From Angie's List, I selected six roofers to give me an estimate. My family and I selected Prescott Roofing to do the job. We are very glad that we selected Prescott Roofing. They were very professional, skilled, hardworking and well equipped with the tools to do the work. They cleaned up daily. They were punctual and supplied the man power to get the job done in a timely manner. I highly recommend Prescott Roofing and would hire them again. The roof looks great.

It was reasonably priced. They did a great job.

Prescott was very thorough and responsive. I have had many roofers to my house over the years, and this was the first time that someone took pictures of the problems on the roof and showed me exactly what needed to get done. I initially called because we had a small flat rubber roof that needed replacement on the side of the house. This roof was replaced in such a way that it no longer holds water and that the water drains properly into the gutters and away from the house. Additionally, I had them do additional repairs to the main roof.
The job took a little longer to get started than expected because of all the rain in June - but once started, the job was completed promptly. The workers were courteous and cleaned up after the job was complete.
I would definitely hire Prescott in the future for roofing needs.

I use them all the time. They are wonderful. I have been using them for 20 years. They are prompt. They are clean. They are really affordable. I have never confusion with them.

Excellent job. Steve provided an extremely detailed summary of what needed to be done. CJ and his crew completed the entire job in 2.5 days. Clean up was immaculate. Excellent communication throughout as well!

They came out quickly and estimated needs and costs.  They next put a temporary cover over the damage to prevent further potential damage from rains that might fall before the job was done.

Said they couldn't inspect or certify roof was ok for insurance purposes

Old slate shingles were removed, roof was completely redone. New shingles, cutters and downspouts. Everything was professional and timely. We are very happy with our new roof and with Prescott Roofing!

Even though the weather made work difficult, the crew kept at it. They kept me informed about when they would be working. Because of bad weather the five working days for this job were spread out over two weeks. I have used this company for three jobs on my roof and gutters. Each time I was very satisfied.

Outstanding service began with quick response to address a ceiling leak after a rain/wind storm last fall and followed with a contract to provide more extensive service in more favorable weather conditions. Estimate and work specifications were very thoroughly prepared and work was expertly provided. Prescott's personnel are very customer-friendly and easy to work with. We are very selective about the company with whom we choose to do business, especially because we have an elderly tile roof, and are very pleased with the expertise, value and overall good experience we have always had with Prescott.

The company receptionist and guys who did the estimates were very professional and we had scheduled a particular week for the project to be done. I was less impressed with the crew that showed up and started the work on that Monday. The foreman was OK, but he complained of his shoulder frequently which he had injured in an ATV accident (sorry to hear, but not my fault or my issue for completing the work he was hired to do.) They complained a good bit about the demo as it was quite messy (which we figured it would be) and they did use drop cloths, but it was quite messy and we decided we would need to clean the carpets after they were done with all of this work. The demo was done in about 2 days and then they started the rest of the work. This all went pretty well, but I was surprised at the hours these guys would work... they would not come till at least 8am or 8:30am and then would start packing up to go by 2:30pm. wow, nice work hours, huh?? they said it was because they had a far drive and my location was far for them and they needed to be home by 4pm. again, not my fault where they live and where I'm located, you know? the work continued and the drywall guys did a really good job and were more professional than the main guy who was working with the foreman, he had quite a mouth on him and was quite loud and chatty and not terribly professional and I think he whined more than my two kids about his job! (then get a new job, right?!) 
in the end the work done was good even thought it took a bit longer than we originally planned, which I understand happens with this kind of project. I wish though that on the last day they were not in such a hurry to leave (oh my gosh, it was 3:30pm!!!) and that I had a chance to go over things and be asked what I thought, etc. they did do a couple of extra things I asked him to do (trim a couple of other doors upstairs to allow for the future carpeting) but there were a few things that I reviewed later - after they had gone - that I thought could have been done better, but I never really had the chance to talk to them before they ran out the door. 
later, I got an invoice in the mail for the amount that I still owed, which was fine, but I was hoping for a follow up call from the company just asking how things went, etc. before asking for the final payment. In the end, I had to call and gave them my feedback (which he was receptive to) and paid them the balance. Overall, I think they did a good job on the work that was required, but I would say that the experience in general could have been better. 

