Everything went smoothly. They provided a timely and least expensive quote for same A/C unit from other companies and arrived as scheduled. I would recommend them.

I have question about the A/C that they install if this is the a new model, I don't have the owners manual. The model number provided by the mechanic is not same as the model in the A/C. I need a call from the company to explain this to me. I don't want them to my property unless they call me to explain and agree if they can come over.

John Smith was hired to install a heating unit in our large master bedroom. He and his crew members Juan and Josh were punctual, courteous and efficient with their service. They left the room as clean as they entered it and the unit works beautifully. Would definitely rehire.

Was very pleased, they were very professional. I had several quotes and I found theirs to be very reasonable. John was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. They showed up when they said they would and had the new furnace installed and working in no time.

Technician came to correct the problems the first company caused. He did do that, but the main problem was not fixed, due to wiring of the capacitor. He also did not test and diagnose the right problem. He also over charged me. For working for one and a half hours, he charged $250 plus the visit cost of $85; and the problem was not fixed.

Horrible experience. Not sure if this is a part time job for John Smith but he is completely irresponsible and lacks any remorse for his unprofessionalism. On January 5th we scheduled for him to install an exhaust fan at my home for January 19th. A couple days before the install date I give him a call to reconfirm that he is still a go and to ask about the brand of fan he will be using. Didn't hear back from him after leaving a message. So I call him again the next day and he actually picks up this time. He is completely caught off guard by who I am and why I am calling. Upon remembering that he scheduled to be at my home, he stumbled over his words, got nervous and claimed to have an "emergency install" that he needed to complete the next day and that it would take precedence over my job. He said he would no longer be able to make it out and that he would call me back in a couple of hours as soon as he got back to his office so that we could reschedule. He never called. It's okay to be absent-minded, but to have a complete lack of respect for a customer who wants to give you business by creating an excuse, not apologizing for your error and then NEVER following up is flat out embarrassing.

I scheduled an appointment for 9am today for an estimate on whole house air-conditioning, At 9:25 I call their office to see where they were as no one had shown up or called. The receptionist was polite and said she would find out what was going on. Mr. Smith (one of the owners) called a few minutes later and said he had driven up and down my street but could not find my house. The house #'s are on the mail box in 4" bold black on white background. During the time he drove up and down the street he never thought to call his office for my phone number (since he did not have it on my contact information, which is poor planning on his part) and let me know his reason for being late. Instead he left and went on to another job/bid. I had to call them to find out why no one showed. No consideration for my time. I can only wonder if I would have heard from anyone about the "no show" for the appointment that they set. If this is how they treat potential customers I do not see how their reviews and rating can be so good. I am still waiting for Mr. Smith to call me back to reschedule. We spoke at 9:30 and he said he would call in 30 minutes. Obviously, I will not reschedule or use this company.

I had my blower motor replaced in my furnace. I had multiple quotes that were close to $1000 and W&S were less than $500. I found the part online for $325 so the $1000 quotes were ridiculous. With the labor to install, the part and the service call fee, the whole price was $485. Jon was fair and honest with me. I will ask him to quote work including replacing my furnace, AC and water heater. I would recommend these guys to anyone!

Things went very well with Woodruff and Smith! We chose this company after our original company messed up the furnace repair and then stopped responding. We then requested bids from five different companies and did extensive due diligence this time. W & S gave a very reasonable price and had a great reputation. John Woodruff was a pleasure to work with! We will be using W & S for our future HVAC needs and recommend them highly!

Received a free consultation and was evaluated for what unit would be sufficient for my home. Provided an estimate. We decided to go with this Woodruff because of his knowledge of the product and the length of time he has been in the field. The workers came out on time and completed the job in two days. They did a great job and were friendly. Final price was what had been estimated. Would definitely use again, if needed.

It went outstanding. Smitty, one of the owners who gave me the estimate and recommended the equipment, knows his merchandise and understands his equipment. He gave me the heating and the A/C system and both functioned magnificently. The two installers, John and Bryan were personable and professional. They worked two separate days and were very quiet. One year later, I am thrilled of having the new furnace and air conditioner, and there is a monetary savings as well.

