Very knowledgeable and work that he did was very professional.

It went well.  They did what they said they were going to do for the price they said they were going to do it.  The did a quality job.

Had to wait until ground thawed; then Adam came and fixed the problem completely, just ahead of heavy spring rains.  Left basement area perfectly cleaned.

I was very impressed--called about 8:30 am and John's was there and had it fixed by 10am. Super-fast response was very helpful and the repair was right on!

The guys did an excellent job. They were able to help me trace the drains and lines to the street since this is a building built in 1865 and no one had any idea how the gutters and drains fed to the street . They were able to trace them back and unclog one that was dumping rain water into the basement. They did an excellent job...punctual, professional, and resolved the issue. I will use them again.

Our sewer line is a bit below grade so it needs clearing about every other year or so.  We would call a drain cleaner when we notice certain signs of slow draining and pipes gurgling.   I decided to call John's Reliable Plumbing and Drain Clearing this time after reading another member's review about their excellent service and equipment.  They were very responsive and came out the very same afternoon I called the first time which was early in February.  It was a very cold day but Dave came and worked outdoors from the curb trap on his knees for the better part of an hour.  Afterwards he made sure everything flushed fine before he left.  Unfortunately a little over a month later one of our toilets overflowed when I flushed it.  I called them right away and they immediately sent someone over and cleared it.  I really appreciate their promptness and diligence.

John's Reliable came out the same day as I called to evaluate my water heater and why it was not functioning. My house had experience a damaged power line during the ice storm and it had appeared to have damaged several appliances including the water heater. The technician examined the unit and noted that the water heater was not receiving the proper electricity. Since no repairs were done, there were no charges for the evaluation and he provided a free quote for a new water heater in case there were still issues after the electrical system was fixed.

John came very fast and took a look at it and gave me the estimate. Soon after he's guy came and cleaned the grease clog. He's price was fair compare with others but that because all plumbers over charge in my opinion.

Very prompt, professional and efficient service.  We had a leaky toilet that needed to be looked at.  We called in the morning of Feb.20th and Mike was over just a few hours later.  Would definitely use again.

Our water heater started leaking due to old age so I called John's Reliable Plumbing.  One of their techs came out and assessed my situation and told me that I would need a new water heater [I knew that already].  What was great was that the tech that came out immediately started draining and unhooking my old and broken water heater while some other tech went to the warehouse, got the water heater and brought it to my house.   I also noticed that the techs replaced all the piping that I could see.  This was not part of the initial estimate.  They DID NOT add any money to my bill [which was great].
I don't remember if the techs wore "booties" or not but I can say that the work area was very clean when they left.  The techs were very nice, knowledgeable and efficient.  Trucks were new and no one had to leave to get anything.  I don't even know if the techs at lunch.
Of course I could have saved around $200 [now I'm getting greedy] by calling someone on craigslist or calling a friend but I really feel as though this was money well spend.  Excellent service and a reasonable price!  I would say that if you are looking for the absolute cheapest price look elsewhere.  I'm pretty frugal and I was very happy with the work done.
FYI I have used them for a couple other things and their phones are a little messed up sometimes.  You might get a random busy tone.  I usually just call back in half an hour.  They should probably get that fixed.... Well worth the trouble to me though!

He walked into the bathroom, found the problem with our shower and fixed the problem in less than 30 minutes.

He determined that I did need to have my emergency shutoff valve replaced and gave me a quote. He noticed that the slow leak had become not so slow, and strongly recommended that the shutoff valve be turned off until it could be replaced. I live in a building of condos that used to be apartments, so there is no main shutoff for my condo. For him to do the work I had to arrange with the condo association to have the water turned off for the building. Jason was willing to prioritize this so that it could be done as soon as the building water was turned off. He also showed me how to manually flush the toilet for the day and a half before the building water could be turned off!
In addition, he checked my tub waste and overflow plumbing to determine if this needed to be replaced. This required accessing the plumbing through an access panel that was small and awkward to maneuver in. He was very informative about how I would know when it would need to be replaced and what would be involved.
For the next appointment, he again arrived exactly on time, coordinated with the condo plumber, and replaced the valve quickly and effectively.
For each of these visits I was only charged a service fee. Altogether, the cost was under $200.
I can't recommend John's Reliable Plumbing and Drain Cleaning enough!

I called the day before Thanksgiving hoping to get service by Monday. I got service the same day, very soon after my call. He came in and was polite, professional and not only fixed my problems but also gave me good advice. He had the necessary parts on his truck. The parts he installed for me were far superior to the valves I originally had and were designed for everyday use, which is what I needed. Overall I could not have asked for a better experience. I have found my new plumber and don't have to look any further. Thank you John's!

I can't? say enough - it was as smooth as possible. I never has such a terrific experience with repairs. Adam was efficient and made? many helpful suggestions regarding "this old house."? Stop looking for another plumbing company now! You have found the best!

I called  and on the same day, Tom sent Dave & he arrived and diagnosed the problem right away.  He gave me some ideas and recommendations on choices.  I then picked out a new faucet and he installed it the same day I called to make an appointment.  He totally cleaned up after himself and was super polite and explained everything very well.

This was a non-emergency, but Adam came a day after I called.  He is well-trained and well-qualified, and worked efficiently,  He did a good job explaining what had caused the problems and how they were fixed.  Besides that, he is a fine young man--polite, respectful, and easy to work with.  I would enthusiastically recommend him to friends.

Everything went very well. Spoke to an actual person on my first call (not a recording) and scheduled service for the next day. Technicians arrived on time, very personable and professional.

Arrived when they said they would, plumber  made sure he had a matt down and nothing got scratched or wet.. Finished in about 30 minutes then he put the sink back together and cleaned everything up. Very professional and courteous.  I would highly recommend very competent and a fair price for their service.  They need to get a credit card reader like Square so charging would be easier, no problem just had to hand write everything.

Excellent! Very knowledgeable plumber. (was not John) but someone else on his staff with a British accent. Like I said very knowledgeable and professional. Would definitely call on them again for future plumbing repairs. He was at my home for an 1-1/2 hours and worked till finished. Very reasonably priced.

Plumber offered cheaper, easier option first, which fixed the leak.