The workers were thorough. My only complaint was that my kids noticed cigarette butts in the backyard afterwards.

Mr. McGrogan appeared to be professional; however, actions speak louder than words. 

I called them because the ceiling was dripping in a bedroom. The lady was friendly and courteous on the phone, I told her I found them on Angie's List and she told me about their family business, she made an appointment with me to have someone come look at the issue within a few days, he came on time and was also courteous, and then I never received an estimate or what they deemed the problem to be. I called a couple weeks later to follow up (thankfully the ceiling was no longer dripping but the issue still needs resolved) and was told they would pull my file and get back to me. I've never heard from them again. I have contacted another roofer for the job, which turns out to be a leaking dormer that needs sealed in.

W M Prescott Roofing & Remodeling came out and gave us the quote and everything went timely and we are just waiting to have the job done. He came out about a week after I called him.

Very professional Excellent estimate. We were unable to go with them because our house sold before the work was performed. However, we would have used them if our house didn't sell.

Excellent. Prescott Roofing impressed me from the beginning, starting with the estimate. The estimate was the most detailed estimate out of the 4 estimates I received and as I was comparing estimates, any questions I had regarding the estimate were answered within 24 hours. Prescott also had no problem providing us with proof of workers comp and liability insurance.Once work started on our house, communication was excellend. For example, at the end of their first day at our house the foreman called me to see if I had any questions and they continued to keep us informed throughout their time at our house. Any issues that came up, we were informed and we felt comfortable discussing the situation and options with the workers. Once they were finished they took the time to rake and sweep the property with care. Eventhough Prescott's price was slightly higher than the other estimates my impression that they would not cut corners and rush to get the job done was accurate. Prescott used quality products and we have no problems with our new gutters, downspouts and soffia. We are very pleased with the quality of work, their communication, responsiveness and time they took to discuss options.

We had a leak in the main roof that caused the ceiling of the finished third floor to leak and deteriorated/fall. Steve from Prescott came out and looked all around, inside and outside and determine the cause. He said that it would likely be the following Friday before they could get out to take care of this, but to my delight, they came earlier than expected and completed the work. This was days before Hurricane Sandy, and I was very, very pleased that they were able to complete the work so quickly! The price was very fair and I will definately use this company again. I have already recommended them to co-worker who had a leak and asked if I knew anyone.

The estimate was professional and comprehensive.  The roofers showed up when they were supposed to, were friendly and neat, worked hard, and finished on time.

They were meticulous, reasonable and conscientious. I felt that they were reasonably priced.

W M Prescott Roofing & Remodeling left me a message a couple of weeks ago and I just haven't made my decision yet. They were nice and were real responsive. I liked that they were quick to come out and give me an estimate and took their time to discuss the situation with me and discuss their materials and products and the necessary work. I have damage from a hail storm and he said that he would work with my insurance company to try to bring them into compliance with his bid. They were the highest of the three I solicited, but he did offer to work with my insurance company and I don't know if it's going to come down.

.I called Prescott Roofing and the phone was answered by the most pleasant, helpful woman.  That was my experience with Prescott Roofing from the beginning to the end.  The job was completed  as quickly as possible when the weather co-operated.  The gentlemen who completed the job were polite and friendly.  Prescott sent out men to begin the work on our roof as soon as possible.  We had a serious leak.  We had had the roof repaired a few weeks before we called Prescott.  The first rain let us know we needed to call a new roofing company. The job was completed with no inconvenience to us, the roof looks great and is keeping us nice and dry.  After the job was completed we received a call from Prescott.  It was again a most pleasant woman named Diane.  She called to inform us that we had overpaid by $40.00.  She said she would mail us the refund immediately.  We received the check the next day. Highly recommend.