Needed a New AC and Furnace - the old AC was leaking Freon and I was tired of the cost to refill it.
Settled on 3 main brands (Carrier, Bryant, Trane) and added another (Rheem) as a lower end option. I used Angie's list to get the Carrier and Bryant Dealers. I knew both a Rheem and Trane (Wand S) dealer from prior experience.
I called and got quotes from Caruso, Metro, Wade, Staab, S Hills Plumbing, Woodruff and Smith. I called one other Bryant Dealer (twice) but never got a call back so they missed the cut right away.
So for Wand S here goes -
Called and got an immediate appointment.
John Smith came on time and looked over my situation. I had a quote from him before he left my house. Ultimately I decided on Carrier over Trane (Wand S) but I have no doubt Wand S would have done a good job as he had done work for me in the past and it was always top notch.

I was in the market for a new air conditioner and heater unit and they came in with the best price.
He was quite busy at that time and kept putting me off for more important appointments.
Finally after making the 3rd appointment ((with 2 no show prior appointments and I had called off work to make sure I was there), finally got it installed.
He did get it installed but found out later the piping wasn't done correctly.
Tried several times to get him to come back - but then he just never returned my calls.
I finally just gave up (and honestly, now I don't have time for them anymore - given service stinks).
Finally went to a different service - Coleman and Mitchell who corrected the problem - and they have been GREAT in follow up service. Also replaced the thermostat that Wand S installed since I wanted a programmable one (and Wand S wouldn't come to replace that either).
Morale of the story, sometimes when you go with the cheap price, you pay for it later.

They were awesome guys. My old furnace was making a terrible noise and it wasn't working right, I called them, they came, they cleaned it and they tried to make it right. They charged me next to nothing for trying to fix the old one. They said I should think about getting something more efficient and I didn't do it the first year they told me that, I struggled through that year and the next year I ended up getting this from them. They came back when I had concerns about the new system and I did not understand a lot of things in it, so they came on New Year's day, they came at the drop of a hat, so they were very responsive. They were half of what another company had quoted me. They were really good guys. I haven't had to call them lately because everything has been working. It ended up being efficient and it saved money. It was an excellent service that these guys came at the drop of a hat pretty much, when I needed them.

We had an old low-efficiency gas furnace replaced by a new high-efficiency one. The change required installing an air inlet and exhaust through the basement's concrete wall (rather than using the existing chimney). I was amazed at how they could make such neat holes through concrete! They also applied tape and insulation in the ductwork to ensure no leaks. Clean up was perfect and the price was very reasonable. We later found the fan to be noisy and they came out and replaced it at no cost. The economy reflected in the gas bills is just fantastic and my only regret is not having done it sooner.

The weather was getting colder and we were remodeling a house that had been vacant for 3 years. The inside was getting to be unbearably cold even with portable heaters. With all our funds tide up in the renovation, we had no extra funds for a new furnace. If it wasn't for John starting our furnace, we would have been forced to buy a new furnace prior to finishing our new home. Forcing us to move into an unfinished home. John not only got the furnace started, but it has been running for the past two months with no problem. I will definitely buy my next furnace from John and I would definitely recommend their services. He was not only prompt but honest.

John Smith was my primary point of contact for the duration of the job. He recommended the system that was eventually installed upon his initial visit and they ended up doing a fantastic job.
I didn't know a lot about the options that were available until John explained everything to me. He came out and did the initial estimate and had a written estimate to me in a reasonable amount of time. I did get other opinions/estimates for the job and Woodruff and Smith came in far less and after he explained his recommendation I was convinced that John was the guy to use.
I did a 203k loan, which meant there were more contractor requirements and paperwork to fill out than normal and John had it returned to me very quickly.
The job took about five days, which is exactly what he thought it would take. Woodruff and Smith came in a timely manner. The installers had everything cleaned up when the job was finished. I'm happy with the system and will use Woodruff and Smith in the future.
One last thing that I always try to mention regarding contractors to my own friends or contacts is whether they were responsive or not. I had no trouble getting ahold of this one whatsoever, and even had a couple of semi-lengthy, very informative conversations with him, one of which was even after the job was done. These guys clearly understand customer service and that part was appreciated just as much as the actual work.
