover there shoes. Since my son crawls everywhere I had to clean the entire house after they left. They brought drop cloths but they didnt cover the stairs or the entrance. However, this is a small price to pay for quality affordable work.

Far beyond our expectations for workmanship, materials, meticulous care, professionalism, rapid accomplishment of task, and making the customer happy.
Spend the extra few dollars to have this FIFTY YEAR, TRANSFERABLE warranty roof installed at your home. The company is everything they billed themselves to be - and more. We were so happy with them, that we decided to contract them to replace our exterior doors!
It's great to see that a remodeling company GETS IT - why install garbage, when the reality is that they will have to come back again and again to fix their garbage? Install the best materials the FIRST TIME - charge just a few dollars more, and come up with an iron-clad warranty that takes all the worrying away from the customer.
Hands down, the most successful project we have had done on our home. TO top it all off, the end result is a magnificent new roof - a safe and sealed roof - a quality roof. Why would anyone want to go in any other direction.
HOME RUN for Power Home Remodeling Group! What a great bunch of people, end to end!

This review is being written following the brand new roof that Power has just put on my house. I am familiar with the company, since they also installed replacement windows and sided my house about two years ago. They have done an excellant job both times. They have cleaned up around the house. The roof looks great and has an excellent warranty. I don't think I could be more pleased. I expect the roof to be of the quality of the windows and siding. I would have now problems referring them to friends and neighbors.

Sales and delivery personal were professional. PHR group consultant called me to rechedule the installation following Sandy, they were able to accomodate me with weeks of the original scheduled date. During installation they had to use a mould and I asked them to use a smaller one because they had an 1/2 inch mould. The installation technician said that they don't make them anymore and Home Depot does not carry them. All said and done, I checked Home Depot nearby and they do have a 1/4 inch one. This is not the first time, they did the same for my previous installation.

A couple of guys from PHRG rang my doorbell, said they were working in the neighborhood, and offered a free estimate for window replacement. I don't normally go for that sales approach, but I wanted to have the info, so I agreed to an appointment. When the salesman arrived for the appointment, it turned into almost a 3-hour presentation! Not what I was expecting, and I made it clear right up front that I didn't have the money and wasn't going to buy their product. To his credit, the salesman gave a great presentation, explaining the benefit of each feature and the history of the company, which is headquartered in PA but has offices around the country. Honestly, I learned a lot and was impressed with their history of family ownership and being a green company. If I had the money, I would have hired them, but it's just not possible right now.

I had three estimates done and I chose Power because the quality of the windows seemed to be the best as well as the warranty.  They were not the cheapest or the most expensive, however, I felt they were the best quality.  The sales rep arrived on time and did a great job selling the product.
Unfortunately, I can't say the same for the rep who took the measurements.  He mismeasured by 2"!!! and our installation was postponed.  This was the second postponement (first due to Hurricane Sandy).  Needless to state, although I had planned on having the windows in early November they didn't get installed until December 19th.  The first installation crew (Schyler and Jason) were fantastic, responsive and very professional.  They re-measured, accurately, and were the ones that did the actual installation along with Ron.  My STRONG recommendation for this company is to send their installation crew to do the measurement rather than the middleman who clearly does not do installation!  That would have saved us time and lots of headache.
After much negotiation with the project manager and then the regional VP, the company issued a $300 credit, reducing the complete price to $3800 + change.  The reason that the company is getting a B grade is because of the delay.  Again, the installation crew was fantastic and I wish they were the ones who took the initial measurement.
I still do recommend this company and their windows, hopefully, the quality will hold up.  I plan on getting additional work done (bay window and two set of sliding deck doors) and they will be first ones I would call for an estimate.
